This is an inspiring story of the 'success kid' meme that helped father  raise donations through GoFundMe. In seven days He has successfully raised over $75,000 needed to do his father kidney transplant.

Eight-year-old Sam Griner was once the pudgy-faced, fist-pumping toddler who spawned the Internet meme known as "Success Kid. On the page, the description goes like this 'Justin is a 39 year old father of one in need of a kidney transplant. Please help us reach our goal so that Justin may get the pre-treatments and transplant he desperately needs. His mother died from this disease, please help us write a different story for Justin and his son, Sam'

Now Sam can write his own "Success Kid" meme after his family successfully raised more than $80,000 to help fund a kidney transplant for his father, Justin.

Indian Father Attempts to Bury Daughter Alive Because He Disliked Having a Female Child

Indian police have arrested a man for allegedly trying to bury his 9-year old daughter alive in the north eastern state of Tripura, police said on Saturday.

A local police official in Sipahijala District, Uttam Bhaumick narrated the incident to newsmen.

Neighbours alerted the police after they saw Abul Hussain trying to bury his daughter in a pit on Friday in the backyard of his residence in Putia village in Sipahijala district.

A Quebec adventurer who has just returned from a solo trip to the geographic South Pole says his next big adventure will involve trying to be the best father in the world.

Frederic Dion made the trip to the Antarctic on skis and covered 2,100 kilometres in 35 days.

The 37-year-old arrived at Montreal’s Pierre Elliott Trudeau International Airport this afternoon and was welcomed by his wife and two young daughters.

Dion’s trek wasn’t without its challenges, with winds of more than 100 kilometres per hour and temperatures that often plummeted to -50 C.

His sleigh, which contained a tent, sleeping bag and food, broke apart and he also suffered frostbite along the way.

US Father Vows to Leave Case “In Hands of God” After Throwing 5 Year Old Daughter Off Bridge

A 25-year-old Florida-based father, John Jonchuck Jr. is currently being held at a county jail after killing his 5-year-old daughter, Phoebe, by throwing her off a bridge.

CNN reports that during a video hearing, Jonchuck was asked whether he would like a lawyer appointed for him, as he was unable to hire his own lawyer. In response he stated that he did not need a lawyer. “I want to leave it in the hands of God,” he said.

The accused was arrested on Thursday in St. Petersburg, Florida, after police discovered him driving at 100 mph. Officers followed  him, attempting to stop him. He then parked on the Dick Misener Bridge, and the officers ordered him to remain in the car.

Son Murdered Father Over $200 Allowance

The 30-year-old man who allegedly shot and killed his hedge fund manager father Sunday afternoon reportedly did so after an argument over a small cut in his monthly allowance. TheNew York Post reports that Thomas Gilbert Jr. murdered his father Thomas Gillbert Sr. after learning that his allowance had been reduced by $200; the New York Daily News puts the number at $300.

From the New York Post:

"[Gilbert Sr.] was cutting his allowance. He had been giving him $2,400 a month for rent and $600 for spending money, and he was cutting that to $400 a month for spending money," a source said about Thomas Gilbert Sr., founder of the Wainscott Capital hedge fund.

"They had argued about it before."

Diran Lin lost everything when he lost his son, Jun Lin. Now, the only consolation the grieving father will settle for is knowing why Luka Magnotta chose to murder the Concordia University student.

"What he did was very cruel," Diran Lin said on Monday morning in Montreal.

He addressed the media with the help of a translator, nearly one week after Magnotta was handed a guilty verdict for killing the 33-year-old Chinese student in 2012.

He said he still hoped to meet Magnotta in person to ask him why he killed Lin.
"I have nothing to say to him. He’s a beast. He’s worse than a beast. But I just want to ask him why he did this," Diran Lin said.

He commended the Canadian legal system and Judge Guy Cournoyer for finding Magnotta guilty of first-degree murder.

It was a stunning allegation from the mouth of his little girl.

Robert Ireland’s foster daughter, whom he cared for in his seaside B.C. home for nearly a decade, made allegations of sexual assault against him shortly after she left in 2012, when she was in her early teens.

Her claim, investigated by police, never led to a charge or conviction. But it remains on his record, continues to undermine his ability to work and support his family and has changed the former police officer’s life for good.

“I was devastated,” says Ireland, 64, a married father of one daughter, another adopted girl and former foster parent to several children over the years, including the accuser and her brother.

Teen Strangled & Skinned After Planning To Tell Mother, Step Father Has Been Assaulting Her

The body of a  19-Year Old  teenage student nurse has been found lying beside a road after she had been killed and then skinned. Kassandra Bravo, 19, from Uruapan, Mexico, is reported by excelsior.com.mx to have told friends in a Facebook post that her stepfather had sexually assaulted her and also accused him of murder - which he denies.

She vanished on December 3 and her mother Angeles, 41, raised the alarm when she did not turn up at a babysitting job with family friends.

Police issued a missing person notice for the teenager and three days later, her body was discovered lying beside a road near the village of Las Cocinas, between Uruapan and Los Reyes.

A post-mortem revealed she had been strangled until she passed out and then skinned.
