Here is my card for this weeks challenge at the Sunday Stamper. I have used Basic Grey and Dovecraft papers, Stamp from Rubber Tapestry, Sentiment from Stamp Attack and Swils from Basic grey. Added a stitched rub on to seperate the two papers. Looks like I've found my mojo again! Have a good weekend.

Ismaki Challenge

This is my 1st time with this challenge though I dont know why! I got my new Sweet Art Ebony Stamps today and couldn't wait to play, the images are just gorgeous. I coloured her with Sansador and Prisma Pencils. Other materials used are Bazzil Cardstock, Flowers, Brads, Paper from DCVW Blossoms and Butterflies Stack, Blonde Moments and a Free Download. Rub On from BoBunny a Gingham Bow and some Opal Jewels. Had alot of fun making this and cant wait to get through the whole set (I ordered all 6)!! Sorry if it looks a bit washed out, still haven't worked out how to take a decent photo.

Lady and her Umbrella

This is another birthday card I have made this week. With the kids being off I've fallen slightly behind so apologies if yours is a bit late, there are only a few, I got most done before they broke up. Again this is a clear stamp so have no idea who it is made by, but I really like it and have made another card to blog, just need to take a piccie! I coloured the image with Copic Markers and added lots of swirls to the background.
Have a good weekend.

Sugar Nellie BIA

THis weeks challenge at Sugar Nellie is to make something with the stamps, it was not allowed to be a card. It also fits the new challenge site A Spoonful of Sugar and although it is mainly a card challnge site, you are allowed to make something different if you wish. There theme is summer and you need to use a Sugar Nellie or Rachelle Anne Miller stamp on it somewhere. I've been trying to make a BIA all week as also had my new spacer bar that I wanted to try. This is my 1st large notepad that I have made and really enjoyed it. The space bar in the BIA is easy to fit in and IMO does make a difference to the way the pages turned once bound. I used Suger Nellie and coloured her with Copic Markers, the sentiment stamp is Invoke and a blade of grass. The paper is "Daisy Bucket Design" and was double sided so used both. Attached some S/Adhesive ribbon and some rub on stitches to the bottom. Hope you like it, not sure what I'm doing with it ATM.

My 1st Canvas

I finaly managed to take the plunge after being badgered by a few friends to have a try(lol). It was actually easier to do than I thought it would be but I'm still not sure on the finished result. I coloured a piece of canvas (7 x 5) with Catseye Pigment ink pads and then added some crackle paint. When dried, I stamped randomly over the whole canvas, I used Tim Holtz,Limited EditionRS mainly and a few others. Coloured with Twinkling H20's and edged with Gold Krylon Pen, honest opinions are welcomed, I never planned the layout, just sort of come together but would like to try another canvas. Looks like another one to add to my "Things To Make" on my crafting list, and to think I used to be quite happy making simple cards!!!
Remember to click on the picture of you would like to see it closer.

Funky Fairy Challenge

This weeks challenge over at FunkyFairys is No Backing Paper. I've made a few cards recently with papers as sometimes like the simple approach. I go from one extreme to the other (lol). The stamp is Penny Black and have coloured it with Copic Markers. The sentiment is from Hot Off The Press and clolored with Prismas and Sansodor. Added some butterflies and bee's and coloured those with Sakura Pens. Hope you like it! BTW, looks like my mojo has returned, lots more to come!!!

Lots to Do Challenge

Work in Progress

Couldn't resist posting this picture. This is my Zoe who's 5 busy at work with me this morning, creating a background using the Cling Film Technique. It passed an hour but typical of kids, she eventually got bored and moved on to something else, not before washing her hands of course!!! (LOL).
Clairexx

Cling Film Tutorial

This is a technique I tried a very long time ago. It was my daughter who remembered it this morning and asked I we could try it again so I thought I would share it with you. For this you will need

CLING FILM
FELT TIPS (normal kids ones are fine)
GLOSS CARD
WATER SPRITZER

1) Take a piece of Cling Film and lay it out flat.

2) Scribble some different Felt Tips onto Cling Film, dont overdo it as the colours dont show so much at this stage.

3) Spritz lightly with water, 2-3 sprays should do it.

4) Scrunch up the Cling Film.

5) Flatten out and place over Glossy Card.

6) Spread the colours out and lift Cling Film off.

The colours left on the Cling Film can be reused by spritzing again with water, this will leave a lighter background on the next card.

