We are thrilled to have Teri Anderson on the Blog today, with her amazing projects using our brand new stickers. Teri is an accomplished paper crafter and Paper Crafts Magazine editor - you'll love her fresh approach to card making with SRM!



I'm Teri Anderson. I am a 30-something, camera toting, travel loving, John Mayer fan. I'm a long-time paper crafter and scrapbooker. I've crafted since I was a kid and kept a scrapbook since high school, but I really caught the bug bad when I moved away to a small town after college where I knew no one. It was a great way to get to know folks and to keep my mind off my real world job. Paper crafting came for me during that time. I am currently one of the Go-to Gals and contributing editors for Paper Crafts magazine. I'm on several design teams. I have spent a good chunk of the last year teaching at conventions across the country for Technique Tuesday. When I am not crafting, I am: spending lots of time with family; heading to the beach; spoiling my two fluffy dogs; going to concerts and taking lots and lots of pictures.

SRM Stickers, for me, are like the little black dress of paper crafting supplies. They are practical and they are timeless. They are something everyone can use. Scrapbook pages and cards always need words, and there are a whole lot of word stickers from SRM. I dig them because you can grab a sheet of them, pull off a sticker, slap it on card and be done. It doesn't get better than that.

Fancy Christmas Cards by Elizabeth

Elizabeth Carney used our new Christmas Fancy Sentiments to get a head start on her holiday cards. For this project she created a card with coordinating ornament. What a treat it would be to receive this duo at Christmastime!

Lucky Charm

Elizabeth Carney doesn't normally work with green, but she had fun assembling a Lucky Charm Card using our new Quick Card, "Lucky". Elizabeth used all three Quick Card stickers for a 'charming' St. Patrick's Day Card.

Halloween Candy Jar by Amy

Amy Crockett had an empty jar floating around her craft room, just waiting to be altered. She used her Cricut machine to create die cuts and a tag, assembled them together with our new Halloween stickers, and filled the jar with Tootsie Rolls. So fun!

Holiday Cards by Rae

Rae Barthel is back again today with a collection of holiday cards using our new "Merry" We've Got Your Sticker line. Rae employed a simple formula of a colored SRM greeting sticker fashioned into a banner, a matted image sticker, and glittery die cut.

Mini Desk Calendar by Rae

Rae Barthel came up with a clever Mini Desk Calenda using our new standard Mini Calendar stickers;



Rae started with a 4" x 6" acrylic frame that she purchased for under $1 at Walmart. She trimmed the patterned papers and placed them inside the frame. She then adhered each month sticker to a coordinating piece of patterned and punched a two holes at the top. Gem brads were placed in the holes. The mini calender is adhered to the acrylic frame with pop dots, which allowed a ribbon bow to be tied around the frame.

Renee Morris-Dezember has been having fun with our Tubes. We recently introduced Mini Tubes and Renee combines Mini Tubes with a Standard Tube for a cute collection. Renee used "Wishing You Well" Sticker sentiments for today's project;

Mini Calendar Projects by Christine

Christine Traversa is here with a fun way to use our new Mini Calendar stickers!



Christine used an empty tin she had in her stash. Using a pencil and some upside down patterned paper, she traced around the edges of the upper lid. She then cut along the lines, and adhered the paper to the lid. She trimmed a border strip from piece of coordinating patterned paper, and glued it on top.

For the inside of the tin, again, she traced onto the back of patterned paper and trimmed it to fit into the tin. To make the piece a bit more decorative, she added another coordinating paper, backed with black cardstock.

For the calendar itself, she took all 12 stickers and backed them onto white cardstock, trimming close to the calendar's edges. Christine mounted them onto black cardstock and cut them into a square shape.

Christine punched each black square in the upper left corner with a small hole punch, and placed a locking ring through all the holes, closing the ring. She mounted the back most page (December) into the tin using foam tape for extra security. Onto the ring, she placed a trimmed strip of coordinating paper, made to look ribbon-like with scissors.

What a fun way to create full-year mini calendar! And...here's a greeting card created by Christine, using Mini Calendar stickers;

Of course! We have a wonderful assortment of Halloween stickers that you can view and purchase HERE. The Designers have been doing thier magic! Melanie Jarocki filled mini tubes with orange TicTacs and decorated them with our brand new Quick Card set, "Boo";

Birthday Banner Tutorial by Melanie

One of Melanie Jarocki's favorite ways to showcase SRM Stickers on a project is with a banner -- they add a fun, dimensional touch, and are simple to make!

Supplies: SRM Happy Birthday stickers, 3 sheets of patterned paper, white cardstock and epoxy stickers.



Place the sentiment sticker on white or light cardstock. Trim around sticker edges. Cut dark patterned paper to mat sentiment on. Cut a strip of patterned paper 1/2" wider than mat, and 4 inches longer.



Score the larger strip 1-3/4" inches in from each end and fold back.



After folding ends back, reverse fold them forward starting 1/8" from top and angle the fold so the bottom edge is about 1/4" from the first fold. Put ends together and trim out a "V" for the banner edges.



Place glue dots on the bottom of the folds and 1/8" dimensional squares on the main banner section.



Add the banner to your project. Be sure to place the dimensional adhesives on first, and the tuck the folded edges under to really make the banner pop.



Banners are great for cards, layouts, and gift bags... Have fun!
