Snowman Season Gift Card Holder

This is the post I wanted to do Friday... but Google was not working for me... sorry!

Today I wanted to share a quick gift card holder .... it's an envelope for a 3 1/2 by 2 1/2 card... made with the retired envelope maker... most of you have it... so pull it out and make small envelopes that use up some of the DSP

I stamped the snowman in StazOn ink onto the glimmer paper... with the help of the stamparatus I was able to stamp the image multiple times to get a nice dark, crisp line! The nose was colored very gently with the Stampin' Blends marker in dark Pumpkin Pie... (more of a dabbing as to not fray the pen!)

Guest Designer Series, part 10

Theresa Wade is back  with another cute project for us! She also did a some "CASE"-ing LOL

Tag Card:
  • Around the Corner Stamp Set pg 157  (sorry the one image is a little blurry)
  • Ink used: Melon Mambo, Daffodil Delight, and Bermuda Bay.
  • Copied from sample card pictured at the bottom of page.  I didn't have the DSP paper so I used one of the stamps to make the repeated pattern on the pink paper.  Another way to use the 3x3 enveopes.  Used Story Label punch, folded in half to make tag.

Happy Birthday Thinlit

The Happy Birthday thinlit makes some really fast cards... Today I just used it on the front of a card with pretty DSP as the 'star"...

This card is a tri-fold card, which has a pocket for a gift card on the inside

The piece of DSP is 5 1/4 by 12... and is scored at 4 and 8 to created the panels... then it was backed onto a quarter sheet of CS (= 5 1/2 by 4 1/4). I also added a piece of Vanilla CS on the inside (5 by 3 3/4) for a personal message...

The basic black gift card pocket (2 1/2 by 3 7/8) is added to panel with mini dimensionals on 3 sides so the gift card can slide in and out easier...

Butterfly Beauty - Gift Card

I got a request for a gift card for one of my lovely customers and decided to make a little envelope using the pretty  Sale-a-Bration DSP "Botanical Butterfly". Here is the closed view:

And here from the inside:

The gift card is attached with a dimensional so it can be removed fairly easy from the paper and then the paper can be used again for another project... Same with the butterfly closure!

Labels to Love - Gift Card holder

Today I wanted to share another gift card holder, that you can make in no time! It's not to late if you need one for let's say in the morning... I'll explain below

Here is a second, little more masculine version

And here is the inside:

The pocket on the right holds the gift card (large card board type enclosed Visa/Debit card), and on the left side is a piece of cardstock that holds a message

How to:

1) Cut a piece of DSP to 5 1/2 by 12
2) place horizontally into score tool and score at 4 and 8
3) fold right corner down to almost meet the score line, see:

4) adhere that corner
5) add liquid glue to right and bottom like this:

6) fold over to create the pocket

7) Decorate outside and don't forget to add the gift card ;-)
