A Whole Lot of Awesome ~ The Card Concept

Spring is in the Air!

Happy first day of Spring everyone!  Oh, my favourite season is here!  I just LOVE spring.  I love the warm sun, the little green buds, tulips, more daylight, everything!  I think that's why I needed this PTI Tulip set.  It reminds me of the original two step stamping by Stampin' Up! I had their tulip set, but sold it many years ago.  So this new PTI one was needed.  I made this card for our Music teacher.  She put on an adorable Spring Concert with 200 of our primary students.  No easy feat!  This was given to her with some beautiful spring flowers to say "thank you."  Before I go, I'll leave you with some lovely Spring quotes...thanks for stopping by, now go enjoy that first day!

Nothing soothes the soul like SPRING! AGREED!!  I am a spring girl through and through and with the new Verve set New Beginnings  I created a delightful Spring card with some of my favourite colours and embellishments (doily? of course!).  I used softer tones of the colours in the photo along with the "Thanks so Much" sentiment from Simply Amazing.  Then I added the On Occasion frame and some Bloom & Grow leaves to support those sweet flowers from New Beginnings.

Hi dear friends!  For those of you who’ve been around here for awhile, this is my using Ode to Spring post.  It’s my favourite season and I cannot let the day go by without singing “AMEN!” to Spring.  However, there’s been no studio time this week so I thought I’d repost last year’s rewind (hence the double rewind of my post title!
