"Shy Tilda" Birthday Card

Well I can honestly say I never thought for one moment that I would be making any cards at all this week. I dont know whats come over me but I cant stop colouring!! So late last night when everyone was tucked up I took some time out and this is what I come up with. I'm pretty much a Tilda addict at the moment. You wont see many cards from me where the stamp has been coloured with dark tones. I'm pretty scared when it comes to shading and red is a colour I never usually use. But I love my new "Shy Tilda" and the warm colours on this card make this a real treat for me. I've coloured her with Copics and Polychromo Pencils. Got the set of 120 and hardly used them, and I've remembered to list the colours used. The Postcard Stamp is LOTV, papers are Basic Grey - Kissing Booth and made my own tag.
 I did make this card based on this weeks Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenges and as usual it will fit so many more so here they are;

Magnolia Stamp Lovers - Basic Grey Paper Brands
Wags n Whiskers - Say It With Flowers
Just Magnolia - Springtime
Cheerful Stamp Pad - Anything Goes
Paper Sundaes - Spring Blossoms
Kaboodle Doodle - Circles & Squares
Diva's By Design - Stamp Something
My Mums Craft Shop - Stamp It!
Simon Says - Anything Goes
Party Time Tuesday - Anything Goes
The Crazy Challenge - Add a Sentiment

Well thats it from me for the time being. Cases to pack, house to clean and a bit of blog hopping.
Hope you all have a wonderful Easter Break.
We'll be returning on the 9th and as I'll have no wifi, will be straight to my computer

Magnolia Topper - OTT!! Comment problem fixed.......,..

SHOULD BE ABLE TO COMMENT NOW, I DONE NOTHING BUT SET TO NO COMMENTS ALLOWED - EEK.....

Hello everyone, today I'm showing my first ever topper and I think I went a bit mad, even my dining table wasn't big enough to cater for the amount of stash I got out to make this up!!!
I've used Tilda with Bow and coloured her with Copics. The paper is from the Prima Meadow Lark Pad, with Cheescloth ontop. I got the Elegant Edges Cartridge for my new Cricut yesterday and wow its fabulous, will also make wonderful shaped inserts. I've used of the it to extend my topper. Embellishment overload on this one using lots of different dies, flowers, punched butterflies and a small doily I bought the other day.
I last week decided to step down from my DT's. It wasn't an easy decision at all and I still have regrets, but crafting was being more of a chore than a hobby and I want to be able to have the time to work at my own pace hopefully with even better creations. Cant guarantee all the time but I'll try. lol  I've had a good old nose round blogland and gots lots of inspiration so hopefully my mojo will keep. Maybe because spring is looming and I feel so much perkier.
So maybe one day I'll go back to some DT's, but for the moment I'm happy being mum first and crafter second.

Magnolia Card..........

Well its taken me well over a week to make this card but here I am at long last and with a card that I am very happy with.
I've a draw of Magnolia stamps that never see daylight. I've been having a good sort out in my craftroom and have added lots on ebay and still loads more to go on if anyones interested.
I went totally OTT with this card and love the final result. Tildas been coloured with Copics and Prismas and dotted around her with a White Gel Pen. The papers are Magnolia, Dies Galore including my TH Weathered Clock, a big favourite right now. Found all my flowersoft in a cupboard so have added to the Magnolia Fence along with lots of MS Punched Butterflies. Cheesecloth, Stickles and a Viva Pearl Pen for a touch of detail and a scrummy piece of lace to.
Forgot to say the tag on the left is removal so you can always add a message there to and the fence has been arched giving a bit of dimension.

This is the inside. Again Magnolia Papers, Flowers, Punched Butterfly, MS Border Punch backed onto Bazzill Cardstock.

