Uniko Studio's 3rd Birthday - February 2015 Release, Reveal & GIVEAWAY!

Hey & SUPER Happy Wednesday!

Today is officially Uniko Studio's 3rd Birthday :) and we have four new products lining the Uniko Studio HQ shelves.

If you've been joining in on the fun since the Sneak Peeks you might want to check HERE to see if you are a mystery prize winner!

Now grab a drink & let's get to the fun and see these new clear stamp sets in full...

Balloon Bash £4.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2015

Balloon Bash is what it is, a set for all occasions that you could have balloons for! It features two solid balloons, two types of string, a double bow, four confetti stamps, a mini balloon and a light reflection accent.

This set can be used easily on it's own, but it coordinates perfectly with all of Uniko Studio's sentiment stamps & the previously released Label Love: Birthday.

Next up we have Classic Numbers...

Classic Numbers £4.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2015

This set coordinates perfectly with the previously released Classic Alphabet. It is a perfect addition to any stampers arsenal of supplies :)

Now a 3rd Birthday Release wouldn't be complete without a new floral set!

Beautiful Blooms II £4.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2015

The next in the Beautiful Blooms series. This modern floral set was initially inspired by vintage lace & features a 3 step stamping option. It's sure to be the new 'go to' set of mine!

Lastly but by no means least we have a sentiment set...

Simply Said Birthday £4.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2015

The next in the Simply Said series to be exact and a whole bunch of birthday sentiments in awesome modern fonts.

Ok, now all the formal introductions have been done, I have a selection of cards using the new sets...

For my first card I had to use Beautiful Blooms II and again the pink & grey colour combo! I went for a darker grey this time though. You can't quite see the sparkle of the leaves on the grey card base, but I used Versamark Dazzle ink to stamp them. The layered flower is also sparkly due to the good coating of Wink Of Stella I put on it!

Next I decided to make a sparkly, colourful confetti / balloon card. Even though I have added pink stars I think this is a fairly masculine card.

That's all I had time to make in time for release day, but as tradition holds we have our release day blog hop, simply visit & comment along the hop by Wednesday 18th February, to be in the chance of winning the ENTIRE release! If you have already purchased any or all of the release a refund will be given. As it is our 3rd Birthday I will also be giving away two more prizes of £10 eGift Certificates.

So, lets see what the AWESOME Design Team have created...

Wishing for BRIGHTER Days!

Hey All!

Thank you to everyone who took the time to stop by yesterday for the February & 1st Birthday Release, your comments & support is very much appreciated :) If you missed out on the fun you can catch up HERE & there is still time to enter the giveaway.

I'm back today to share a couple more projects using some of the NEW products released yesterday. I made these cards on Saturday at the Demo morning at The Paper Lane...

One of the lovely things about butterfly stamps is that they can be used with a variety of stamps! For this first card I decided to pair them with Decorative Doilies - The Hands of Time & added a sentiment from FONTiments - Birthday. I kept the butterfly wings free by only adhering the centre of the butterfly to the card & after I had stamped the butterfly trail I went over it with my quickie glue pen to add some prisma glitter!

This next card pairs BRIGHT Butterflies with Background Builders: Lattice...

I've had this card design stuck in my head for ages and had to make it! Now my brain MIGHT be able to rest at night! The butterfly trails are little flourishes from FONTiment Fancies - Swirls & Flourishes & the sentiment is from FONTiments - Birthday.

I enjoyed dusting off some of my 'older' stamps and pairing them with NEW ones! I have a feeling you will be seeing these butterflies popping up on many a project!

That's all from me today though, there is much to be done in The Studio! There is also another 'Birthday' giveaway going on HERE on Uniko Studio's Facebook page!

Thanks for stopping by today!

February 2013 Release & Reveal!

Hey!

I'm so glad you've stopped by today as today is the day you get to see all the February 2013 Release products in full!

The design team have also done some projects to share with you all using the NEW products and so we have a DT Blog Hop. Uniko Studio has a Guest Designer joining us for this release & is part of the hop today.

More of that in a bit, lets get to the product reveal...

First up is a set I've been itching to release here at Uniko Studio for some time now, I'm a sucker for butterflies! Introducing BRIGHT Butterflies...

