DE TUIN BEGIN SEPTEMBER - THE GARDEN BEGINNING OF SEPTEMBER

"Ik breng hem wel even terug.  Dit hou ik uren vol, concentreren, gooien, rennen, vangen en terugbrengen. Ja, ik houd mijn conditie goed op peil."

Cobae scandens alba is in het hek geklommen en toont haar eerste bloemen.

Na Snarf even zijn zin te hebben gegeven, stop ik er mee en ga verder met fotograferen van de tuin en wat er zoal bloeit.  Het valt me eerlijk gezegd tegen.  Er bloeit wel genoeg maar door de veranderingen van afgelopen winter is het rustiger maar ook iets saaier geworden.  Nu is het tijd om goed te kijken wat we komende herfst en winter kunnen verbeteren. Ik ben er nog niet helemaal uit.

De trompetklimmer bloeit hier ook vrij laat.

The Campsis radicans is flowering rather late in our country.

After I gave Snarf what he wanted, I stopped playing to continue photographing the garden and the flowers on this first September morning.  Frankly speaking I think the garden looks a bit poor for late summer. There are still a lot of flowers but by the changes of last winter the garden shows calmer, but also a bit boring. Now it's time to have a good look for making improvements coming autumn and winter. I'm not yet sure about.

Vorig jaar stond de roos 'Heathcliff', je weet wel de roos die ik kocht voor de naam, nog in pot, nu heeft hij zijn definitieve plek in de volle grond gekregen en doet hij het veel beter. Hier aan het begin van een tweede bloei.

The rose I only bought for the name, 'Heathcliff' was until this year in a tub, now I've planted the rose in the garden, 'Heathcliff' is growing much stronger and healthier.  This is the second flush of flowers.

Over de zogenaamde eenjarige stokrozen die ik dit voorjaar zaaide ben ik niet zo tevreden, ze worden lang niet zo hoog dan de tweejarigen en beginnen ook nu pas te bloeien.

I´m not very satisfied about the so called annual hollyhocks I have been sowing this spring, they don´t grow very tall and have started flowering only at this moment.

Ik ga wat bollen knippen van de Annabelle hortensia om binnen te zetten, voordat ze bruin worden.

I´m going to cut some balls from Hydrangea ´Annabelle´ to put inside, before they are turning brown.

Dit is volgens mij eenvoudig mooi.

I think this is simply beautiful.