Sketch Saturday, Magnolia Stamp lovers and a Few More

This card was made with both Magnolia Stamp Lovers and Sketch saturday in mind.  Its been ages since I used one of my Magnolia and I love "Tilda with Rose".
Before I get onto my card, yesterday Daniel was in a car accident on the way to school in the taxi. He's no injures just a bit shocked. Police were on scene and the car was a bit if a mess. So my mojo was not up to much and late last night I popped in my craftroom and thought I experiment with colouring. I've not done much feathering with Copics but tried it out on her hair and a tinge on her dress. Alot of the shading was done by taking a dark colour off with the nib of the lightest Copic and shading where I wanted. Enjoy this technique and not done that for a while. Now if I had sat down and planned to make this card it would't have worked but I often find doing my own thing unplanned results in a better outcome, funny that.
Zoe had a lovely weekend with 3 of her school friends staying over, a trip to Frankie & Bennys and a lot of noise. Loves her new Ipod, but I don't think I'll be doing a "slumber party" for a few years yet lol

Heres a few challenges;

House of Gilli - Anything Goes
ABC Challenge - Y for Yesterday (R fo Roses April 2011)

CES Challenge DT Card & other challenges...

Another sunny morning here in England with the warm spring days finally here.
Today over at the CES Challenge Blog we have a new challenge.
Thanks to all who took part in last weeks "Childrens" challenge, so many wonderful entries. This weeks theme is "MONOCHROMATIC". I thought this was going to be quite tricky as I couldn't see this little cutie all in brown but am pretty pleased with how my card has turned out.

The stamp is "Fairy Kiki" from Mo Manning. She's been coloured with Copics and a few White Dimples on her cheeks with a White Gel Pen and cut with nests. The papers are Fancy Pants and most of the embellishments on this card are available to buy at Crafty Emma's Store where more new stash is due soon. The Scrabble Tiles are a Papermania Box and I just love using these. Papers have been distressed and again used my Gold Adirondaak Paint Dabber on alot of the card.I just couldn't do without this. Such a great effect. The butterflies are a MS Punch. I have stamped over them with my "Field of Sky" Stamp and added Pearls using my new Pearl Maker Pen. Pretty much the same as Viva Pearl Pens, just a different variety of colours. Swirls are a Marianne Die and I've used the Gold Dabber and again the Pearl Pen. Lots of Stickles and I found my Magnolia Birds in a draw so inked one up and added it to the card.

Heres my usual list of challenges;
One Stop Craft Challenge - Monochrome
Sukkersott - Bursting with Flowers
Card Makin Mama's - Embellish It
Mami Doodles - Use a Punch or Die Cut

Thankyou to all who took part last week, I thoroughly enjoyed looking at as many as I could. Today over at the CES Challenge, Julie has set the challenge "Red & Romance". Well I've defo got the red and have gone for a more romantic feel to the card opposed to making a Valentines. Used a 6 x 4 card for a change. The embossed background is a new Marianne Die Folder run threw my Bigshot. The butterfly is also Marianne. Tilda has been coloured with Copics onto watercolour paper and I really like using this, will try again. Birds are a new McGill punch I purchased yesterday and the Doily and Pins are from Crafty Emma's Store. (Lots of new stock being added). Finished with a strip of ribbon along the bottom and some punched corners.

Finally a Card!!

Finally a card from me. We've about 6 inches of snow. The kids are off though we are still have issues with Daniels school and he is off as we've chose to take him out for the moment till they sort out their teaching methods. Hubby at home and an internet connection when my laptop chooses!!!
Anyway, a christmas card using my MM Slice. Bought the magnetic pad with I just love. I'd already stamped Tilda and coloured her with Promarkers but it looked bare so using my slice helped fill in the gaps. I don't know what the corner stamps are but I stickled all the berries. Made the bow using the "Bow Easy" and a White Sakura Pen dotted over the Letters.
Not long now till my holiday and what with the weather, packing to do, kids at home and my internet playing up I'm not sure how often I'm going to be able to craft now. I'll be back tomorrow with my LOTV Dt Card and will craft and blog hop when I can.
Well I hope your enjoying the snow. Looks like we could be in for a night of it here in the SouthEast. I could sit at the window all night just watching it!!!

