January 2025 Release - Introducing... Ink & Flip Layering Flower Stencil AND Simply Said Blocks Occasions Clear Stamp Set

Happy Friday.

Welcome to Day 4 of the Uniko January 2025 Release product introductions. Today I introduce to you another fun addition to the Uniko Ink & Flip Stencil series AND another super useful addition to the Simply Said Blocks clear stamp series.

I've been wanting to add a flower to the Ink & Flip line up and I played about with a few ideas, but then I was looking at Flower Power #8 and thought it would be fun to combine the two collections and this is what I came up with. Again, this new Ink & Flip is featured in the newest Simply Cards & Papercrafts magazine.

Simply Said Blocks Occasions inspiration came in October when I had no Uniko Halloween sentiments! It got me to thinking of occasions throughout the year and so this addition to the collection was created.

Let's have a look at these in action on some cards...

I think you'll agree with me that both these new products have a lot of potential and use all year round. I also love creating products than can be combined with previously released ones for more creative options and breathe new life into them.

Thank you for joining us again today and I hope you will join us tomorrow for the final product re-introduction?

January 2025 Release - Introducing... Flower Power #11 and Stencil - Mid Century Modern Circle & Stars

Welcome to Day 3 of the Uniko January Release product introductions.

I hope you are enjoying the release so far. Today we are introducing two more products, Flower Power #11 and Stencil - Mid Century Modern Stars & Circles.

The Uniko Flower Power series is one I added to last year and it sparked my love for the collection again and also sparked inspiration to finish the collection. This is the penultimate one and one that has a spring feel to it, but also has an Art Deco feel to it. Also, like the other Flower Power clear stamp sets, this has a sentiment theme, for this one I chose a friendship.

The Mid Century Modern Stars & Circles was a last minute addition to the release and one I couldn't keep to myself.

Let's have a look at these in action...

Such a fun hop with so much inspiration for all year round, I hope you enjoyed it as much as I did. That's all from us today, but we will be back tomorrow with even more to share.

January 2025 Release - Introducing... Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem AND Sparkle Sentiments Clear Stamp Set

Happy New Year!

Welcome to Day 2 of the Uniko January 2025 Release product introductions. Today we are ringing in the New Year with bling!

I am so excited to be starting the New Year with new products and I chose these two products, Ink & Flip Layering Geometric Gem AND Sparkle Sentiments today as I think they can be used for New Year cards and of course, so many more occasions.

A while ago I was asked by the editor of Simply Cards & Papercrafts magazine if I had any new Ink & Flip Stencil designs in the works. And this was one of them and while I was planning my cards for the feature in the magazine (available later this week in the shops), I felt it needed some accompanying sentiments. This inspired the Sparkle Sentiments clear stamp set.

Enough talk, let's have a look at these in action...

I hope you love this stencil as much as I do AND as it is New Year's Day, I'll be giving one set of the stencils away to one lucky comment left on any of the blog posts & or across Uniko's social media posts to win this stencil set.

Happy hopping & see you in 2025!

January 2025 Release - Introducing... Layering Picked Posies Stencil

Hello & Happy New Years Eve

I know it's a super busy time of year with all the celebrations, family & friend time. But I couldn't resist ending the year and starting the New Year with some new products. Hopefully you saw the sneak peeks I shared HERE yesterday, but if not be sure to go check them out.

Today myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors are kicking off the first of the introductions with a lovely, lovely floral layering stencil, Layering Picked Posies Stencil.

You might recognise this floral from the Exclusive CraftStash Picked Posies Collection I did for them back in late 2023. The flowers are unfortunately no longer available and because I know quite a few of you purchased the collection I didn't just want to re-release them here at Uniko. So I got to thinking how I could bring them to you all here, but differently.

Therefore, I bring you a 4 layered stencil that will work perfectly on its own, but will also pair beautifully with the Exclusive CraftStash Picked Posies Collection. Let's have a look at it in action...