BRIGHT Butterflies £4.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2012/13

BRIGHT Butterflies is a NEW sized clear stamp set with a smaller price tag to go along with it! It still packs a punch with 7 stamps and still comes packaged in the DVD style cases.

BRIGHT Butterflies clear stamps coordinate with the previously released BRIGHT Butterflies Additions Collection which has now been revised over on the website...

BRIGHT Butterflies Additions Collection £1.50
Copyright Uniko Studio 2012/13

The BRIGHT Butterflies Additions Collection features 6 digital downloadable patterned papers in lovely BRIGHT colours which match SU! colours.

Next up is the good old Classics digital collection...

Classics Spring £1.50
Copyright Uniko Studio 2012/13

This digital downloadable collection features 6 Classic designs such as Argyle, Plaid & Gingham in lovely Spring Colours. The colours in this collection also match SU! colours.

Next we have the second clear stamp set to be released this month...

Label Love: Birthday £9.95
Copyright Uniko Studio 2012/13

Label Love: Birthday is the next stamp set in the Label Love series. Like the previously released Label Love: Thank you & Label Love: Christmas clear stamp sets there are fun labels in which all the sentiments fit inside & appropriate icons to embellish your creations with a birthday theme. All the Label Love clear stamp sets can be mixed & matched with endless possibilities.

It seemed fitting to release this stamp set this month as it is Uniko Studio's 1st Birthday today after all!!

Continuing the birthday theme I bring you another new digital patterned paper collection...

BIG Birthday Wishes £1.50
Copyright Uniko Studio 2012/13

BIG Birthday Wishes digital patterned paper collection contains 6 patterned papers featuring trendy subway art style typography, bright colours & graphic style papers.

The last product for this release is the next in the Eclectic Mix digital patterned paper collection...

Eclectic Mix £1.75
Copyright Uniko Studio 2012/13

This digital patterned paper collection features 8 designs in lovely Spring colours, also matching SU! colours.

Ok, so that's all the products introduced, how about a few projects...

I couldn't wait to pair the BRIGHT Butterflies with the large graphic flower from Time! I also used some Background Builders: Lattice & FONTiments - Birthday on this card for good measure!

Even though the set is named BRIGHT Butterflies, I decided to go with a neutral colour combo for this card! This card only uses the BRIGHT Butterflies set, it was super simple & fairly mail friendly with just the butterfly slightly raised.

Continuing with the neutral colour combo I created this card next...

I started out by using the holly berries from Label Love: Christmas to create the pattern on the base card. The label & sentiment are from Label Love: Birthday stamped onto a strip of Crumb Cake CS and adhered to the card using foam adhesive. The ribbon is from SU!

That's all the projects from me today, I'll be back to regular daily posts show casing the NEW Releases along with previously released products for the next month! Lol!

Now, it's time for the Design Team Blog Hop! Below is a list of the hop order incase you get lost or there is a broken link along the way!

There will be a prize package of the whole February 2013 Release for one lucky commenter along the hop, so be sure to hop along & most importantly comment along the way! That gives each of you 10 possible entry's into the giveaway!

You have until Weds 13th Feb 9am GMT to comment on the blogs, I will announce the winner later that day here on the blog & Facebook.

Thanks for stopping by!

Leap with some Extra Time!

Happy Leap Day!

I thought it fitting with this extra day this year that I should use some of it to make a card! It's even more fitting using the Extra Time set!

Now, this card isn't my usual CAS kinda style I usually make, but I thought I'd do something a little out of my comfort zone and add a few more layers! There seems to be a lot going on but it quite simple really! And, I only used the Extra Time stamp set for this card stamp wise that is!

I started by using the 'Every MOMENT Counts' sentiment stamp and simply stamped it across a piece of kraft CS using Chocolate Chip ink. I then used some chalk inks to add a lil bit of a distressed edge to finish it off. This was adhered to a Chocolate Chip base card.

I knew I wanted the Clocking In & Out card to be a removable embellishment & one that could have a handwritten note on, so I stamped it onto white CS using Crumb Cake ink and cut it out leaving a small border around the card.

