Another Birthday card with the famous Tilda stamp. Have used Bazzill cardstock, ribbon, and a K & Co butterfly embellishment. The Happy Birthday backing paper was printed off of Rob Addams Versatile CD. Watercoloured Tilda and backed onto a Medallion Diecut. Nice to be able to play around with colours. Hope you like it!

Matching Card and Fat Page
Fat Page
Card
Had a really busy couple of days and hardly done any crafting. Seem to have lost my Mojo at the moment, but think I will look at some of the challenges and see if that helps. Gotta lot of catching up to do, so lets hope this week is full of crafting.
This is a set for ones of my friends at CSF. She is celebrating her birthday today, so held off adding onto my blog just incase she had a peak!!! Both the card and Fat page were distressed with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and stamped with Paper Artsy Stamps. Hope she liked them...
Monday is upon us, so have a good week!

Triple embossed ATC
After having a go at this last week, I decided to have another play and have made an ATC using the same set of Lustre Embossing Powders The papers used are from the DCWV Far East Stack.I have edged the chipboard and edge of ATC with my gold krylon pen. A very simple technique but think the results of triple embossing are fab!

Floral Window
Made this card using a some stamps I bought when I went to the Make-It show in Farnborough on Saturday. Had a fab time and got lots of new stash to play with. This card was made using a Window stamp from Art Impressions and I used the floral stamps from the Al Clear unmounted set. Stamped window in Stazon and watercoloured. Stamped florals in Chalk and pigment inks. Added a sentiment at the top and used a strip of paper at the bottom to give the card a bit more colour!

Friend to Friend
Another card to add to the collection (although I did make a few ATCs last night). Have a huge box or should say boxes of rubber stamps so thought I'd have a look through to see if there where any I fancied a play with. Found this simple Dress stamp by 4th Dimension and watercoloured. Cuttlebug was used for the hanger. Coloured the card with Tim Holtz distress inks(worn lipstick and old paper). Layered paper and coloured peel offs. Stamped Friend to Friend and a hat to finish off. Voila!!!

Triple Embossing
Made this card for a forum member who has just celebrated her birthday. My first attempt at triple emblossing and just glad it worked. Used a piece of oval chipboard and added 3 differnt embossing powders from a set I got from QVC the other week. Stamped image into embossing with gold ink pad and went around the edge with my gold krylon pen, then matted it onto some DCWV cardstock. Inked the card with Tim Holtz Distress Inks and used an oriental floral stamp again with Distress ink down the sides. Hope she liked it!

Card Challenge
Have made this card specially for a card challenge on one of the forums I am on. Really pleased with the results. The backing paper was new today (paper adventures) and the dark paper (K&Co) was punched with a diamond border punch. Used new best wishes peel off, range of colours and not seen these before. Tilda was watercoloured and added some stickles on her wings. finished with a gingham bow and peel offs!

Baby Card
A friend on a forum has just had a baby girl!!!Congraulations Mags....... First time I've used this board, one of the glitter girls, but hadn't been inspired with it up until now. Coloured peels off with permanent pen and added a bow and rosebuds. The cardstock has lovely baby hands on it, thought it appropriate, hope she liked it!

Christmas Day in Mauritius.
Another Tilda
This stamp is becoming quite addictive, am trying out different ways of colouring and using different colour schemes each time. Have coloured this one with Sakura pens, and mounted onto bazzill cardstock which I have tinted around the edge with a blue chalk pad. Have used a border punch on the backing papers and a stamp from Tanda (flourishes set 1) down the side. Finished with a gold peel off. Loving these stamps and will shortly have to invest in some more!
Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge DT Card
This weeks challenge has been set by Jill and the theme is "A Sketch using Pink, Brown and White". A great sketch by Jill and this is what I came up with. The papers are Papermania "Naughty & Nice". Used my Cuddly Buddly image and coloured with Copics. Added Crystal Stickles to the scarf and boots. Circles were cut with my Nestabilities on my Bigshot. Other items used were three gorgeous Prima Flowers that I got when at Ally Pally, a Gold Brad and a Rudolph Button as it tied in with the theme and I felt the circle looked a bit vacant. Why dont you hop on over to the Secret Crafter Saturday Challenge and see what the other DTs have made, we'd love you to join in!

Magnolia Stamped Card (2)
I love playing with this stamp. I used my Tutti Frutti papers which I have used on many projects and matching cardstock. Love the pastel colours and variation of styles. Coloured Tilda with Sansador and added some crystal stickles over her jumper. Matted image onto pink card and added sticky ribbon down the side. Finished my matting onto paper and added s/adhesive lace ribbon that I coloured with chalk ink pads. Added some prima flowers attached with a brad to finish.

Taught Myself Something New
Been busy making cards today but am often unhappy with the way the photo's turn out. Been playing about tonight and have learnt how to a crop a photo and lighten it if needed. Hope I remember this all in the morning as have got to get some of my holiday snaps on here, so many are asking for a peek. Have felt rotten for most of yesterday (gosh, didn't realise it was gone midnight already), but perked up now. Will get the photo's of Mauritius on very soon.

Magnolia Stamped Card
Hooray, have finally manged to get back to some crafting after my break and decided I just had to try out one of my new Magnolia stamps. I loved the finished result of this card, so much so, I dont know if I can part with it (LOL). The papers are from a mega pack from purchased from QVC before christmas - think they're DCWV. Bazzill cardstock, DCVW adhesive ribbon, coloured the peel off corners with adirondaak pen. Watercoloured the image with Koi watercolours and stamped "Happy Birthday", then added 2 Prima flowers and attached with a brad. Cant wait to try out the other stamps too! The image has now been cropped and lightened a little.

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!
To all fellow craft addicts, I would like to wish you all a very Happy New Year and all the best for 2008. I returned from Mauritius on 30th December and had a fab time. The weather was great and have a great tan!!!!!. My new years resolution is to finish a project and tidy up afterwards, and to try and cut down on buying new stash. Thats gonna be really hard for me as some of you would know (LOL).....Looking forward to getting back to my crafting soon, kids back at school and hubby back to work Thursday so thats when the crafting stash can come out of the cupboards. BTW, thanks to all that have sent me xmas cards, I have had so many hand made cards this year and they are all great!!!!. Off to tackle another box of chocolates, enjoy the bank holiday whatever your doing.
