SO SORRY WORD VERIFICATION HAD TURNED ITSELF ON AFTER SEEING THIS ON SOMEONE ELSES BLOG SO HAVE NOW CHANGED IT. SO PLEASE CHECK YOUR SETTINGS
I HATE THE THING!

HAVE CHECKED AND THIS SEEMS TO BE A GOOGLE PROBLEM. I WENT OVER TO THE NEW INTERFACE THIS MORNING BUT HAVE SWITCHED TO THE OLD FOR NOW.
FINGERS CROSSED ITS DONE THE TRICK.

Well I cant remember the last time I made a card for a challenge of my choice. Normally I make the card then see what fits but I loved this weeks Papertake Weekly Challenge so this was made using this weeks sketch. I'm lovin my Tilda's and I've inked this one up for the second time, if it makes a third it will be a record!!
She's been coloured with Copics and I've used the beautiful papers from Bo Bunny's "Country Garden Collection". Lots of Dies and Flowers all covered with Stickles as usual. A piece of Lace and a Button with a piece of String that was off a clothes tag.
This may be my last card for a couple of weeks. Were off to Center Parcs during half term and I dont know if I will get any craft time before we go. I was hoping this gorgeous weather was going to continue but I think its on a downward spiral. As long as its not to wet and Center Parcs has lots of activities whatever the weather so I'm sure we will enjoy ourselves.

Heres my list of challenges I'd like to enter this card into;

Magnolia Topper - OTT!! Comment problem fixed.......,..

SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMMENT NOW, I DONE NOTHING BUT SET TO NO COMMENTS ALLOWED - EEK.....

Hello everyone, today I'm showing my first ever topper and I think I went a bit mad, even my dining table wasn't big enough to cater for the amount of stash I got out to make this up!!!
I've used Tilda with Bow and coloured her with Copics. The paper is from the Prima Meadow Lark Pad, with Cheescloth ontop. I got the Elegant Edges Cartridge for my new Cricut yesterday and wow its fabulous, will also make wonderful shaped inserts. I've used of the it to extend my topper. Embellishment overload on this one using lots of different dies, flowers, punched butterflies and a small doily I bought the other day.
I last week decided to step down from my DT's. It wasn't an easy decision at all and I still have regrets, but crafting was being more of a chore than a hobby and I want to be able to have the time to work at my own pace hopefully with even better creations. Cant guarantee all the time but I'll try. lol  I've had a good old nose round blogland and gots lots of inspiration so hopefully my mojo will keep. Maybe because spring is looming and I feel so much perkier.
So maybe one day I'll go back to some DT's, but for the moment I'm happy being mum first and crafter second.

Heres some challenges I'm entering this into;

Lilis Little Fairies DT Card!!

Good morning everyone, I've been a nawty blogger this last week and am finally back with a card for this weeks Lili's Little Fairies Challenge. I love this weeks theme "Lavender and Lace". Think these colours are always so pretty on a card, I should make a note to use them more often. I have used tiptoe fairy and again coloured onto kraft, this time with Copics and Promarkers. (I'm experimenting I think). The papers are a mix of Basic Grey Koishi and Wisteria. You cant see the card blank but it is a beautifully embossed pearl and so pretty. Lots of sparkle and punches used and a Cream Viva Pearl Pen on the butterflies along with a piece of lace and the LOTV postcard stamp.

So the reason I've not been in blogland much these last few days. My dog has picked up a parasite and is now on antibiotics, but I've had a few sleepness nights I can tell you. I wish I could have put a nappy on him!! lol. The tablets seem to be working but my sleep pattern is all over the place at the moment, nap during the day then wide awake at 10/11pm. Just a small matter, I have school runs every morning so no lie in for me - shame!!! lol

And I really must tidy my craftroom, (again). All of my 6x6's have fallen of the shelf and are scattered over the floor atm, and everything else is just a mess. Could have sworn I had a good sort out before christmas. lol. Never mind, maybe I'll get to make a sneaky card whilst I'm doing it and I need to make room for new stash on order. Didnt bother to make it a new years resolution as I new it wouldn't last. 2 weeks it pretty good though dont you think - hehe.

I'm having a day indoors so if I stay awake I'm gonna have an hrs "me time" and catch up with your blogs.
Enjoy the rest of your week and thanks for stopping by today.

CES DT - Sugar Nellie Bookmark....

Hello all, managed to get back into my craftroom all set to make a card and I end up with a bookmark hehe... Sorry, its not the best of piccies.
Today we see a new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog and this weeks theme is "Forever Autumn".
Dont use these colours much but love the combination. I have used a Sugar Nellie Stamp that I've had for years and love her (but dont know her name). Had a few packs of Promarker Fine Nibs sitting here for ages but yet to try and Wow, they are fantastic. What a transformation. Love them!! Used 3 shades of Orange Promarkers and them used the Pro Nib with the Chestnut Promarker to go over the linage. Also tried the new Flexmarkers just for the skin. Jury still out on this one. They are very pale and not a great selection of colours right now. I'm not overexcited about the nib either and feel the pen is quite chunky to hold. Personal opinion but I know I'll still get the new sets when they are released.
Anyway, heres my bookmark. Promarkers and Nibs both available from Crafty Emma's Store and an additional 20% discount for most stock. Other items used, BG scrap paper piece, flowers, glimmer mist, viva gold and orange pens, lace, chalk ink pad, prima flowers, punched leaves & butterfly brad.
As always, gorgeous cards from the rest of my teamies and I enjoyed playing with this colour combo.
Think I'll give the bookmark to my Zoe, always got a book on the go which cant be a bad thing.
Have a lovely weekend and thanks for stopping by today.