I hope you love this stencil as much as I do AND as it is New Years Eve, I'll be giving one set of the stencils away to one lucky comment left on any of the blog posts & or across Uniko's social media posts to win this stencil set.

Happy hopping & see you in 2025!

January 2025 Release Sneak Peeks

Hello & Happy Monday!

I'm starting the week and ending 2024 with Sneak Peeks of the January 2025 Release. Yes, that's right I have a bunch of newness releasing on Sunday 5th January. I don't normally do a new release in January, but a change is as good as a rest, right?

Anyway, enough chat. Let's have a look at the peeks...

First up is a peek at a new fabulous layering stencil. Those who are eagle eyed might recognise what inspired this stencil. AND I know those who came to the Uniko Autumn Stamping Retreat will know what this is, as it was the freebie gift for attending!

Next up is a new Ink & Flip layering stencil. Again, some of you might be eagle eyed and recognise the design. This is a fabulous stencil on its own, but pair it with previously released Uniko products for even more creative options.

This third peek is of another new Ink & Flip layering stencil and one that is going to make your creativity sparkle!

Next is a bonus stencil, I was originally going to save this one for February, but I couldn't resist adding it to this release! A fun new addition to the Mid Century Modern Collection...

Next how about a new addition to the Flower Power series. This floral is perfect for spring. The mix and match possibilities like all across the Flower Power series is endless and the sentiments are sure to be ones reached for time and again.

This sentiment set was born because the second Ink & Flip peek I shared *needed* to shine some more and they just go together like cookies and milk!

This next peek is of a re-introduction of a clear stamp set that was originally released back in August 2013 and I can't even remember when I retired it. However, I have had a few requests to bring it back and I think it has a lot of creative potential. Even more so with how Uniko has grown over almost 13 years.

This final peek is of another addition to a highly popular sentiment series and it fills in some gaps that adds even more options and occasions to use them.

That wraps up the peeks and I am sure there will be something for everyone. I do hope you will find time to join myself and the Uniko Brand Ambassadors from tomorrow as we start the introductions.

Brand Ambassador Inspiration: The Magic of Christmas

  Hello everyone!

Happy Wednesday!

Vinita here again! Merry Christmas to all of you! I hope you all are having a great time 🎄🎅

On this festive day, I made a special festive card today!

I stamped the flower image on an acetate sheet and heat embossed it with Wow opaque bright white EP.
Die cut in a circle shape. Flip over the acetate sheet to the non-embossed side.
I filled some craft glue over a couple of petals. Then I sprinkled a heavy amount of fine glitter powder over the top and shook off the extra. I repeated the process for the rest of the petals and leaves with different glitter colors. I used various shades of red, orange, green and brown. The sentiment is from the same set.

Getting the correct photo with glitter is also a bigger challenge!

One more look at the card:

In person, it is more beautiful!!!

Give this beautiful technique a try, and you will enjoy it!
Happy crafting!

Tuesday, 24 December 2024

 Hello everyone!

Happy Tuesday and Merry Christmas Eve!

Vinita here! Did you see Uniko's Christmas release last month? I loved everything in it. I spent a whole day creating Christmas cards! I picked a few items from this release and mixed and matched them with old ones!

I started by stamping the mehendi mandala design in Jet black archival ink at the top corner representing the Sun in festive colors. I watercolored it with my brush pens. At the bottom corner, I stamped the solid Christmas tree in ombre green DI with its outline image using Jet Black ink.
Then, I added some gifts with a Merry Christmas sentiment. I colored the gifts using acrylic markers. I quickly applied some Bronze Perfect Pearls to the Christmas tree, gifts, and sentiment; it was all magic. The black ink turned into bronze, and I added some bronze splatters.

Here is a close-up image:

I hope I have helped with ideas. This is such a fun way to gift someone.
Will come back again tomorrow!

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy crafting!