And here is my finished card which is for a challenge over at Auntys Forum

Hello

Afternoon all,
Still haven't got my computer problems sorted and sort of lost my mojo over the last few days. Hope it will be sorted very soon as not the same without my daily dose of crafting. I must apologise to all my SBS 17 sisters for being a bit slack at the moment, not going near my laptop, but wanted to say thanx for those who have left me comments. I promise as soon as its sorted you'll all be the first I visit. I miss blog hopping and chatting to my forum friends but trying to stay positive and know its not long term. I think I'm behind with some birthday lists as well but hopefully will get some crafting done over the weekend and catchup. Have made the odd card, just haven't got round to blogging. I hope all my friends are well and sending you all hugs. Speak soon

Forum Challenge Card

This is a card I made for a challenge at the Crafters Companion Forum. I'm new to the forum and this is the first challenge I have done, not bad as it normally takes me days to think of something, but this was a sketch so didn't really have a problem. The stamp is the new one from the Boys and Girls Crafters Companion CD and Rubber Stamp set. I stamped it onto a pale pink paper printed off from the Create and Craft triple CD Pack. I then coloured the castle with copic markers and used crystal stickers to give it a bit of bling!! The castle backing paper is from the Boys and Girls CD set. And I have done a matching insert. A piece of pink Bazzill cardstock and 2 jewels down the left hand side. Missing my crafting friends as I still cannot access the forum but hope your all well!!!! Hope to blog again tomorrow. TTFN

For "Bee"

This is a card I made for a forum friend who's just had her birthday. I used my "Base Camp" cartridge on my Cricut and used bazzill cardstock in yellow with a black shadow. I then edged the letters with a yellow sakura pen to give a glittered look. The paper was from DaisyD's and have stamped "Happy Birthday" onto it. I used a scallop blade to cut the backing papers and cardstock. I hope you liked you card Bee.....

Are You Stressed!!!

Think this cards sums up how I'm feeling today but like the humour and think the image and quote make a great combination. The stamps are from Art Impressions and I have coloured with Copics. Have a great sunday and Hello to all my crafting mates....

It Gets Worse!!!

Thankyou all for your lovely messages you have left, right now I think I need them. Hubby spent several hours trying to sort out the problem on my laptop, but everythings in order. The main forums I go onto and practically live on one of them I just cant access, we've tried on 2 other computers at home and still no luck, he seems to think its a problem with the server so for the time being, I'm locked out. I miss chatting with my friends and feel very isolated at the moment. No surprise my mojo has gone out of the window. My back is alot better and my toothache has worn off but will be back at the dentist on Monday to see if any treatment is needed. I think my blog will be my lifeline for the time being, so please dont forget me peeps (you know who you are), not sure if you can access my email via blog profile but leave a note if you'd like to contact me. I miss my mates but at least I can access the blog challenges, so wont have to give up my crafting altogether. Apologies if any birthdays are late, some of the addys are on the forum and because of the problems over the last few days, not really been on my computer, not exactly my best friend at the moment. Happy Crafting and keep popping back as hope to blog as often as possible. Love to all.

What a Day!

Went to the dentist this morning and I have an infection in my gums (not nice). On antibiotics and have to go back Monday for treatment. Bearing the pain, just, but hope it'll ease a bit by morning. Having major computer problems today, I can gain access to certain links, but the forum I am on most, I cant access and now my emails are not updating, so cant blog any piccies until its all sorted. Thats a job for hubby but dont think he's in any rush. Missing my friends and my laptop. Cant wait to get back to normal, feel totally cut off at the moment, but on a better note, at least I have more time for crafting and have made another card this evening with more copic markers that I had delivery of today!!!!! Take care and thanks for stopping by.....................

Hello

Not been blogging as much as i would have liked at the moment. Just a case of everyday life getting in the way but managed some cards today so will blog something tomorrow. I've just got over a bad back and today i've had a raging toothache. The pain has got worse throughout the day and I'm nearly on the ceiling. Need to keep my mind off it so have done a bit of blog hopping and may attempt another card later. SBS 17 is now complete and I have attached the links to all of my sisters. I was naughty and ordered a few more Copic Markers today, I just love them! Hope to be back in craft mode and get back into the swing of entering more challenges. Take care!!

Bunny Garden

Think this card reflects the weather we are having at the moment. I started the card by stamping the snail and ladybirds, then masking them and continued stamping over. The bunny image is one I received in a swap so afraid I dont know who its from. The snail and ladybird are from cuddly buddly and the grass stones etc are I think rubber tapestry. The birds are art impressions.I coloured the image with prisma and sansodor, and the garden with pigment inks. The snail and ladybird where watercoloured with Sakura pens. Had a bad back for the last few days and the pain has been rotten. Weathers great so spending more time outside and less crafting. Last week of freedom before the kids start breaking up from school. Enjoy the weather, been a scorcher here today!

Hula Penguin

This a great stamp I recently purchased and have made a Birthday card with it.I also used matching backing papers which I find quite uncommon with a stamp and added some s/Adhesive ribbon to the top of the card, Bazzill cardstock and a bow. My Happy Hula Penguin. Not been around for a few days, promised the kids I'd spend some time with them over the bank holiday and we had family down today and as the weather was so nice, had our first BBQ of the year. A very busy week ahead of me but hoping fit in a bit of crafting and hopefully more blogging. Have a great week, looks like the outlook here is warm and dry!!!
