Spring Bunny

I made this card for Janine for the Lili of the Valley Card Swap.  I'm entering the Crafty Gals Corner 'Spring is Here' challenge, the Crafty Creations Challenge 'Anything Goes' and the Dies R Us Challenge 'One for the Ladies.  The card was from my snippets drawer so I'm also heading into the playground at Pixies Crafty Workshop

5" x 5" white matt card blank
Lili of the Valley 'Spring Bunny with Daffodils' image
Hobby Art 'General Greetings' stamp
Lawn Fawn 'Outside In Stitched Square Stackables' and My Favourite Things 'Fishtail Flags' dies
Woodware Large and Regular 'Daisy' punches
Kars tan embossing mat
Versafine Vintage Sepia ink
White matt card
Snippets of  patterned card and white matt card
Yellow sparkle dots
Wink of Stella

I used the two largest dies to cut a frame from the patterned card and attached the frame to the card front.   I used the second largest die to die cut and emboss the precoloured image and then inlaid this into the frame.  I stamped the sentiment onto white card and die cut the fishtail flag.  I trimmed the end of the flat and attached it to the lower edge of the card with foam tape.  I punched two large and two regular daisies, layered these and attached them to the top corner.  To finish I added two yellow sparkle dots to the centres of the daisies and highlighted the sentiment with a Wink of Stella.

This is the lovely card I received from Janine as part of the swap.

Gingerbread Woman

This month's Christmas Cards All Year Round challenge is 'Candy or Gingerbread'.  I'm entering Crafty Friends 'Cute' challenge, the Holly and Ivy Christmas Challenge 'Anything Christmas Goes' and The Merry Christmas Challenge 'Anything Goes + Christmas'.

Card: 7" x 7" kraft
Image: Craft Creations 'Gingerbread Woman' die cut decoupage sheet
Card: Red mirri, kraft
Paper: Holly glitter (magazine freebie)
Other: Red nailheads

I trimmed the holly paper, layered it onto red mirri and attached it to the card front.  I trimmed the image, layered it onto red mirri and kraft card before attaching it to the centre of the card.  I then assembled the die cut decoupaged pieces using Pinflair glue.  As the paper is quite thin I hadn't noticed that there was something stuck underneath the lower corner of the image, so I added some nailheads to cover the crease and more to the top corner to balance the image.

Bear on Motorbike

I wanted to make a card for a young boy's birthday which had a cute image and also an iris folded design, so this is what I came up with.

I made a card blank from Ivory Centura Pearl cardstock and attached blue Moondust card.   The scalloped square was already embossed with dots and had an aperture in the centre, although I made it a little larger so it was the same size as my iris folding template.   The iris folding papers were scraps of beige, gold foil, red and blue sparkle papers and the iris centre is a piece of gold holographic card.  This was attached to the card front and I placed small gold peel-off dots in each corner of the square.  The Bear on Motorbike is from a Craft Creations die cut sheet.  I layered it with silicone glue so I could shape the pieces and, when dry, I attached it to the bottom of the card.   The greeting was from the same sheet and I mounted it onto blue Moondust card to match the layers on the card.

I'm going to submit this for the third card for Unit Three, so would welcome any comments or suggestions for improvement.
