Butterfly Gala and Florentine embossed

I've been working on my club Thank You cards and thought I might want to do a video (scroll all the way down to watch) on how to texture with framelits and the embossing mats. Here is one version of the card....

Blizzard ... 2 ways

I know, I know... we all don't even want a blizzard one way ... but on this card the Blizzard thinlit was used 2 ways ...

I used the embossing mats to texture the galvanized cardstock with the snowflakes. Then sponged some black StazOn ink over it lightly to give it a bit more dimension... And I also die-cut some snowflakes from glimmer paper and added those for decoration...

Detailed Dragonfly, textured

I think I may be addicted to texturing with our thinlits now... I just love how the embossing mats make our thinlits even more versatile!

I spritzed the background with some Wink of Stella and also Bermuda Ba ink... Then I was going to add some of our pretty glitter enamel dots, but the ones in Coastal Cabana were too light... So I used my dark Bermuda Bay Stampin' Blends marker and colored right over them before removing from the plastic sheet.
