This week I'm obsessed with... It Cosmetics CC+ Raidance Ombre Bronzer!

I have a really hard time find a bronzer to suit my pale skin. Most of them are too dark so just end up making me look dirty, have too much shimmer and make me look greasy or are matte, have no shimmer at all and don't add any radiance - so I was thrilled to discover:

Want to go down a size in a minute? It's as easy as putting on a pair of pants from Nygard!

Going down a size is now as easy as putting on a pair of pants from the new SLIMS line from Nygard!

The collection consists of various silhouettes including leggings, jeggings, straight cut and boot cut pants with all the styles offering a high waist to flatten the stomach; hip and thigh compression to tighten thighs and smooth out hips; and Slimcurve technology to sculpt the butt and shape curves eliminating saddlebags.

I can't disagree with any of it, the pants really do suck everything in for you, which saves so much work having to suck my own stomach in! And I really love the leg compression which smooths out my thighs and makes it look like I've been spending all of my free time at the gym (not so much)!

The only thing I'm going to have to disagree with is Nygard's (misguided) approval to wear the leggings or jeggings as pants - leggings are not pants and jeggings are just leggings with a couple of rivets and pockets on them which also qualifies them as not-pants. Bottom line - even if they are making you slimmer and your ass look great the rules of leggings still apply - unless of course you want to look like you left the house forgetting to put on a skirt or aspire to look like (as stupid as) we did in the 80's with our spandex pants...

If you want everyone to see your newly shaped butt then the pant style with the straight or boot cut leg are the way to go - they are also the perfect thing to wear when you go to a buffet - go ahead and eat your weight in crab legs and chocolate cake - the pants will keep your secret!

Mascara Monday - It Cosmetics Tightline Waterproof Full Lash Length Black Primer Mascara

It Cosmetics Tightline Waterproof Full Lash Length Black Primer Mascara - $24 - a waterproof mascara with a built-in primer and lash enhancing serum containing proteins, biotin, callagen, olive, jojoba, avocado and peptides.

It has the tiniest little brush that I've ever seen on what is meant to be a regular mascara which means the mascara needs to be applied in a certain way in order to do the job properly.

Starting at the root of your lashes, hold the wand horizontally, then wiggle and sweep the brush up and through your lashes from the very base through to the tips. Add additional coats for more drama and it can be worn alone or under mascara as a primer.

For a more visible eyeliner effect, lightly and gently press the wand along the root of your lash line filling in the gaps between your lashes, move along the entire upper line for an eyeliner effect - which sounds easier then it is, as hard as I tried I could not make mine look like the model in their promo pictures - I ended up either jabbing the wand in my eye or getting mascara all over my eyelid, I obviously need more practice. I like the little brush though, it makes it much easier to hit all the lashes without getting mascara on my skin!
