Help!

Somethings wrong with me.

I can't stand the taste of coffee anymore. I had just had 2 days coffee free- no shakes, no cravings, just really tired! I'm OK in the morning, but by Nanna o'clock (1pm) I'm out for about 2 hrs. Crazy. Especially when I'm at work, someone will wonder why I'm on the floor.
So what to do, I'm experimenting at the moment. I need an adult drink to like. In my memory is a date I had with a non-successful applicant- non successful as he ordered a milk shake with his food! In a cafe! Oh, the embarrassment. I don't want to be that embarrassing one.
I was gifted some delicious Chai- but I can't drink it too often, makes me feel a bit yucky. peppermint tea is delicious, I have a few cups a day but- no caffeine! And I need a little to keep me functioning, I have found out.
Tea? White with one? I can drink this, and like it, but I get a bit sick of milky drinks, not a big fan of the cow juice.
Similarly, black with sugar or honey leaves a yucky aftertaste.
Gosh, I'm fussy. Wonder if it's a short term coffee thing? Hormonal? Something to do with the weather? I'm definitely not pregnant, that's the only other time in my life I have drunk down a STRONG latte one or two times a day.
Oh, well, back to the drawing board. Suggestions welcome!

Good stuff

This week has had lots of good things, despite what the other posts seem to say!

Here's a shot of my little one off to a b'day party and later a sleepover last weekend- such a natural pose- NOT! The roses are such hard work- no, haven't done a thing to them, they came with the house!

So, so pretty, they have all opened up now, they may be bald for months, so I'll enjoy them while I can.

There's been a bit of op shopping, a bit too much to show, but I lurve this retro basketball tee shirt, 70's looking tag inside, can't wait to wear it.

Cam came over for a coffee and dye job, she gifted me these great cups, I am slowly perfecting the art of making a good coffee (I'll be keeping her in coffee for life after the great gift she gave me- hey, maybe the cups were for her, she didn't like my other ones heehee).

(The pattern is one of the tops I want to make).

And bruises- a head clash at the school holiday program nearly ended in tears- she wouldn't let them ring me as she didn't want to be taken home and miss out on the Easter Egg hunt! A true chocoholic! Arnica and a cold washer were needed before bedtime.

So, my busy week has ended, I managed to kill the vacuum cleaner as well, so today (Good Friday) is full of religious expletives as everything is shut and I can't get my vacuum repaired/coffee machine fixed/sewing cabinet key for Statewide etc etc etc.

Happy Easter!

Needed another one

I just had a look back, and I don't think I blogged about my keepcup! I got the one on the left for my b'day in November, and I used it religiously for a few weeks. Then it became all too hard- here's why.
My coffee order is 'strong latte'. No, I don't want a long black with milk; nor a strong flat white. Strong latte is me. So when I gave them the (medium) keepcup, the strong factor was missing; they still put a double shot in the cup, it was just drowned out by extra milk. Extra milk I didn't want or need! I started asking for less milk, which then meant I had to remember to ask, and what is the point of a regular coffee haunt where they know your order if you have to tell them everyday?
So......
I stopped using it. Back to paper cups. Coffee was good. Environment wasn't. Guilt setting in.
Until I stopped into the Green Collective today and bought the small!! Cute, isn't it?

and I can change the colours around!

So I think this has solved the problem. Apparently the large keepcup is the size of a milkshake cup? May need that for my iced coffees.
My new coffee haunt has just opened, a great barista has finally opened a juice/smoothie/coffee place called liquid. Check it out! The best in the 'ville.

PS No website yet, but it is 3/58 anderson st yarraville.