It happens to fit perfectly into the library card holder die cut from PTI, so I die cut this from Kraft CS which I adhered to a mat of Pacific Point CS. I thought the blue was a striking colour against the muted browns & I love blue!

I chose my favourite clock face from the set and stamped it in the Pacific Point ink and used a 1 3/4" circle punch to cut it out. I then used foam pads and adhered it to a scallop die cut. I felt the 'Just BECAUSE' fit nicely with the other 2 I have used and it is nice to send people a 'Just BECAUSE' card which I don't do nearly enough. Shame on me!

I hope that you have enjoyed today's card and take note and 'Make Every MOMENT Count'!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hugs!

Hello Friends!

Hello Friends!

Well, I'm not a 100% but I finally made it into the Studio this afternoon to finish a card I had started before I was ill! It was nice to get back in there but I sure am tired now!

Anyway, I will stop rambling on & show you it ...

It's a super simple card & I have used only the Time stamp set. I had to try out the flowers like Kerry had in this card HERE. I simply stamped the large graphic flower in Raspberry Fizz onto Sweet Blush CS and cut the pointed flower shape out. I then did the same with the medium flower but stamped it with Raspberry Fizz onto Hibiscus Burst CS and cut the pointed flower out. They are adhered together with a foam pad in-between.

The tag is die cut from Kraft CS and mounted on foam pads onto the CS base. I stamped the sentiment along the side of the tag on the base card using Raspberry Fizz it keeps the LO streamlined and is a little quirky than just stamping it horizontally!

I used some foam pads to adhere the flowers to the tag and some gems for the centres and a little bit of Raspberry Fizz satin ribbon to finish it all off. Even though I used foam pads to adhere the embellishments it's not too bulky as they were not thick foam pads so it's fairly mail friendly!

I'm off to do a lil bit more stamp designing before I rest up for the evening!
Thanks for stopping by today!

Uniko Around the World!

Since Uniko Studio stamps launched 2 weeks ago they have been bought & posted to stampers around the world!

I am beyond thrilled at the response to the stamps I have designed and I am SO looking forward to sharing the sets being released SOON, so keep your eyes open & watch this space!

I know I shared a link yesterday to Gayatri's BLOG and creation using Uniko Studio stamps but I thought I'd show you her card here too just incase you missed it!

I just love the POP of blue amongst the kraft cogs, it really draws your focus to the detail of the card.

I have another card to share today by Joan who linked her creation to me via Facebook - don't forget to like the page & follow Uniko Studio there too! You can check out Joan's card on her BLOG too and be sure to check out her other projects & creations!

I love the soft pastel clock faces in the background creating almost a frame for the sentiment. The scalloped black edge and tab of black ribbon add the perfect finishing touches! Lovely!

I'd LOVE to see more creations using Uniko Studio stamps, so either email me a photo or link to your blog and I'll showcase your creations here too!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Uniko Mix

Today I thought I'd pop by and share a card with you that shows how Uniko Studio stamps can co-ordinate with other crafting supplies you might have. One thing I love about paper crafting is how TIME has changed and that things like punches and dies make it so easy to cut & layer up images.

For this card I used my favourite clock face from Extra Time & the cog stamp from Time. I cut stripes of card stock in Aqua Mist, Hibiscus Burst & Hawaiian Shores (PTI) and layer them together and stamped the cog image using Basic Grey Ink from SU!

I then stamped the clock face in Memento Black ink & used a 1 3/4" punch to cut it out. I have mounted this onto Smokey Shadow CS die cut with a Limitless Layer 1 3/4" die from PTI. The sentiment is from PTI's Birthday Bash Sentiments.

Loosely this shows how Uniko Studio stamps can be mixed with those you already have and other supplies you already have in your stash!

I have also used some stripes on my card along with a few PTI goodies so it fits perfectly into the current challenge over on A Passion for Papertrey! Go check the challenge out if you haven't already done so!

Thanks for stopping by today!

You Make My Heart Tick!

Happy Valentines Day!

I thought I show you a lil 3x3 inch card I made for my guy for Valentines Day using the NEW Uniko Studio Stamps!

