Hi friends! Sorry I’ve been MIA this past week but our granddaughter came back to visit :) I’ve also been playing with some new mixed media in the form of art journaling! Yes, I’ve caught the bug! Then all this happy mail arrived! LOL
I’ve been reading and viewing videos on it and WOW there is SO much out there! Kind of like when I discovered card blogs so many years ago. I’ve been smitten by so many artists, but Sandra over at Sandyart Designs is one that really has touched my heart. I LOVE her collaged images and doodling :) Even though this is my very first try, I’m entering it in the Mixed Media Monthly Challenge.
I’ve used embossing paste through a circle stencil to add raised dots in the upper left hand corner. I took one of my favourite quotes from my Pinterest Board and used the OLD collage alphabet from Stampin’ Up to stamp out the words! I knew there was a reason I never got rid of it! LOL It’s not perfect, but that’s Art Journaling. I think I’m going to love this new freedom! Thanks for stopping by! The blog will get busier now as I’ve got lots of DT stuff to share! Yay!
