Disneyland and trouble on the freeway.......

So, Disneyland is in full Halloween mode. It is beautiful. I love Disneyland.  We went out of our comfort zone and went on rides we hadn't in a long time and ate were we normally don't eat.

I was also on on a hidden mickey mission. This one is on the space mountain ride. The speakers on the back form a hidden mickey.
We are at Disneyland alot so I try to take shots of things you don't normally see. This picture is from the Matterhorn.

Día de los Muertos!!!

A hidden mickey. At the Horseshoe! It took me a long time to see it, even though it is right in front and center of the stage!!!

Billy Hill and the Hillbillys. A new show for us! And we had the best chocolate cake ever!!

The Haunted Mansion is decked out!! Jack is back!!!

My camera is so cool! I got this shot while on the ride!! Jack is standing where the old man and his shaking dog usually stand!!!
These looked so good but not ten dollars good!!

The pumkin carvings were amazing!!!
 Honey with Jesse and Woody!!!
This is actually over at California Adventure. We stayed for the World of Color show! It was awesome!!

On the way home, we were tired but we had had a great day!! Looking forward to getting home, we were driving along talking about our day and I stopped for traffic (love LA - they work on the roads 24/7 and therefore there is ALWAYS traffic) well, the guy behind me didn't stop until he hit me!! OMG!! Are you kidding me? That is Honey's biggest fear - the other guys on the road not paying attention!! Other then my nerves were shattered and some minor damage to the bumper we were ok. His car on the other hand....is jacked up!!! His front is smooshed and his windshield is cracked, airbag deployed, windows wouldn't work!(I should have taken pictures but I really wasn't thinking!) I keep hearing the impact and the drive home was the longest, scariest ride ever!!! I have to force myself into the car to drive. I know this is so overreacting and yet I cannot help myself!! My first thought was I am never leaving my house again! It is too scary out there!! But that is not realistic, so outside I go!!
I hope everyone has a great week!!

A brief recap....with lots of pictures.......

Honey decided I needed a day off. So, we headed to Disneyland. And rode the ferris wheel. Which is really, really, really big. And goes way high up in the air. Scared me to death. Something I am glad I did once and never, ever have to do again!!!!!! I was looking for hidden Mickeys and found two. One is on the Toy Story ride, which is hugely fun.

And I beat Honey!! Took an shot of the win to just to prove it!!! I am (obviously) Player Two!!!!
Did I mention how freakin' tall is the ferris wheel?

The second hidden Mickey!!!
We were in Burbank for a baesball game and afterwards went to Bob's Big Boy for dinner. We walked past a theatre and this is what is playing!!! I love the tagline!!!
The boys are back....and this time they're singing!!!!

Mater came for an overnight visit so, of course I had to take some shots!! He will be one on the 16th!!! I cannot believe I have been a grandma for a whole year!!!! Holy Moly!!!!
Yup, he is walking!!!! Talking, not so much!!! Cute? Absolutely!!!!
Flea and I went to Littlerock Dam for an afternoon. And we had a blast!!! I even climbed a tree and jumped!! The picture below is Flea NOT me! Hahaha!

We had so much fun!!! I think we are going to go back again this week!!!

Disneyland (Image Heavy!!!)

Well, the rain has stopped for a few days so what is a person supposed to do? Head to Disneyland of course!! And California Adventure! It was AWESOME! Not crowded, not too clod, not too hot! Just perfect!
It was our first trip to California Adventure. Disney is doing alot of construction on both parks, but it was still very fun! The Soaring above California was amazing!
Of course, we had sourdough bread bowls (I had clam chowder and Honey had chili!) on the pier!

Can I just tell you, the Tower of Terror is the best ride EVER! I really don't know what I was expecting, but man oh man!!! Scary but not panic inducing! The best of both worlds!

I get so hungry at Disneyland! Ok really who doesn't? I did not succumb to these lovelies, and only had a SMALL cupcake!

I really want to do this somewhere in my house or yard. I just love the bits and pieces!

My Honey in front of the honey! Heehee!

Waterfalls are so cool!

Potato head!!!

The Tower of Terror sign! (obviously!)

Sourdough WILL be the death of me! I love it!

California Adventure boardwalk! Caught someones ball midair! I wouldn't be able to do that again! :)

The Ferris wheel - this is as close as I get! It looks like a lot of fun for other people! And it is beautiful!

In the Bug's Life area the benches are made of Popsicle sticks!

We stayed for the parade and it was soooooooo worth it!! I think it was the best parade I have seen in a long time! It was a celebration/dance theme and it was so much fun! Rather then just move along, it stopped and did its thing for about a half hour and then moved along!!! It got the whole crowd involved and moving!

Plus it was so colorful!

We bought a book on the hidden mickeys and traded pins and giggled because we had no kids with us! I mean we love going with our kids and next week we are taking two! But sometimes it is so fun not to have the kiddies with you, to just enjoy the park at our pace! We use the phrase - all "funed" out!!!

We ended up being all funed out but (surprise) we got over ten thousand steps in and walked over five miles over the day!! Yay us!!! Thanks for sticking with this really picture heavy post!!!
