Everybody-Art Challenge
Here is my card for this weeks Everybody-Art Challenge, the theme being Christmas/Winter. We put our tree up last night so thought I'd be festive and take the piccie with the tree in the background. Not that I'm likely to see snow at Christmas, less than 3 weeks and were off to Maurtius. Just hope its as good as last christmas though we will be there for New Year as well. Just got to get my dental treatment finished this week. My card has again used the K & Co "Sweet Noel" papers. I love the colours on these. My new Magnolia coloured with Promarkers and the sentiment used with Safmat on my computer. I've again edged with a black galaxy marker, I really like edging this way. Must say a big thanks to those who have so far entered my Blog Candy. I've had some lovely comments and never new it would be this popular, so thanks for joining in & I'm so glad you like whats on offer.

The weekend is finally here and that means a new challenge over at The Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge. This weeks theme is "Cute As A Button", We would like to see a cute image and button(s) on your creations. and guess what, it is my week to set the challenge and above you can see my card. Tilda coloured with Prisma Pencils and Sansodor. Papers are Basic Grey Sultry. Hand drew the heart and added grungeboard hearts and swirl which were spritzed with black/gold Glimmer mists. Sentiment printed onto Safmat and doodling with a Galaxy Marker. Prima flower and button and fibre from my stash. Please pop on over to the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and take a look at the other DT's cards. The challenge has been a great success in the 7 weeks its been running so if you would like to play along, we'd love to see what you come up with!!!
Thanks for all the lovely hugs and wishes I've received regarding my dreaded visit to the dentist. My gums are still very sore and am dosing up on Co-Codomal. I'm very lucky to have such wonderful cyber friends. Have a lovely weekend.

Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge 6 - DT Card
This weeks challenge over at the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge is a sketch by Wendy. Wasn't sure how I was going to work this sketch to start with but now I have finished the card, I just love it and am sure to use it again. My card is a 6 x 6. The only papers used are BG's Sultry. The Circle was cut with my Nestabilities and I've edged with a metallic ink pad as I felt another circle would cover up to much of the square area. The stamp is my new "Daisy" by Sugar Nellie. I've coloured again with my Prismas Pencils and Sansador and am so pleased with how she turned out. The sentiment I made on my Computer and printed onto Satmat. The scalloped border is done with my new Fiskars Waterfall Punch!
I must say a massive thanks to everyone who sent a card to Daniel, took 2 1/2hrs for him to open and we finished late last night. We ended up all going for a meal instead of the fireworks. I will post a list of names in the week, sorry it wont be sooner, but I have my mum coming to visit this weekend and we haven't seen each other for a year so will be AWOL for the next 2 days. Daniel loved his birthday and he was constantly smiling while opening them, he looked at every card in detail and read out every single word written, so you can see why it took so long (lol), Have a great weekend, and dont forget to pop over to the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and see what the other DT's have made. Have a terrific weekend and thanks again!!!!!!!!!!
Love Claire (and Daniel)xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
