Albyberg
Here is an updated view from a part of the new green business park Albyberg in Handen that I showed you in October of last year. You have to walk through a forest to get to this vantage point and that is what I did today. The workers are currently busy with the solar-panels from Garo. When they are done it will produce 400 kWh here at Albyberg in Haninge.

Waterproof receptacle
It wasn't too long ago that I posted about having to run away from a blasting site at the new industrial area Albyberg. This time I took the safe but trickier route. To get to this vantage point overlooking Albyberg you have to trek through a forest on a winding path before walking along a fence for a bit. The only new structure since my last visit was this cistern, one of the workers managed to walk out of the photo in the last second. The road to and from the site passes below the blasted area and I am standing on the other side of that road zooming in.

Blasting in 5,4,3
So I decided to walk in, despite seeing (and photographing), the Keep Out signs that I showed you in yesterdays post. The reason was that I noticed a new walkway that wasn't there on my last visit to the future green industrial park, Albyberg. There have been a lot of drilling and blasting here over the last few years and I wanted to document the result of that from inside the "park". But I only had time to take maybe five photos while walking up the road. Suddenly a few cars left the area in a hurry. The last one stopped when they noticed me. A woman walked out and told me that they were doing some rock blasting in a few minutes time, so I better turn around and walk back to wherever I had come from so that's what I did.

No Entrance
They don't want unauthorized people (including yours truly), walking around at the new industrial park Albyberg, (also known as The Green Business Park), currently under construction just outside Handen. The fences and the signs should have been enough, but I found my way in anyway. I will tell you more about that tomorrow. Some info in English here about the project.

The Green Business Park
I took the bike through the forest, followed that with a walk, before climbing over a new fence to get to the edge of this new cliff in Handen. An eighty hectare big industrial park, Albyberg, is taken shape below me. There has been a lot of blasting here over the last 12 months or so, press here for a huge panorama, and it was easy to see the result up on the cliff. A big forest is no more. A new roundabout is being finished along the Dalarövägen this Autumn. A few structures are already up, and I think that the first company are already up and running here.
