Brands and stars go Modern Vintage at the IT Lounge!

The IT Lounge was back during TIFF for it's eighth year with a Modern Vintage theme this year which tied in well with the classic brands that were featured to the delight of all the stars who visited.

Of course Roots was there with their classic heathered grey sweatpants and hoodies as well as handcrafted leather purses and bags that are made in Toronto - love these wine coloured ones!

Tweezerman was proudly displaying their latest including: the new Issac Mizrahi collection, the LUXE Edition of Swarovski-encrusted tools and the GEAR product line dsigned specifically for men.

Avon was on hand promoting their Start Something bracelet campaign as well as showing off all the fun new colours and products in the fall Avon and mark. Fall and Holiday collections!

Everyone was kept well fed and watered with David's Tea, Bottlegreen, SKYY Vodka, Stone Cold Creamery and cute local chefs serving up yummy pasta dishes from Barilla!

Natasha Koifman's collaboration with !Xam Diamonds ring-to-wrist jewellery collection also made it's debut - a limited-edition collection to benefit APJ and will be available online in time for the holiday season at www.nkpr.net/collaborations.

Show your Valentine's Day love at Aldo, Roots and Town Shoes

Roots Valentine Softie Tee - $30 - made from 100% organic cotton - The Valentine's tee is a Roots tradition which I take part in every year (except for last year when I missed out and I am still really annoyed about that!)  This year they have theree to choose from and I got this one - the writing, which is a bit too small to see here says "love me because I'm different"  I can appreciate that sentiment!  Keep in mind that it's a slim fit so if you aren't a waif, you might need to go up a size from your usual.

Roots Taylor bag - $278 - Made in Canada with 100% Italian leather and gold hardware.  Nothing says love like a big red bag!  Large enough to carry your own bottle of champagne and a couple of glasses to your Valentine's event!

Steve Madden Toppazz shoes - $130 - Suede with ruffle detail.  Also in black.  Available at Town shoes.

Town Shoes store brand - $110 - patent leather sling back peep toe.  If you aren't a red girl, coral is a great alternative.  Also available in black and navy.  The polka dot lining is adorable and there is also a hidden platform to help you tower over the competition.
