Canadian Mother Charges Adult Son $1,000 For Not Appreciating Her Financial Support

A Canadian Reddit user by the username Chalipo who lives with his parents shared a bill his mom gave to him for being an 'unappreciative assole'. Chalipo's said his mother decided to charge him for all the ways in which she'd been supporting him.

The total bill for the mum's support for the past 13 months summed up to $29,176.09 USD.
The Redditor says he attends school full-time, works part-time, and also has an internship but that his parents have helped him with a roof over his head, working internet, and a stocked fridge.

She also charged him for a fifth share of the house's electricity bill (called Hydro in parts of Canada), the gas bill, internet, and cable etc.

This is an inspiring story of the 'success kid' meme that helped father  raise donations through GoFundMe. In seven days He has successfully raised over $75,000 needed to do his father kidney transplant.

Eight-year-old Sam Griner was once the pudgy-faced, fist-pumping toddler who spawned the Internet meme known as "Success Kid. On the page, the description goes like this 'Justin is a 39 year old father of one in need of a kidney transplant. Please help us reach our goal so that Justin may get the pre-treatments and transplant he desperately needs. His mother died from this disease, please help us write a different story for Justin and his son, Sam'

Now Sam can write his own "Success Kid" meme after his family successfully raised more than $80,000 to help fund a kidney transplant for his father, Justin.

The pair, whose son weighed just 3lbs after being born 11 weeks before his due date, has been told by doctors the newborn will not be able to fly back to the family home in the United Kingdom until March.

Sarah Palin Facebook Photos Of Son Stepping On Dog Trigger Online Outrage

Reuters
Facebook photos posted by Sarah Palin showing her son Trig using the family dog as a step stool unleashed online fury on Friday reminiscent of the public reaction to the disclosure that Mitt Romney had once driven with his dog strapped on the car's roof.

Trig, 6, who has Down Syndrome, is shown stepping on the back of the family's black Labrador while it lies on the kitchen floor in order to reach the sink. The dog appears unruffled.

The Facebook post by Palin, who was the Republican vice presidential nominee in 2008, drew more than 12,000 comments by midday Friday, ranging from cries of animal abuse to those seconding Palin's praise for the youngest of her five children.

"May 2015 see every stumbling block turned into a stepping stone on the path forward," Palin wrote on her Facebook page.

"Trig just reminded me. He, determined to help wash dishes with an oblivious mama not acknowledging his signs for 'up!', found me and a lazy dog blocking his way. He made his stepping stone," Palin wrote.

Ottawa couple son stranded in India after immigration application error

CBC
A couple from India with permanent resident status is fighting to change Canada's immigration laws after being separated from their three-year-old son over what they describe as an application error.
Bhavna Bajaj, who now lives in Ottawa, told CBC News she was pregnant when she and her husband Aman Sood applied for permanent residency in 2011.

By the time the Canadian government accepted their application last year, they had a new son, Daksh.
The couple said their immigration consultant told them to head to Canada and sponsor their son after they arrived.

But Bajaj said once they landed, they were told they had broken the law by not revealing they had a son in India.

"We are crying every day, craving for our child," Sood said.
