Split Vase Mini Slimline Duo - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created recently for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. It has been fun pulling out some of our older sets, and pairing them up with the new ink colors like this - and how fun is it to get a two for one design with one stamped and stenciled piece?!? You can watch the video replay HERE if you want to see more details and watch this card come together.

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

For these cards, I heat embossed the lovely image from Inky Bouquet, and blended deep shades of some of the new ink colors in with the coordinating layering stencils. I die cut, then got really brave and cut the panel in half, so I could create a duo of mini slimline cards. I added some framing using Mini Slimline Frames, and a mix of Champagne foil cardstock, ivory, and soft blue, and a mix of foam adhesive, and a tape runner. I added texture to the two inner frames using Floral Tiles coverplate die and Dotted Scallops coverplate die. Sentiments were stamped in Detail black, and I adhered those and a few of the new (soon to be released!) Color Drops to embellish after the live. Here are lots more photos of these finished cards:

Sending Hugs Flower Cards - Simon Says Stamp Season of Wonder Release

Good morning! I'm here with a couple more cards using some of the NEW Season of Wonder Release from Simon Says Stamp. For these cards I featured a new stamp set, and an older stencil set.

I used one of the cute little florals from Fresh Air Fall Flowers - a cute little layering stamp set. I used some fresh spring colors of Guava, Pucker, and Pearfection - which I thought was super fun with a fall floral set! I stamped a sentiment from the stamp set in black. then trimmed those panels down, adding a torn edge on the top and the bottom for texture. On the cardbase, I used the Brush Strokes stencil and the same colors I used for the florals, varying the colors on each, as well as which brush stroke from the stencil on each stripe. I popped the front panel up with foam adhesive, and finished off with a few Iridescent Clear Drops from Pinkfresh Studio for a bit of sparkle! Here are some more photos of these cards, and a closer look at each one:

Pinkfresh Studio September 2023 Ink Release

Good morning! Today is finally the day! We are having a blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's September 2023 Ink Release! We have a new rainbow of 24 ink colors that have been forever in the works (available in full size, cube, and refills), a fabulous white pigment ink - as well as some gorgeous ink cube storage boxes sized to hold either 48 cubes, or 72 to cover all the new colors plus the old ones

You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! You can find links to all of the new release items I used on today's cards at the bottom of this post!

I've got lots of cards to share today - I've been creating lots with this new release! First up - I have this card that uses some of ALL the new color families all on one card - I love how well they work together!

I was super excited to pull out the Butterflies set - it had been quite a while since I had used it. I hot foiled it, and then used a mix of colors to hit all the rainbow order of the new inks. I used the following new ink colors for this: Peony, Begonia, Sunkissed, Mimosa, Hydrangea, Opulence, Limoncello, Citron, Spruce Tips, Lush Forest, Turquoise, and Paradise. I used the Blanket Stitch Slimline and Mini Slimline die to create my background, and added some texture with the Curvy Foliage die, cut several times and layered over. Sentiment is a mix of a hot foiled sentiment from Phrase Builder: Hello, and a sentiment from Best Thing stamp set. I finished off with LOTS of coordinating Glitter Drops, adding several to the butterflies, and also underneath the sentiment, and in the upper and lower corners. Here are some more photos of this card - keep scrolling to see details for the next card!

Next up, I focused on the lovely orange and deeper green families of inks.

For this card, I pulled out an older set again, called Floral Bunch. This one I stamped in Warm Buff ink, then ink blended with the following new colors: Sunkissed, Mimosa, Mango Sorbet, Fruit Punch, Eucalyptus, and Spruce Tips. I layered that die cut in an Ornate Oval, die cut from ivory glitter cardstock, and trimmed off the extra on the bottom right, tucking a bit of it in the upper left corner so it didn't go to waste. I added some Small Butterflies, heat embossed in white on vellum, a Prefoiled Sentiment, and a few Metallic Gold Pearls to finish off. Here are more photos of this card:

Next up - a little focus on the pinks and lighter yellow/green inks!

For this card, I used Blooming Branch, heat embossed in gold, then ink blended with Cherry Blossom, Peony, Begonia, Mulberry Blush, Citron, and Spanish Moss. I love the way these feel fresh and spring like cherry blossoms! I added the bird cage from Best Thing die set, cut from glitter cardstock, then decided to add some more of the Small Butterflies leftover from the first card - so maybe it's a butterfly cage? I added a prefoiled sentiment, some more gold pearls, a bit of twine tied at the top, and this card was done! Here are more photos of this one:

Next up, mixing the pinks, oranges, and the lighter shades of the deeper green tones!

For this one I used the Happy Dance set, stamped in Rocky Slope ink, then blended with the stencils in: Sunkissed, Mimosa, Mango Sorbet, Peony, Begonia, Sage, and Eucalyptus. I used a panel with a die cut circle from Nested Circles, and added one of the last of those little Small Butterflies from the previous cards. Sentiment is from Basic Banners: Celebrate, and I finished off with a few Pixie Dust ombre glitter drops. Here is a closer look at this card:

This next card features the lovely purples that are part of this release, as well as more of those deeper greens.

For this card I used Pretty Blossoms, the hot foil version. I ink blended the stencils with Sheer Freesia, Wisteria, Hydrangea, Spruce Tips, and Lush Forest, then die cut with the coordinating die. I added a frame with Stitched Scallop Rectangles die. Sentiment was created with Phrase Builder: Hello, and I added a few Sparkling Champagne pearls to finish off. Here is a closer look at this card:

And finally - this card proved hard to photograph and capture the colors - I think I was losing my light by this time. But this is featuring some of the pretty new turquoise tones, as well as a bit of the pink and oranges.

For this card I used the Folk Floral Print stencils, and blended in Waterfall, Paradise, Sunkissed, Mango Sorbet, and Cherry Blossom. Sentiment is prefoiled for this one - and I added some sparkly Iridescent Clear Drops, as well as a few more of those butterflies to this card! Here are more photos of this final card:
