My Closeted Music!!

Courtney over at One Fine Wire posed this today: "I think everyone has some favorite music that is closeted. Now, what do I mean by closeted? A cd that no one knows you actually bought. The music that only you, yourself, and yourself listen to. The kind of music that you don't tell anyone that you listen to, but yet you sing your heart out in the car. The kind of music you sing with a hair brush raised to your mouth as a microphone, in front of the mirror...but yet, nobody else knows about it!"

She lists Nsync, Celine Dion and a few others as her closet likes. So, Ok. Here are mine:

Hairspray really I listen to alot of musicals. I have Funny Girls, Jesus Christ Superstar, HSM3 on my ipod right now!!!

Amanda Marshall I have I think three albums on the ipod right now!!! You might have heard her is you watched Touched By an Angel!!!

Ok, Now Queer as Folk not only did I never miss an episode and own the first three on DVD (at a 100 bucks plus for the series, I have to save and we all know right now I have more important things to save for, but soon I shall own all five sasons!!) Anyway, I love the techno and Cyndi Lauper!

The Temptations ok this might not count because who really doesn't digg Motown? I also the Four Tops and The Supremes.

And I have saved the best for last: Bette Midler! I have everything she has done. I have seen her in concert twice (not Vegas because well tix are way to expensive for me - see above!! Heehee!)

The Temptations

Last Saturday was a free concert at the park. Palmdale does this every summer and a couple of years ago built this beautiful outdoor theater to stage them. I've seen America, Daryl Worley, The Village People (don't giggle, it was fun!) and this year, The Temptations!! Ok, so I was the only one of my family to be excited about it!!! As you can PLAINLY see here.But the sunset was beautiful and the park was filled to capacity!!!! And then the Tempatations hit the stage!!!! It was great - although I did manage to tick some guy off - because I was dancing (for goodness sake at an outdoor concert!!!) and he coudln't see! Whatever - it was a free outdoor concert!!!! Move!!!!



They were great!!! I have done some knitting and crocheting!! Pictures as soon as I charge up the camera batteries!!!! And school a week from Monday!!! Two classes!!! Yippeee!!!
