Envelope Wraps ~ Make it Monday

Good morning friends!  I couldn’t resist this fun project idea for the PTI Make it Monday challenge.  Danielle shows us how to make these cute envelope wraps (hmm, that almost sounds delicious!).  It was the perfect project for me to break open my Simon Says Stamp set Envelope Sentiments that I bought last year! YIKES!!

Here’s the back of the envelope…I love all the sentiments in this set, especially “Precious Cargo.”  That’s what I call the DH to remind him to wear his seatbelt :)

Wish Big ~ Curtain Call Reminder

There is still time to join us for the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge: Pink & Pretty!  You have until May 10th at 8:00 AM CDT to be inspired and share your project!  I’ve been having so much fun making shaker cards!  The most fun part is deciding what should go inside…I’m branching out a bit now and adding little wooden bits to the sequins!  I’ve used some Pretty Pink Posh’s Silver Heart Confetti along with some jumbo gold and smaller pink confetti. Verve May Diva Inspiration Blog Hop

Welcome to Verve's May Diva Inspirations Hop. It's the 5th of the month and that means it's hopping time! This month we've got a fabulous challenge that's sure to take you on a sentimental journey! Fancy fonts are all the rage! Let your inner wordsmith shine and make a gorgeous sentiment (or two or three!) the focus of your card. Whether you draw inspiration from the graphic or take some poetic license of your own, just flash us some fonts!

Oh, you know I just adore mixing fonts :)  Hence, my little sentiment on an extra tab.  Julee uses mixed fonts on most of her sentiments so it was easy to create a card for this request.  As I announced on the last Diva Inspiration Hop, I’m going to be a bonus Grand”Moe,” so I thought I’d make a few Mother’s Day/Grandma’s Day cards :)

Garage Sale Rained Out!

Hey!  To all my local friends who came up to our Community Garage Sale in the pouring rain!  You are braver than I!  All week long I was hoping the weather forecast would be wrong, but no such luck :(  With the pouring rain/ snow flurries we were having at 8:00 am I made the executive decision to stay inside and do homework.  I noticed it was very slow this year in our huge community and was so sad the weather did not cooperate like it usually does.  Heck, I had a sunburn last year!

I missed seeing you all and sharing my "treasures" with you!  I did have cards, paper, and new and gently used stamp sets already to put out.  If you still want to come by this week in the evening, I'd be more than happy to let you look and buy.  Just email me at moeplut@shaw.ca and we can arrange something!
