Hello

I've not had much time to craft over the last few weeks so any cards I've made have been quick, snippets cards and this notecard is no exception.

I trimmed the paper, layered it onto green pearlescent card and attached it to the card front.  I then die cut a butterfly and 'hello' from green pearlescent card and attached these to the card.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 4" white hammer card blank
Memory Box 'Kaleidoscope Butterfly' and Altenew 'Simply Hello' dies
Snippets of green pearlescent card and Funky Fossil 'In To The Blue' paperI

I am entering the following challenges:
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Anything Goes
Crafty Cardmakers - Things with Wings
     Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge 386

This is my last post for a few weeks as we're heading off to Cornwall for in our new campervan Zebedee.

Golf

This another card I made for one of Steve's colleagues - someone who is a golf fanatic.

I trimmed a piece of the red and cream paper (which looks a bit like a golfing jumper), layered it onto black paper and attached it to the card front.  I used my MISTI to stamp the image onto the beige paper, stamping it several times to get a good clear image.  I coloured the golfer with Promarkers before trimming the panel, layering it onto black paper and attaching it across the centre of the card.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
     Indigoblu 'Fairway to Heaven' stamp
     Versafine Onyx Black ink
Promarkers - Cinnamon, Ivory & Sandstone
Lili of the Valley 'Country Gent', Joy Crafts 'Earth bloc' and black pearlescent papers

I am entering the following challenges:
     Crafty Cardmakers - Masculine
Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge - Anything Goes
Pearly Sparkles Challenge - For the Men/Boys

Upcycled Birthday Wishes

One of Steve's birthday cards had got a large die cut sentiment on the picture.  I'd had my eye on it all week and as soon as he took his cards down and gave them to me for upcycling I made this birthday card.

The lovely marbled paper was a freebie from Jessica at Lincolnshire Marbled Art.  I trimmed the paper to a square, layered it onto dark blue card and attached it the card front.  I then attached the sentiment across the card with foam tape.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
     Upcycled greeting
Lincolnshire Marbled Art burgundy, blue and green paper
     Dark blue card

I am entering the following challenges:
     Crafty Cardmakers - Masculine
Seize the Birthday - Anything Goes
Pearly Sparkles Challenge - For the Boys/Men

Happy Birthday to You

I made this quick card for a friend's birthday.  I'm entering the Allsorts 'Happy Birthday challenge (to celebrate Allsorts 10th  birthday), Crafty Cardmakers 'Birthdays' challenge and Tales from the Craft Room 'Floral Frenzy' challenge.

Docrafts 'Full Bloom' Card Kit (cover gift with Crafts Beautiful magazine)
Hobby Art 'General Greetings' stamp
My Favourite Things 'Fishtail Flags' die
Versafine Onyx Black ink

I trimmed the pink card blank from the kit to make a 6" x 6" card.  I covered the front with the floral card leaving a small border around the edge.  I stamped the sentiment onto the offcut of pink card before die cutting and embossing the fishtail flag. To finish I attached the sentiment to the lower corner of the card with foam tape.

Upcycled Easter Card

I made this card for Tales from the Craft Room 'Easter/Splring' challenge.  I'm also entering the Crafty Gals Corner 'Spring is Here' challenge, Crafty Cardmakers 'Easter' challenge and Crafty Creations Challenges 'Anything Goes'..

5" x 5" white matt card blank
Upcycled Easter card
Lawn Fawn 'Outside In Stitched Square Stackables' die3s
Making Cards 'Landscapes' paper
White card

I attached the paper to thin white card to make it sturdier for die cutting and also so it was the same thickness as the upcycled card.  I then used the two largest dies to make a frame and attached it to the card blank.  I used the smaller of the two dies to cut a square from the Easter card, ensuring the sentiment was in the middle of my die cut.  I then inserted this panel into the die cut frame.

Twofer Hearts

It's time for the second Twofer Card Challenge and this month the challenge is 'Hearts'.  I've used my Impression Obsession 'Heart of Hearts' die to make an anniversary card and a birthday card.

Onefer - Happy Anniversary

I'm also entering the Die cut Divas 'Love is in the Air' and Crafty Cardmakers 'Love and Romance' challenges. I'm also dashing across to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop with my snippets.

Card blank: 6" x 6" white hammer
Stamp: Hobby Art 'General Greetings'
Die: Impression Obsession 'Heart of Hearts'
Ink: Versafine Crimson Red
Snippets: White hammer, red pearlescent and red mirri card

I die cut the Heart of Hearts from white hammer card and set aside the small hearts for my Twofer card.  I trimmed the card and stamped the greeting below the heart.  This panel was then layered onto red pearlescent card.  I die cut the heart from snippets of red pearlescent and red mirri card and inlaid the small hearts.  I placed a piece of paper over the panel before running it through my Cuttlebug to make sure the inlaid hearts were flat and then attached the panel to the card front.

Twofer - Another Year Flies By

I made this birthday card using the hearts I had set aside from my Onfer card.  I'm entering the Butterfly Challenge 'Spin the Butterfly Wheel with the Letter P' (I have chosen Purple and Patterned Paper) and the Cuttlebug Mania 'Colour Challenge' (I have chosen Purple, Lilac and White),

Card blank: 6" x 6" white hammer
Stamp: Ultimate Crafts 'Another Year Flies By' (magazine freebie)
Dies: Impression Obsession 'Heart of Hearts', Memory Box Kaleidoscope Butterfly, Spellbinders Nestabilities Standard Circles Large & Classic Scalloped Circles Large
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Ink: Versafine Imperial Purple
Card: Purple pearlescent
Paper: Lili of the Valley 'Timeless Victorian'
Other: Wink of Stella

I glued the hearts around the edge of the card front (I noticed there was a smudge of glue by one of the hearts and used the Sand Eraser I won from Di to remove it - it worked a treat and there's no sign of the mark).  I die cut and embossed a circle from a snippet of purple paper and using my MISTI I stamped the sentiment on the paler part of the paper.  This was layered onto a die cut and embossed purple scalloped circle and then attached to the centre of the card with foam tape.  I die cut a Kaleidoscope butterfly from purple card and attached it to the top of the circle.  To finish I highlighted the sentiment with a Wink of Stella.
