Reverse Confetti 7th Birthday Release Blog Hop

Good morning! I'm excited to be joining in with a special blog hop to celebrate the slightly delayed (but totally worth the wait!) 7th birthday with Reverse Confetti! I have two cards to share with you using new releases!

For my first card - I used the beautiful new Bowl of Blooms stamp set!

I colored it in with watercolors, then die cut with the Coordinating Dies. I also added some white splatters.

Finally, I masked off a line on my white cardbase. blended a bit of Pumice Stone Distress Oxide Ink over it, then removed the mask and added the floral arrangement with foam adhesive, stamping the sentiment underneath.

Next up, I'm sharing a card using the freebie with this release, Friendly Rainbow!

I thought it would be fun to split the images in two different corners of a white cardbase. I stamped all of them off the edge of the card to add movement.

I stamped the striped clouds with Iced Aqua Ink, and stamped the solid letters with Pistachio ink.

Added some Copic marker to color in the rest of the rainbow, as well as add some shading to the solid stamped letters - then coated the letters with a good coat of Glossy Accent.

I stamped my sentiment tucked in the clouds, and also added Glossy Accents to the white clouds to finish off!

Here is the entire blog hop listing so you don't get lost along the way:

Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Fall Watercolor Card Duo

Good morning! Happy STAMPtember - I know it is coming to an end soon, but it's still September, so it still counts! Can you believe how fast this month went? I just got back earlier this week from a two week trip to Italy - so I'm adjusting to the colder weather, different time zones (hello jet lag!), and getting back into the routine of things. But fall is one of my favorite seasons, so I don't mind at all! And I'm grateful to be home for the last tiny bit of STAMPtember! Woohoo! Today I'm sharing a couple cards made with the NEW STAMPtember Release from Simon Says Stamp - I actually made these before I left, and didn't have time to get my post written up in the pre-trip flurry of activity! These use the beautiful pre-printed Suzy's Fall Watercolor Cards!

I colored them in two different ways. This first one, I used my Daniel Smith watercolors, then added a layer of sparkle over the leaves with my Nuvo Glitter Pen. I also coated some of the letters and the acorns with Glossy Accents for additional texture.

The second one I colored with Distress Inks in Fired Brick, Carved Pumpkin, and Mustard Seed - starting off with some distress ink smooshing, then layering on some additional color layers using the same colors of ink! I also added a splatter of white using Copic Opaque White medium for nice, thick, and opaque white droplets.

I trimmed both panels with Stitched Rectangles, matted with a bit of white cardstock, then mounted on kraft cardbases!

Dino Birthday Wishes - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Dropping by today with a super simple little birthday card that I created recently using one of the adorable prints from the Suzy's Watercolor Prints - Celebrate Dads from Simon Says Stamp! Isn't it fun that there is a birthday print included, as well as lots for Father's Day?

This was one of several of these that I took out on my back porch and watercolored - perfect way to spend a beautiful summer afternoon!

Later when it dried, I trimmed the panel down, matted with a bit of green cardstock, then mounted on a white cardbase. I also added a few details with some Copic Opaque White medium - it stands out so nice over the watercolors!
