See the pattern here: Chocolate Bars quilt pattern.

Quilter's Plaid - The first quilt pattern of 2022!

I love the plaid vibe of this quilt! The dark, light and medium values from my stash play well together and give a nice translucent look. This easy pattern can turn stash into gifts for loved ones fast.

You could make it scrappy or use some repeating fabric squares in horizontal or vertical rows as I've done in this sample quilt. The number of squares that are repeated vary.

See this pattern in my Etsy shop here: Quilter's Plaid. Instant download, start creating now!

Moonlight, a Strip Quilt and Pattern

"Moonlight" is my most recent quilt finish. The (Kona Ash Gray) sashing color gives a moonlight look to this quilt. And I love the piano keys. Using only two strips rather than four, and placing them asymmetrically adds a little modern whimsy. I used the same striped fabric for backing and binding. You can see the striped binding in the photo above. And here are some detail photos below. Pattern coming soon on Etsy. I'll keep you posted.

Interweave Quilt Pattern

Are you sewing your stash in 2019? (see over 3,000 pics at #sewingmystash on Instagram) Here's an interesting scrap pattern to consider: Interweave. Fun to make. I'm listing this finished quilt in my Etsy shop as well.

I hope you are all staying warm, especially in the Midwest USA. Polar vortex, go away!

Big Star Quilt and Pincushion Winner!

I made this string quilt using a big diamond ruler. The larger triangles were made with the help of some paper "patterns." Machine quilted by Linda Aquavia of New Hartford, CT.

I couldn't resist including some cherries and a sock monkey. See the black and white print above? I put it next to the darkest darks to get some high contrast at the star points to make the star pop.

The winner of the sea urchin pincushion is Liz from East Berlin, CT. (I don't already know Liz; she was random #17.) Yayy, Liz! More giveaways coming soon.
