New Little Critter Baby Shower Invitations

Good morning! Dropping by to share some baby shower invitations I made with a friend earlier this week! SOOOO happy with how they turned out! The shower is going to be woodland animal themed for a little boy - so these adorable Avery Elle Storybook and More Stories stamp sets were perfect! We were also able to achieve a flat and easy to mail design! YAY!

We made 8 each of 3 different designs. The sentiments were printed from the computer, trimmed into a banner, and with a bit of distress ink applied to soften the colors a bit. Each critter was stamped on watercolor paper, softly colored in, then cut out. We layered some older Authentique papers that I had in my stash (no idea what lines - I just have lots of them and have saved them specifically for things like this!) - and added some messy stitching on the bottom to ground the images. The woodgrain paper is also some older Avery Elle stuff that I had in my stash from a while back, but I believe is discontinued. Would be easy to reproduce with am embossing folder and kraft cardstock though I imagine. We adhered the animals with strong adhesive, but only in the centers. This allows for a bit of dimension, while still keeping the flat design easy to drop in the mail.

Anyway - here is a closer look at each of the designs:

And here are links to as many of the supplies as I could link to - thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful weekend!

Unity Tuesday Hop with Videos - HUGE release, SALE, and GIVEAWAY

Good evening!!! Super excited you're here - we have lots of fun things going on with Unity Stamps tonight! There is a Facebook Event with chatting, games, and prizes - you can check that out HERE!

I have a set of four cards to share using one of the new kits - and TWO videos sharing two different techniques I used on this set - each video is super short, so you have plenty of time to watch them! First up in yellow - and the video shows how to do an ombre watercolor technique (I used Peerless watercolors for all of these):

Here is the video:

LOVE how bright and happy the yellow is! This one was die cut with Lil' Inkers Side Stitched Rectangles

Next up, in blue - and the video shows how I used Glossy Accents and glitter to sparkle up all of these cards!

And here is this video:

This one was die cut with Wplus9's Sunshine Layers Die - isn't that blue so super vibrant with the sparkles?!?!?

Then we have it in red - same two techniques as above:

This one was die cut with Lil' Inker's Stitched Mats: Squares - each card has some coordinating washi tape tucked behind the layers - just for a bit of fun interest!

And finally - a beautiful purple color!

This one uses Lil' Inker's Stitched Mats: Circles - each one is also mounted on a woodgrain cardstock base.

Here is the set I used on all of these cards - would be beautiful for Scrapbooking or Project Life as well!

Here are a few peeks at other cards I made using the new releases - I will be posting these (each with a Quick Tip Video!!!) over the next couple of days in more detail...but wanted to give you a little look in case you were on the fence about ordering any of them and I could enable you a bit! :)

And of course, the SALES!!! AMAZING sales this week - make sure and check it all out!

Here is the rest of the links for the Design Team - make sure and visit everyone to see the new stamps in action!
