Daring Cardmaker Challenge

This weeks chalenge over at Daring Cardmaker is Brrr....Freezing. I used a blue background for this as its quite a cold colour and fits on with the challenge. The bauble stamp is from "Autumn Leaves and has been coloured with "Mica Watercolour Paint". Have added a sentiment and a border to finish.

Artglitz/Daring Cardmaker Challenge

This card is fitting for 2 challenges this week, Artyglitz which is Pink and Daring cardmaker which is a quick card. I haven't used this stamp before and have at least 70 different Magnolia stamps. Some day I may get though them all but was naughty at the weekend and have loads of new stash coming including more Tilda's. I made this card with backing papers from Dovcecraft, a piece of Pink Bazzill cardstock. Coloured with Copics and 2 Ribbons and 2 Bows which also fits a forum challenge card.
Beautiful day here and looks like its going to be a nice week. Hope you've got the nice weather where you are! Oh, and Wimbledon starts today, although I'm not a great fan.

Daring Cardmaker Challenge -SHAPES

This week challenge at Daring Cardmakers is shapes. I have used a triangle card and coloured with a distress ink pad, stamped around all 3 sides with a crackle effect stamp, postage stamps, bonjour and a train. Will add a sentiment to the centre triangle as I;m not sure if this will be for Fathers Day or a Birthday.

Daring Cardmaker

This weeks challenge for Daring Cardmaker is Butterflies. I love colours on this card, these papers are my favourite at the moment. Crafty Individuals (Springtime) pad was all that was used apart from a piece of gold card for matt and layering and a butterfly from the Glimmer Chip range (nature) which I distressed with worn lipstick crackle paint and a green inkpad and the stamp is from StampAttack. If you enlarge the picture, you'll see I've added some Glossy Accents to the leaves! This is going to one of my friends whose birthday is very soon!

Sunday Stamper/Wednesday Stamper

This is the card for this weeks challenges at "Sunday Stamper" which is Families and "Wednesday Stamper" which is Arrows. I have used all new stash to make this card and have highlighted the piece of friendly plastic I have used. This stuff is amazing and so easy but think it looks fab! The card has come out a bit lighter than I wanted, still not got the hang of this photography lark!!!
Used paper from Crafty Individuals Background Papers Book1, Arrow Rub on from BoBunny, Together Rub on from 7 Gypsies, leaf from Tattered Angels Glimmer Chips which was coloured with Glimmer Mists and Cosmic Shimmer and the stamp is from Rubber Stamp Tapestry. Gone around the edge of card to with Blue Chalk Pad.

Daring Card Maker Challenge

Not sure where the idea for this card came from but think it works and fits this weeks challenge at Daring Cardmaker which is "Butterflies". Cut 6 squares with a punch then lined then up and stamped image then separated and mounted onto brown card. Adhesive ribbon was added direct onto the card and mounted on top of cardstock. I then went around the card with Distress Crackle Paint and added a gingham bow to finish.

Daring Card Maker Challenge

Shattered this morning, didn't get to bed till gone 3am as D/H ended up in A & E. Caught his hand in the handle of front room door and it swelled up. Luckily only tissue damage but he is strapped up for a week! Have finally managed to post another card.
My First time for the Daring Card Makers and we had to use doodles on the card!. My Doodles are hand drawn stitching around border and used liquid pearls on the corners of the stamped image. I used my new Penny Black stamp and watercoloured with pencils. The "Girly" wording is from a new set from QVC. Papers are from craftwork cards! Such a girly card, dont know who to send it to yet!! Have a nice weekend!