For this lil card I used the large cog image from the Time Set and stamped in on Basic Grey CS from Stampin' Up! using Basic Grey Ink. I then die cut a heart from Soft Stone CS (PTI) using the Sizzix Dies and stamped one of the clock faces from the Extra Time Set in Real Red ink. I used foam pads to adhere the heart to the card front. I then printed the 'You Make My Heart Tick!' sentiment from my computer and trimmed it into a banner shape. This is also mounted on to the base card using foam pads.

And there you have it a masculine valentines card!

I hope you all have a LOVE filled day!

February 2012 Stamp Set Reveal

The day has finally arrived, I cannot contain the excitement any longer! Below are the two stamp sets in their entirety. Grab a drink and maybe something to munch on while you're introduced to Uniko Studio's Debuting Stamp Sets!

Today Tomorrow & Always Time £15.95

Today Tomorrow & Always Extra Time £15.95

So there you have it, Uniko Studio's debuting stamp sets! what do you think?

Now, I can hear you thinking ... hmmm they're a little pricey. So now I'm going to tell you a little bit about the stamp sets and how they come packaged. You might think differently then!

Uniko Studio Stamps are high quality photopolymer stamps manufactured here in the UK. They are designed by myself & lovingly packaged by myself in my studio - for now anyway! As you can see from the photo above they come all ready to use in these handy dandy DVD type cases. FAB huh?!

All the designs of the stamps contained inside are on the front displayed at 65%. The sets are slightly larger than the common 4 x 6" sets that other companies sell, Uniko sets are approximately 5 1/2 x 8" inch sets. So you're getting a lot more stamp for your money!

The name of the set is along the spine of the case so you can simply store them on a shelf or in a box & see what each set is without having to take each one out individually. Plus the cases are thin and won't take up too much valuable space in your crafting area in the house!

The picture above shows how they look inside the case. They come all placed in the case ready for you to use, no assembly required! The only packaging waste is the cellophane wrapper they come in.

So what do you think now?!

So how about some eye candy?! I have a few projects to share that I have made using the stamps and I'll post some links too so you can pop on over to the Design Teams Blogs to see what they have created. Even I haven't seen what they have done! I got a tiny peek the other day of one of Kerry's creations and I was 'WOWED' beyond words with what she had done!

The card above is one of my favourites! It is because of the clean lines of the card mixed with the round clocks that are so clean and graphic! I also love this colour combination, the splash of red in amongst the black, shades of grey & white really draws your attention!

When I designed this set I wanted it to be clean and graphic orientated towards making cards for men as you all know how hard it is making cards for the men in our lives! I did A LOT of research as to what was on the market & the style & wanted to make mine different! Even though the images are clean & graphic there is no reason why you can't use them in a grungy or vintage way, thats what makes them so versatile!

This card uses just the 'Time' stamp set & is the card that people will be making at the make & take with Uniko Studio at The Paperlane Demo Day today! So, if you're in the area pop along and have a try before you buy!

Now, even though I designed the set to me more masculine I couldn't resist adding a feminine touch to this set to give it more versatility and appeal for the crafter! Below are a few of more feminine cards.

For the above I used the medium & small flower image which appears in the centre of one of the clock faces & simply used my Copic markers to add a splash of colour.

Now for something more colourful to warm you up on this cold February day! Again, I used the smaller flower & stamped it repeatedly in a rainbow of colours. Then adding a small gem to the centres for some sparkle! The ribbon loops at the bottom match the stamped flowers and adds some interest to the card.

Below is one more feminine card. I really love how this one turned out.

I've got one more project to share with you today. As I am a UK company I decided to use the colours of the Union Jack Flag to inspire me.

I hope you have enjoyed the projects I have shared with you today & like the look of the stamps too *WINK*.

Hopefully the website will be up an running so you can purchase them. As I type this post I have a poorly Fiance who is also my website tech guy who collapsed at work today :( so I'm sure you will understand if there is a slight delay.

Anyway, there is still Kerry & Aimes' Blogs to check out so pop on over to them to see what they have whipped up!

If you are in the vicinity of The Paperlane or The Stamp Attic the sets can be purchased at those shops!

Thanks SO much for stopping by, I'd love you to leave me a comment as to what you think about Uniko Studio Stamps!!
