Puff Quilts

Have you ever made a Puff quilt? (Also known as a Biscuit or Bubble quilt.) I haven't made one yet, but these quilts are definitely tempting me.

This pretty ruffled baby quilt above is from katielolson on Etsy.

Another baby quilt, this one is from Moonpatch in Portugal. These puffs appear to have more stuffing in them than in the pink quilt.

This one has a very different look: a loosely filled, ruffled baby quilt from Awaiting Ada on Etsy.

I like this version with buttons from Honey Bear Lane. She calls it "Hard Candy."

And here's one in a circle shape from Pinterest

This crocheted version is from Andrea at Craft Disasters. She describes how to make it in her post.
This one is definitely not a disaster. It looks dreamy soft!

Puff Quilt and How-To Video

This puff quilt was made by Katie Olson of Serendipity Studio in Washington. It measures 46" x 38." She used a soft, minky fabric. The ruffle is a nice touch too. They're also called bubble, biscuit, or Yorkshire puff quilts.
There is a video by Rose Smith on You Tube showing how to make a puff quilt.
Have you ever made one? I haven't, but it looks like fun.