CES DT Piece & Challenges

Yay, its the weekend and a brand new challenge over at the CES Challenge Blog. This weeks them is "Forever Autumn". I chose to make a notebook this week. My mojo's not in full swing atm but hoping things will be a little less hectic next week and hopefully back to normal.
The papers I have used are Papermania. Image is a wooden backed stamp made from my local craft shop which has now closed down. She has been coloured with Aquamarkers which are available over at Crafty Emma's Store.
My DT buddies have made gorgeous cards, they're a talented bunch.

I'm away again this weekend. THANKYOU to all that have sent Daniel birthday cards. He is in for a real treat on Sunday and its going to take a long time to open them all. I will post thanks and names just so you know yours has been received. It means so much to know that there are people out there who do care. Autism is a horrible condition to live with and unfortunately as a parent we don't get manuals. If I could get into his head and understood how he see's things it would be so much easier. I admire any person/parent or carer who is associated with Autism.
Daniels still a little unsettled at school. They are being very patient and he is trying. Hopefully he will settle back into routine soon!

Heres a list of challenges;
Digi Doodle - Show Us Your Fall/Autumn Projects
Oldie But a Goodie - Distressing (Stamps is years old)
Lots to do - Autumnal Colours

Well, were off shortly so I will be back in blogland Monday. Dentist Tuesday and the start of my treatment. Route Canal for the first visit - lovely!!!! NOT

Have a lovely weekend and enjoy any firework displays you maybe going to. Were off to Battle for one Saturday night, then Ten Pin Bowling and A Pizza/Pasta Restaurant for Daniels Birthday.

This week has really flown past and today we see a new challenge over at the LOTV Challenge Blog.
This weeks theme is One for the Girls, my kinda card!!!
For my card I have used "Feather Boa" from the Party Girl range. For all you lucky enough to get to the NEC, I would highly recommend this one, a pleasure to colour.
She's been coloured with Promarkers and I've added Crystal Stickles down the centre of her Boa. Chequered paper is again Jack & Jill and the other is a piece of scrap. Used the Field of Sky Background Stamp and again added dots of Stickles & Perfect Pearls. MS Butterflies dotted with White Inkssential Pen, a mix of Flowers and Ribbon from stash.
Lots of Sparkle on this one, but when don't I add a touch of Stickles.

To everyone going to the NEC This weekend, have fun. I can never seem to get there as it always falls over Daniels Birthday but one day it will happen. Drooling over all that rubber, not fair lol.

Away again this weekend so hopefully all back to normal next week. No celebrations, No Birthdays and hopefully not a lot of housework

Thanks for stopping by my blog today and I do appreciate all the lovely emails I have received about Daniel. I do hope I've not missed anyone out and replied to you all.

Sweet Pea Alice!

Aren't these stamps just gorgeous. I jut loved colouring this stamp in. I went with Copics. Not often I don't leave white gaps. The papers are a mix and flowers from stash. Don't know who the sentiment is by but have used a label punch and gone round the edges with a black chalk ink pad. The papers have also been distressed with my MM tool. My heart was a MS punch. I then covered it with Rock Candy Distress Crackle and added a fine Glitter then used my heat gun to dry. Also added a little glaze on the flowers and her hairband but don't think this has been picked up. Stickles on the flowers and leaves.

Tilda Multi Challenge Card

Finally a card. I'm struggling to find the time atm. Maybe because the weather is on the change I'm busy in the garden or doing other things but will be crafting when I can, couldnt give up my favourite past-time.

I just love the way my card has turned out. Magnolia's are always beautiful stamps to use and with the matching papers it really completes it I think. Tilda has been coloured with Copics and have glazed her basket, adding stickles to the flowers in her basket. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and other bits and bobs from stash.

TGF Card and Challenges (Do'in my own thing)

Well I managed to get some crafting done this afternoon and this is the end result. I didn't follow any sketches, challenges, nothing. Just had a play with my new stamp from the GFT and some bits Tracy at Dies to Die for kindly sent me with an order.

The papers are MME and this gorgeous stamp has been coloured with Promarkers, Lyra Polycolour Pencils and a White Gel Pen. The loop punched border, oval and scallop die and MS Heart were all from Tracy and I used these as a base for my card. All the other bits are out of my stash.

I've made this card for a friend in mind.

The snow has now stopped and the sun is trying to poke its head out of the clouds. Dont think there is anymore forecast now so may be able to get at least 2 of the children back to school tomorrow. Daniels now home and has again started his half term early. He had bad snow last time they were due to break up so another extended break for him.

Now I couldn't not take a look and see if my card fitted any challenges, and these are what I found ;-
Die Cut Dreams - Have a Heart
