Green Camper Van

I have another small notecard made with a Mouseloft kit - this is 'Green Camper Van'.  After completing the stitching I mounted the fabric behind a frame I made from cream hammer using two stitched square dies.  The framed stitching was then attached to a cream hammer card blank.

Black, White and One Colour

I was over the moon to be the winner of the CAS on Friday Christmas Challenge and was invited to be Guest Designer on their 'Black, White and One Colour' challenge.  For my card I've chosen purple as my 'One Colour'.

I trimmed a piece of white card so it was slightly smaller than the card blank.  I used post-it notes to mask a strip along the bottom of the card and then used purple ink to stencil one row of stacked lines across the bottom of the panel.  I placed the card into my MISTI before stamping the reindeer and sentiment - stamping a couple of times to get a good depth of colour.  To finish I attached the panel to the front of the card.

To make this card I used:
     7" x 5" white matt card blank
Hot off the Press 'Reindeer' and Clearly Besotted 'Cheerful Christmas' stamps
     Funky Fossil 'Stacked Lines' stencil
Versafine Onyx Black and Imperial Purple inks
     White card

As we're away in our campervan I've scheduled this post as I'm not sure if I'll have a wifi signal to be able to enter any challenges.

Red Campion

I've not done much crafting since returning from our last campervan 'adventure', but I have managed to find time to make some of my cross stitch pieces into cards.  This Red Campion is from Carolyn's Garden by Serendipity Designs.  After stitching the flowers I mounted the fabric behind a frame made from red textured card and cut with two stitched square dies.

Joy, Hope, Peace, Believe, Christmas

I send several Christmas cards to male friends each year so have made a few of these CAS cards.

I die cut the Christmas tree from a snippet of dark blue pearlescent card and attached it to the centre of the card blank.  I used a gold Tombow brush pen to colour the star (the pen has a water-based die which doesn't bleed through the card) and then added Diamond Stickles to give a little bit of sparkle to the star.

To make this card I used:
     5" x 5" white matt card blank
Creative Expressions 'Festive Collection - Christmas Tree Greetings' die
     Tombow ABT gold brush pen
     Diamond Stickles
Snippet of dark blue pearlescent card

Happy Christmas

I've finished tidying up after our latest campervan 'adventure' and as we don't head off again until next week I'm catching up with some crafting - and using my growing pile of snippets and old stuff!  This card uses an old Hunkydory image that was part of an A4 sheet - I'd used the plain side of the card and had kept this Santa image.

I trimmed the image down the left side to remove the last of the plain side of the card and then trimmed the top.  I layered it onto a snippet of gold mirri and attached it to the centre of the card front.  I die cut 'Happy Christmas' from gold mirri and attached it to the top.  Another quick and simple Christmas card.

To make this card I used:
     7" x 5" white matt card blank
Hunkydory Santa image from an A4 sheet
Creative Expressions 'Festive Collection - Contemporary Happy Christmas' die
     Snippets of gold mirri

Hello

I made this card to send to Jo for the September Card Chain Challenge.  I used the Colour Option (Ginger, Buttercup & Sage) and the Theme Option (Friendship).

I die cut four green triangles from snippets of green textured card and attached them to the corners of the card.  I die cut the triangles from lots of snippets of yellow textured card and inlaid them into the green triangles.  I cut a piece of brown cad so it was slightly smaller than the inner square and attached it to the card.  I die cut 'hello' from both green and yellow card, offsetting the yellow on top of the green before attaching it to the centre of the card.  I die cut three stars from green card and punched three stars from yellow card.  I attached the yellow stars to the centre of the green die cut stars and attached them to the card.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
Practical Publishing 'Terrific Triangles', Altenew 'Simply Hello' and Xcut 'Nesting Star' dies
     Unbranded star punch
Snippets of brown, yellow and green textured card

September Rudolph Day

It's time for another Rudolph Day card using items that have been magazine cover gifts (this is my RD theme this year).  This card uses an Apple Blossom holly embossing folder that I've had for years and have no idea of the magazine.  The sentiment stamp is from a stamp set that was a cover gift with Making Cards magazine.

I embossed a piece of white card with the holly embossing folder and trimmed around the edge.  I placed the embossed square into my MISTI and stamped the sentiment in the centre before embossing it with clear embossing powder.  The panel was then attached to the card.

To make this card I used:
     5" x 5" white matt card blank
     Apple Blossom 'Holly' embossing folder
Making Cards Magazine 'Essential Christmas Stamps'
     Versafine Olympia Green ink
Cosmic Shimmer Clear Detail embossing powder

Thinking of You

A friend asked me to make a 'Thinking of You' card for a man so I used one of my favourite Woodware stamps for this card.

I placed the card blank into my MISTI so I could line up the seed and sentiment stamps.  I stamped these a couple of times with purple ink to ensure that I had a good depth of colour before embossing them with clear embossing powder.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
Woodware 'Going to Seed' and Clearly Besotted 'Fancy Sayings' stamps
     Versafine Imperial Purple ink
     Cosmic Shimmer Clear Embossing Powder

Hello

This is the card I made to send to Robyn for the August Card Chain Challenge.  I used the Colour Option (Kumquat, Lime & Grape), the Sketch Option and the Theme Options (Flowers & Friendship).

I stamped the large flower onto purple textured card, the smaller flower onto light orange textured card and the leaves onto bright green textured card.  These were all embossed with clear embossing powder and cut with the coordinating dies.  I stamped 'hello' onto a snippet of white matt card and embossed it with clear embossing powder before using a fishtail flag die to cut a banner, extending the cut so the banner fit across the bottom of the card.   I attached the banner across the lower edge of the card, with the flowers and leaves attached to the right side using a foam pad to attach the orange flower.

To make this card I used:
7" x 5" white matt tent fold card blank
Lil'inker Designs 'Modern Mehndi' stamps and coordinating dies
My Favorite Things 'Fishtail Flags' die
Crafter's Companion 'Sweet Florals' sentiment stamp
     Versafine Vintage Sepia ink
Cosmic Shimmer Clear Detail embossing powder
Snippets of white matt card, green textured card, purple textured card and orange textured card