Heres a list of challenges and fingers crossed back tomorrow with another card;

Paper Sundaes - Adorn Those Corners

A Crafty Little Place - Anything Goes

Sweet Stampin DT Card

Yays its saturday and this is preposted as were away in Alton Towers with my hubbys brother and his family so wont be around this weekend. 6 kids and I think rain, but I'm sure we'll be enjoying ourselves.
This week over at the Sweet Stampin Challenge, its "Team Carrie's" turn and we have a fantastic sketch for you to play with. I have used one of the new Tilda's and coloured her with Pencils and Sansador. The backing paper is a new Mangolia one to and it was pure coincidence that these matched as I'd already coloured the image. Die cut with my Nellie Snellie Oval and added a Rose Viva Pearl Pens all around. Bazzill cardstock and the large MS Border Punch (forgotten its name now) behind the image and the MS Heart Border Punch for the Edges. Assorted flowers, all stickled, Pearl Gems, Pearl Bead Spray and a Sentiment. I've also stickler around the edges of the paper as I do like a bit of sparkle.

A slight challenge rule change. Please only enter a maximum of 2 entries from now on please.
I will be back in blogland Monday. All the kids back in school and hopefully a day to catch up.

Thats it for now.
Thankyou so much for stopping by my blog today and all the wonderful comments I've received on my last card. I love reading them all and just the boost I need when I've got brain freeze!
The rest of my teams have made beautiful cards to. I know they'd appreciate you taking a look.

Tilda Multi Challenge Card

Finally a card. I'm struggling to find the time atm. Maybe because the weather is on the change I'm busy in the garden or doing other things but will be crafting when I can, couldnt give up my favourite past-time.

I just love the way my card has turned out. Magnolia's are always beautiful stamps to use and with the matching papers it really completes it I think. Tilda has been coloured with Copics and have glazed her basket, adding stickles to the flowers in her basket. The flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and other bits and bobs from stash.
I made this card taking this weeks sketch from Friday Sketcher, but as usual it fits into a few other challenges as well.

Sketch Saturday and Stamp Something!

Isn't this stamp adorable. Another new stamp from TGF, coloured her with Copics and cut with Nesties. I loved this weeks Sketch Saturday and have for a change distressed all the papers and edged with a Fluid Chalk Ink Pad. The papers are a mix of K & Co Wild Raspbery and Fancy Pants. Sentiment from Magnolia which I thought was so fitting. Flowers are Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts and have added lots of stickles.
This also fits in with the Stamp Something - Delightfully Delicious.
Oh, also got the Top 3 Blinkie From Pile It On today. Thats put a smile on my face and given my mojo a boost for sure!!
Hope to be back soon with another card. We have a new challenge at LOTV on Thursday so have my DT card to do but would love it if I could spend a few hours crafting.

Lilli Of the Valley DT Card

Hello everyone. Sorry for my absence. My stash is all tucked away so this will be my last piece till the new year.
This week at Lilli Of The Valley, we would like to see a New Year Card. I decided to go one step further and make a calender card. The papers and ickle birdies are Magnolia, coloured with Copics and have cut the year on my MM Slice. The challenge runs for 2 weeks.
Sorry for the rush post, not enough time to see what challenges are out there. I'm a busy bee today.
I'd like to Wish you all a very "Merry Christmas" and a very Happy New Year!
Have lots of fun over the festivities and hope Santa brings you want you want.

Multi Challenge Easel Card

Boy is it cold outside and down to -5 on the school run. Way too cold to be going out today so gonna get the house in order and wrap some pressies then hopefully find a slot for an hours crafting, had no time over last few weeks. Christmas sure is a busy time for all.

I coloured this gorgeous Magnolia image a few weeks ago, just not found any time to do anything with it. Coloured with Copics and Derwent Colorsoft, I chose to do another easel as these are my favourite and took the sketch from this weeks Friday Sketchers. Papers are BG and Magnolia. Made a scroll with a scrap of paper and ditressed the edges and added Stickles. MS Border Punch down the side with a trim of lace. A mix of embellishments, and lots of stickles and for once I remembered to use one of my many charms, I like the Christmas Tree!

And what with it being Christmas, this card meets Lots of challenges

Well I hope you are all organised for Christmas. Only a few day before the children break so I'm gonna be a busy bee over the next few days.
Take Care and Thanks For Looking!
