Sunday Stamper

Just getting this in time for the challenge over at The Sunday Stamper, which this weeks theme is red. Been a while since participating in this challenge so sorry Hels, but I'm here now!! Took a triangle card and stamped image from Debbi Moore Design, then used a white inkssentials pen and dotted all over. Really easy this one but like the overall effect.

Sunday Stamper

This is my very 1st house I've ever made and am very pleased with the way it turned out. It was originally for a new forum swap but after making it, found out that it also fits this weeks challenge at the Sunday Stamper "Home" is this weeks theme so I am putting it in for that as well. I drew a rough sketch of my house and then made a template with a blank piece of doeflex. 1stly, I covered it with Jewel vellum then cut a circle for the window and added a frame. The butterfly and heart are from Hels Stitchels stamps (which I love) and stamped 2 corners from Technique Tuesday and coloured them in with Galaxy Markers. Finished with the wording I done on my Dymo. Only another 9 for the swap and have to say I'm looking forward to making them!!

This weeks theme at Sunday Stamper is Hearts and over on Bex's Forum is to make a pink tag. How could I not use Hels new "Stitchels" on my project! Have used Two Scoops Basic Grey Papers and coloured the leaves with Copic Markers. Added a swirl stamp also from the two scoops range and finished with a piece of black ribbon. Took this into my garden again and took the piccie amongst another pot of flowers. Having a fuuny 5 minutes I think!!!

ArtyGlitz and Sunday Stamper Challenge

This is one of those cards that was not planned at all but just came together, and without blowing my own trumpet, I am really chuffed with the result. Saturday night I was scribbling prisma pencils on a scrap of paper, thought it looks quite effective to blended sansodor with them to create a background and ripped one of the edges. I then used my collage stamp and coloured with H20's, something I haven't used in a very long time. I ripped some copper background paper and matted stamped image. The backing paper is from Crafty Individual. I then added an image from the Tuscan Rose CD and edged all around the papers with a dark pigment pad. To finish, I cut up a few squares of friendly plastic and heated and used various objects to create impressions in it. Added these around the card and its ready for this weeks challenges at Artyglitz which was to create your own background and Sunday Stamper which is words, there are words on the backing paper and the stamp.

Sunday Stamper - Faces

This weeks challenge at Sunday Stamper is "Faces". I think this little girl has such an adorable face and fits the challenge perfectly! The child and wording stamps are both from StampAttack, another purchase from Ally Pally. I've added ribbon to the buttons and down the side of the card. Hope you like it!!

Sunday Stamper/Wednesday Stamper

This is the card for this weeks challenges at "Sunday Stamper" which is Families and "Wednesday Stamper" which is Arrows. I have used all new stash to make this card and have highlighted the piece of friendly plastic I have used. This stuff is amazing and so easy but think it looks fab! The card has come out a bit lighter than I wanted, still not got the hang of this photography lark!!!
Used paper from Crafty Individuals Background Papers Book1, Arrow Rub on from BoBunny, Together Rub on from 7 Gypsies, leaf from Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips which was coloured with Glimmer Mists and Cosmic Shimmer and the stamp is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. Gone around the edge of card to with Blue Chalk Pad.

Sunday Stamper/Forum Challenge Card

THis card fits 2 challenges this week. The Sunday Stamper was the colour "Green" and the challenge this week at Just Bex was to use Circles or Dots on the card, so have combined the two. The papers on the the card are DCWV "Winter Stack". The bird and flower stamp on the card are from the new Laura Ashley range and the stamp on the heart is unknown I'm afraid. Thats the only thing I do not like about clear stamps, at least with the wooden blocks, the manufacturer is printed on it. The heart was die cut with my Cricut. I went around the edge of the card with Tim Holtz Crackle paint in Frayed Burlap and rubbed over with a gold "Galaxy Marker" pen, which was also used to highlight some detail on the stamp. Usually associate green with christmas cards, so made a nice change! Food shop to do today but hoping to craft for an 1 hour if possible. 2 of my children break up today, but the other one will still be at school, which means no lay ins for me. Have a nice weekend!

Sunday Stamper-Oriental

Took the plunge this morning and decided it was time I got back into the challenges! I dont make many tags but do enjoy making them. This one is for "The Sunday Stamper".Couldn't find any precut tags so made my own. I inked up the red background with Alcohol Inks, tinted with Tims Distress Ink Pads and stamped some oriental flowers in green. Then stamped main image onto tag and coloured with Sakura pens. Finished off with a tassle. Sorry photo's a bit naff.

Sunday Stamper & Arty Girlz

This weeks challenge for the "Sunday Stamper" was to decoupage a stamp and "Arty Girlz" was to use any stamp from your collection, so have entered this into both. I've made this square card which started off being pearl off white and distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pads. I have added small borders down both sides using Tanda's Background Set 1. Torn some card and again distressed using a wet cut and dry pad and stamped with a image with them same ink. The image (Crafty Individuals) was another piece of card that distressed with various colours and then stamped with a Vintage Sepia Versafine inkpad. I then embossed with a holographic powder. Added some gold Tattered Angels Mist. I decoupaged the butterfly as per the challenge. I really had fun making this card. Messy, and a bit more time consuming but worth it!!!
