Adventurous Journey

The other week I need a Birthday card for our friend whom we go kayaking with...so I thought this little creation was in order

This background was another piece I had done with the shaving cream technique during our online meeting. This technique is so much fun!

Oh and I added some clear embossing to the the tips of the paddles to make them look wet... of course you can't see this in the picture...

Hippest Hippos

Oh MY - I knew the "Hippest Hippos" from the free Sale-a-Bration selection were cute "as is" but then someone had the brilliant idea to make them into cows!  

Look at my lil cutie:

I applied white craft ink onto the texture folder before texturing the white CS. Then I heat set it and sponged black ink only onto the raised texture to create some added depth.

Sailing Home

Today's card is a masculine card - we always need those but are sometimes harder for me to come up with. But I do like how this one came together...

The background paper was done with Stampin' Blends markers and 91% alcohol (NOT 70%!) on Vellum cardstock... I will share a little video soon!
