Questions about Printers and Giveaway

This month my questions are about Printers.  I need to buy a new printer as my current one has never been able to cope with printing on card, but it now won't print in colour either.  A couple of crafty friends have told me what they use, but I'm curious to know about other printers being used too.

  - What make and model printer do you have?
  - What thickness card is your printer able to print?
  - Do you print anything else other than card and paper?  If so, what do you print on?
  - Do you use your printer for printing digital stamps and/or papers?  If so, what weight paper/card do you use?
  - Do you have a favourite card/paper for printing?  If so, what is it?
  - What do you like/dislike about your printer?
  - If you were going to buy a new printer - would you buy the one you have now?
  - And, of course, any other advice you can give about buying a new printer.

Questions about Die Cutting and Giveaway

This month my questions are about die cutting and there is also another Giveaway.

Here are a few questions to start you off:

  - Do you use a manual, electronic or computerised die cutting machine?
  - What to you like (or not like) about the machine you use?
  - As well as card and paper - do you cut anything else?
  - Do you have a favourite manufacturer of dies?  If so, what do you like about them?
  - Do you like coordinating stamp and die sets?  (If so, you may like this month's prize!)
  - Do you have any favourite techniques with dies?
  - And, of course, any other information you would like to share about die cutting.

Questions about Ink and Giveaway

I was overwhelmed by the number of responses I received to last month's question about card blanks and thank you to everyone who commented on my post.

This month my questions are about ink and, of course, there is another Giveaway.  There are so many different types of ink on the market and I'm sure everyone has their favourite for different uses.  Here are a few questions to start you off:

  - What types of ink do you use?
  - Do you have a favourite brand?
  - What is your favourite ink for stamping?
  - What is your favourite ink for heat embossing ?
  - What is your favourite ink for using with stencils?
  - What is your favourite ink for using with different colouring mediums - alcohol pens, coloured pencils?
  - Please feel free to add any other comments or advice you would like to share.

Questions about Card Blanks and Giveaway

For the next few months I'm going to post some questions on the first Wednesday of the month as I'm interested in products and techniques that other crafters use.  As a thank you to those who leave a response I'll have a small giveaway too.

This month's questions are about Card Blanks:
  -  Do you use ready made card blanks or do you make your own?
  -  If you use ready made which make do you prefer and why?
  -  If you make your own what card do you like to use and why?
  -  What weight of card do you like to use?
  -  Do you have a preferred colour?
  -  What size do you prefer to make?
