Building blocks of life…

The other day while we were at toddler time Wyatt found blocks

067069and he was so into it

070 I never saw him be so serious before

062

He played with these for hours and cried when it was time to go.

um… maybe he will get blocks for his birthday?

Just a thought

I could never run 26.2 miles

But my little sister can and she has now done it TWICE! I’m  so proud of her.

She is so inspiring.

Even though I wasn't there to support her (I was working…Thanks mom for the pictures!)

My little Wyatt man went along to do it for me.

He did sleep though it but I cant blame him. she was running for  5 hours or so…

sheesh I don’t think I could do that.

GOOD JOB BREANNE YOU REALLY DO ROCK!

CONGRATS ON YOUR RUN!

Even though you are my younger sister I look up to you. you are doing amazing things with you life and I am glad to call you my sister I LOVE YOU!

(My Aunt Marlene also ran that day too. I think this is her 3rd or 4th marathon.)

*shaking my head…

Her and Breanne ARE INSINE!

One day I will have the will power to run… one day.

Right?

A hand full of peanut butter

With me working 94 hours in 10 days this last week Wyatt resorted to eating straight out of the peanut butter jar…

On the days I couldn’t get around to making his afternoon snack I would open the jar of peanut butter and let him have at it.

I admit, it probably wasn't the best thing I could have done but he sure didn’t mind.

Waiting for “blankey” to dry

The other day when I did my annual “WASH THE BLANKEY” day Wyatt would not leave the washer/dryer alone.

When I finally did get it into the dryer he threw a fit every time I tried to shut the dryer door.

“NO MOM… ‘S DUN.”

Laundry

I said “No Wy its not it has to dry.”

“Mom? Mimkeey?” as he holds him up

“Yes Mickey is dry.”(We washed him early that day.)

012

I then tried to shut the dryer doors again.

“No Mom ‘s dun… EEEE?”

019

As he pushes the button on the side to turn off the light.

Then Bud the cat had to come and see what was going on…

021

“EEE?”  Wyatt says as he points to his blankey.

023

Bud then jumps into the dryer to get a closer look…

039

which Wyatt thinks is hilarious.

029

On a side note….

I did eventually get to shut the dryer door thanks to Bud. He jumped out of the dryer which then made Wyatt follow and torture him.

Thanks for taking one for the team Bud I owe you some tuna later.

:D

I didn't really think this through…

The other day when I was randomly reading the paper I saw a job posting for NCiM it’s a company that hires food demonstrators which are the sample people you see in a place like Costco.

It sounded great… work mostly weekends and get 10$ an hour.

It was PERFECT.

I have been looking for a second job like this for a little while now. The one I have now I LOVE I just don’t get a lot of hours which I am fine with because I then get to stay home with Wyatt a lot more but money is the root of all EVIL and needing to get work/paid more to pay those STUPID bills trumps working less.

DAMN IT!

Now that Wyatt is older I feel like I am okay with him being babysat more or at least I will keep telling my self that. Because deep down I wish I was able to be a FULL time stay at home mom.

But I can’t so I applied.

I ended up getting the JOB!!
PLUS… they offered me the TEAM LEAD POSITION which pays me 12 DOLLARS AN HOUR!!!

AWESOME!

Rhonda my NEW boss needed me to write up a resume for the team lead position. While I was doing this Wyatt wanted my full attention which I just couldn’t give so with out thinking I took off the lid to the shredder (which was unplugged!) and let him have at it.

BAD IDEA!!

Soon fist full’s of tiny shredded pieces of paper where flying through the air followed by loud giggles.
Great… I thought just great not only did I give him permission to do this but I will be the one cleaning it up.

Sigh.

I guess it was a little bit worth it in the end because look at how much fun he was having.

Which then of course only a Mamrazzi would rather take  pictures of him throwing the shredded paper at the camera over 50 or so times to get just the right shot instead of cleaning it all up.

In apartment living sometimes you have to get creative.

With it now being warm outside I can finally have the door open to my patio and have the fresh air filling the house with the smells of spring. (such as my favorite: fresh cut grass mmm…)

I am a park hopper.

Meaning I go to the park with Wyatt at least once everyday that I can which then tends to leave my house a MESS!

The other day grandma Christensen gave us a box full of sand so “I can now bring part of the park to us.”

which means a little me/cleaning time.

THANK GOD!

Wyatt fully enjoyed himself.

He even discovered the little dinosaurs hidden in the sand.

Which of course he made them climb out of the box all on their own.

Thanks again Grandma for this GREAT idea!
