Fitness Update

Honey and I have now completed four weeks of our 90 day plan!! Have not missed a day all month. Even while she was down with a nasty flu, she did a hour on the treadmill! Really, really slow - but she did it! Better then I would have, because if I got sick - I'm in bed!!! Weigh in is next week, hopefully there will be some weight loss!! The Olympics are almost here!
Which means those of us on Ravelry are gearing up for:Here is how it works: We cast on during the opening ceremony and the goal is to cast off during the closing ceremonies! And we are supposed to do something somewhat challenging!
I still have no idea what pattern to tackle!
Any ideas?

Week One - Day Seven Done!!

Honey and I have started a 90 day challenge towards better health. We are doing something for our health everyday for 90 days. At the end we are going to reward ourselves with a bodybug (her) and skechers (me!)

Her bodybugg is already on its way! Hmmmm....

Anyway, we started January 1st. Yup we walked between football games. Since then we either walk, we are up to 4.6 miles!, or we hit the gym for weight work! Do I feel better? Nope. I ache, mostly my hips. But I think that is because I have been so inactive for so long! And I am hurting less and less. 90 days ends April 1st! Wish us luck!

Day One of 90 Days To Better Health!!

The goal of our family at Casa de Max for 2010 is to create new healthy habits. We have a goal of excerising in some form everyday for 90 days. Day One 01-01-10 we walked, ok they walked us, the dogs in between football games. We took them out into the desert so they could smell rabbits, squirrels, coyotes, snakes and whatever else is out there.

The huskies loved it, Gibbs not so much!! Max is wearing a backpack with emergency gear in it! Water, bandages, poopbags! The kids want to put a GPS thing in it in case we get lost. Lost, surrounded by housing tracks on all sides. We are never out of sight of homes or the rock quarry! My kids kill me!

Day Two and we are heading out to watch Avatar and then hit the gym!!

The sunrise. What a beautiful and hopeful start to 2010!
