Yesterday was #brooklynwyattday we spent most of the day at a new park we found. We searched for monsters and found hidden trails. It was a blast! If you don’t follow me on instagram you should! Every Wednesday I post the photos of Wyatt and Brooklyn and all the adventures we have together. So join us on our adventures! (Brooklyn is Wyatt’s best friend and I babysit him every Wednesday.)

A lot more adventures to come.

swimming3swimming1swimming4swimming7

I still recall last summer where we spent our days in the pool and our nights in the shaded trees playing until that last evening light disappeared.

I remember feeling the sun on our shoulders when we took those secret adventures as we dressed up as pirates, super hero's or who ever we felt like at that moment.

We’ve done very little of that this year. Its one thing or another but mostly its be nothing but summer for us and I am sorry for that Wyatt.

Truly I am.

I plan on more trips to the pool, more days at parks and a lot more adventures to come.

Be prepared.

Best Friends.

***This is reposted due to Wyatt deleting my posts while he was playing on the Ipad. He is too smart for his own good.***

july5th10

Cody and I have very few friends that we spend time with. Not because we lack them but because we choose to spend our time with those of them who mean a lot to us. Who are there for us no matter what.

july5th6july5th7july5th9

The day after the fourth of July we did just that. We spent time lighting off fireworks with our very good friends Johnny and Brooke. Johnny and Brooke are very important to us. So important that if anything ever happened to Cody and I they would be the ones we would want to raise Wyatt and any more babies that come along.

We think of these guys as the friends we will have when we are old grey, sitting on the porch watching our grown children's children play with each other. These are the friends that are called Uncle Johnny and Aunt Brooke by Wyatt.

These are the friends that we would drop anything for, do anything for, move to be closer too, be shattered if anything happened to them.

july5th3july5th11

These are our best friends.

Best friends for life.

And tonight Cody and I just want to thank them and make sure they know how important they mean to us.

We love you guys and thanks for letting us light off loud crazy fireworks at your house!

(Ps. this is just to get you to help us move. hahahaaaa… j/k or am I?)

It was a stormed out air show, and the only thing we got was a wet bunned hot dog.”

It rained, stormed really on the day we went to the air show. This was Wyatt and my first time ever going and we spent most of the day under the wings hoping that the rain would stop so we could see the main show. airshowairshow3airshow1airshow4

It didn't.

airshow5airshow2

We left soaked, only seeing the pre show.

We weren't disappointed though, even when we had to stand in line for over a half an hour in the pouring rain to get a hot dog.

airshow6airshow9airshow10

The reason why we were not disappointed was because we were on an adventure.

We were together and we will always have the story of…

I took my iPhone swimming.

poolpool1pool5pool4

Omg, today I did something brave, stupid and if it didn't work I would seriously die. I took my iPhone and its new life proof case swimming. oh I also took my son swimming. If you have not heard of the life proof case you must get it for this reason alone. It is waterproof.

I took my phone into a 6 ft. pool and dived completely to the bottom to take the above photos. (the one of Wyatt is me look up at him underwater as he waited for me to surface.) The only thing that I didn't like was that you can not use the on screen buttons due to the water interfering with the touch sensors.

So I had to turn my phone camera on it side and use the volume buttons to take the pictures. but other than that it was amazing to be able to take it underwater with out damaging it. Seriously, it is like it I didn't even do it.

Now, that I am not so worried about damaging my phone I will be taking my time with what kind of pictures I will take and expect to see more underwater photos on instagram! follow me @thedailywyatt
