Congratulations - Baby Girl

I like doing baby cards in brighter colours when I have the opportunity.  Not everyone is a fan of pastel colours so it is good to have some non-pastel options.

I have used two digital papers from Trimgym.  The image is from Morgan's Art World and the sentiment is from Netty's Cards.  Colouring is with copic markers.

I followed the sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches:

Mini Card with Mini Tag

I had some issues with this one as I only had a very little tag die so I decided to make a Mini Card.  The card is 8cm x 8cm.  It also gave me the opportunity to use up some of the smaller pieces of Marianne Design paper that were offcuts from other cards:

I would like to enter:

Marianne Design - Card with a Tag
http://mariannedesign.blogspot.com/2020/09/challenge-255.html

I have used an offcut piece of cardstock and covered it with double sided tape.  I then applied the offcut pieces of design paper on an angle.  The pink lace piece is also an offcut piece which I cut with a die from Marianne Design.  I stamped a cupcake pattern on paper and then die-cut it into a tag shape using a different die from Marianne Design.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I mounted up the tag using mount tape and then added some twine through the hole in the tag.

I have used the following Marianne Design products:

PK9155 - Weathered Wood Paper

PK 9140 - Mixed Media Paper

LR0376 - Frame

EWS2206 - Cupcake Clear Stamp

COL1345 - Tag

This card will be used to attach to a gift.

Summer Time

Definitely not summer time here at the moment.  I can't remember Spring being as wet and windy as it has been this year.  Despite no sun today, I got my washing dry in just over an hour as the wind was so strong (and fortunately no rain in that time).  I think the rain isn't too far away though.

I have used a digital paper from my Awaiting Crafting Box (source unknown).  I also embossed some white cardstock for the left side of the card.  I added some ric-rac braid over the join.  The image is from Hetty Clare Art and the sentiment is from Trimgym.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added shell embellishments to the "sand" in the picture.

I'm not sure what happened with this post.  I published it yesterday and added it to the above challenges.  And then today, discovered that it had gone back to draft.  I so hate this new Blogger and it's quirks!

Love

I kept to a simple red, black and white colour scheme for this one:

It's Your Day

A bit of a summery card to remind me that summer is on it's way.  Although, the past couple of days it doesn't seem like it.  We have had high winds and quite a bit of rain - I'm sure it isn't this windy and wet in Spring normally.

I sort of followed the sketch at Sweet Sketch Wednesday - I changed the central image to a rectangle.

Get Well Soon

This is the second of the cards I intend to complete for the September BINGO challenge at Catch The Bug.  I like to either use each of the three horizontal rows or the three vertical columns.  This month, I decided on using the horizontal rows.

I think you're Purr-fect

We are at the midway point of the Family Ties Challenge at Path of Positivity.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by Bugaboo Stamps and Scribbles Designs.

I have used an image from Bugaboo Stamps called SI BDay Kidz and Cat (which isn't currently in the shop).  When I showed this to my daughter, she asked "Is that me and my cat?" so I think I nailed the Family Ties!

The digital papers and sentiment used are also from Bugaboo Stamps.  Colouring is with copic markers.  I added some pearls as well.

We are at the start of the second Anything Goes Challenge for the month of September.  For this challenge, we are sponsored by Fabrika Fantasy.

I have used an image from Fabrika Fantasy called Little Witch.

I also used a digital paper from Bearly Mine Designs.  The sentiment is from Ginger's House and is one I have at times been able to relate to!  I can remember leaving the cobwebs in September one year as I thought that they would be great for Halloween! Colouring is with copic markers.  I also used some black mesh ribbon and some black glittery Halloween themed words.

Christmas Time

We are midway through the Say It With A Sentiment Challenge at 12 Months of Christmas.  We are sponsored this month by Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.

I have used a sentiment from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.  The Rejoice sentiment is a freebie and can be found here.  It was intended as an Easter sentiment but I thought it worked perfectly for this card.

The digital papers are also from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.
