Sentenced

--The negro who assaulted a policeman on Friday night last, says the Charleston News, May 29, was brought up for trial Wednesday morning before a Court of Fresholders. The sentence of the court was that he undergo an imprisonment in solitary confinement for six months, and receive twenty paddles each month.
