Türkiz-kék :) / Turq-uoiserie

Mostanában a műhelysarok rendszerezettségén (is) dolgozom, pakolászás közben akadtak ezek a kezembe pár napja. Nem is tudom, hol és miért bujkáltak eddig :)

I've been working on making the "studio" more organized, and while putting stuff from here to there I came across these a couple of days ago. I have no idea where and why they had been hiding until then :)

Nothin' but the blues...

Hónapok óta bütykölök azzal, aminek most a végeredményeképpen ez a karkötő (ami nem sok van ugye eddig nekem :D) megszületett. Olyannyira vékonyra sikeredett a lik (túl jó lett, mondhatni :D), hogy a viaszolt szál nem is fér át rajta. Így hát sodronyra fűztem, Swarovskikkal, cseh csiszoltakkal egyetemben, ezeket a két lyukú, négyzet (alapú hasáb) alakú hm, miket? Gyöngyök ezek? Minek nevezzem őket? És nektek hogy tetszenek? :)

I've been working on the technique that finally yielded this bracelet (the second one of mine with fused glass :D). I managed to make it so perfect that the holes turned out to be so thin that they're too small for a waxed cotton string :) So I put these erm, thingamabobs (shall I call them beads, or what? or pierced cabochons? :)) along with some Swarovskis and Czech beads on stainless steel. How do you like the blues? :)

Cserebere-fogadom / Swip-swap brooches

Végre múlt csütörtökön megérkeztek a várva várt hozzávalók, hogy megvalósíthassam az egyik többhónapos tervemet :) Fotózni viszont csak ma tudtam, és ma is csak korlátozott ideig, mert aztán eltűnt a fény, de ennek is örülünk. 

Tehát: mostantól cserélhető közepű textiles kitűzők is kaphatók nálam - mindenki magának állíthatja össze, milyen szirommal milyen középrészt szeretne, sőt, többet is szerethet, és hangulatának illetve aktuális ruhájának függvényében cserélgetheti. A középrészek önállóan is használhatók pl sál rögzítésére (selyemhez nem javaslom!), vagy csak úgy, díszítésre. Az "alapszettek" egy sziromrészből és egy üveges illetve egy szaténnal bevont gomb középrészből állnak. 

Nektek melyik a kedvencetek? :) 

Finally last Thursday I received the findings I've been waiting for for ages and which I needed to make an idea I've came up with a couple of months ago become real :) I couldn't take pictures since then and today I only had half an hour before the sun set but I am glad to have even had that chance :)

So: from now on swip-swap flower brooches are available with interchangeable buttons. You can mix and match the petals with the buttons you prefer, you can even have more buttons with one set of petals or vice versa. And then you can swap the middle (or the petals) according to your mood or clothing. The middle parts can be used as a standalone pin as well for your scarf (do not use them on silk, though!) or just to embellish your coat/handbag. The "basic" set comes with a set of petals, one fused glass and one satin covered button pin.

I just realized that I've forgot to show these - yet even the picture has been waiting uploaded for a while. The two in the middle are not perfect so I'll keep them for myself and the one on the left has already been sold. But I am working on more :) What colours would you like the dots to be?

These are autumnal on the one hand and reminding me of Canada on the other. (I happened to have spent a wonderful year in BC during high school :)) These are the beginning of a beautiful friendship only, I'm planning to have them in other colours as well. :)

Hát ők nem pont ennek készültek, de így jártunk. Már a dizájn is a véletlen műve, annyiban legalábbis, hogy nem pont ilyeneket akartam, aztán véletlen egymásra ugrott a fekete alap és a piros/türkiz pötty. És hajcsatnak/kitűzőközépnek indultak (naiv Panna...). Aztán tegnap este, mikor készítettem ki a ragasztanivalókat, ez a kettő egymás mellett megihletett, hogy... miért is ne lehetne belőlük üvegmacaron? Gombosak vannak csudaszépek, Fércművek legújabb bőröseit is szoktam csodálni, hát akkor most én csinálok üvegeset. És aztán ma, még lendületben, szereztem hozzá láncot is, és íme a (szerintem) első fecske:

Well, these cabs weren't exactly meant to be macarons but such is life. :) Even the design was the result of an erm, accident - at least I wanted to do something quite different but then the red/turquoise dots jumped on top of the black bases so what could I do? And I thought (oh, naïve me,) they were going to adorn bobby pins or flower brooches. And then last night while I was preparing stuff to be glued, these two, laying side by side, inspired me and... well, what the heck, I said to myself, why not make glass macarons?? There are beautiful button macaron necklaces in the world and I've especially admired the leather ones by Fércművek lately so I decided I'm going to make glass ones. And then today - while still in full fling - I got some matching chain and findings and here it is (I guess there will be more to come):

Tenger-parti / Oh the seaside

Múlt héten sem bírtam azért egészen magammal, és vittem egy dobozka ragasztani-nyakláncosítani való üveget magammal. Aztán - mivel "hírhedten" nagy exhibicionista vagyok - kiültem az Adria partján a sziklákra, hogy főjek egy kicsit :D (ez a képeken talán nem látszik, de nagyon meleg volt, és nagyon sütött a nap, pedig elmúlt este hét óra) Folyamatosan igyekszem feltölteni őket, amint sikerül normális közeli képeket csinálnom. Szerintetek milyenek?

I couldn't absolutely turn myself off last week while on vacation - I just had to take a couple of cabs for making necklaces with me. And then - because I am an exhibitionist (just kidding of course :)) - I sat on the rocks by the Adriatic to get cooked :D (well, you probably don't realize it but it was very hot and the sun was scorching even though it was past 7 pm) I am adding one piece every day to my shops if I have the chance to make proper close-ups of them. What do you think?

Metamorfózis - Metamorphosis

Nagyon jó volt a tegnap esti Etsy parti, bár inkább dumálás volt, mint "Craft" :)) Bár az is volt, a végén egy kicsit, most gyorsan csak ezt akartam megmutatni - örök hála Vera Násfának érte! A nagybuborékos türkiz medál az ő keze munkája, a másik (aminek az első átalakulását a múltkor már mutattam) az én ööö... ötödik drótos próbálkozásom. :) Majd még lesz, csak előbb megfelelő drót kell. Az estéről most csak annyit, hogy nagyon jó volt, és nagyon örülök, hogy megismertem mindenkit, aki eljött :) És külön köszönet természetesen Kinemának (EM2 Open Stúdió), aki a házigazdánk volt :)


Yesterday's Etsy Craft Party was really a lot of fun but I'd say it was more about chatting than crafting :) We had some crafting though and I just wanted to show you that. I am much obliged to Vera Násfa, for showing that wire-embedding technique in person. The turqouise pendant with the big bubbles was wired by her and the other one (which I showed you the other day) is my eeerm... fifth try with wiring. :) I'll do more, I guess, I'll just have to get proper wires first. And regarding the evening, it was really so much fun! I am so happy to have met all of those who came :) And of course a big thank you to Kinema for having all of us at EM2 Open Studio :)

Ő már tegnap óta az Etsyn lakik, de most látom, hogy ide el is felejtettem feltenni. Miután sikerült spéci reaktív üveget beszereznem a jómúltkorjában, játszom is vele néha :) (én nem utáltam a kémiát a suliban :D) Ez a medál pl. egy ilyen játék eredménye.

This necklace has been on Etsy since yesterday but I just realized that I never posted it here. I managed to get some reactive glass the other day so sometimes I'm having fun making reactions with it :) (well, honestly, I never hated chemistry classes in school :D) This pendant is the result of one of these experiments.
 

És a mai öröm, hogy ez a lánc viszont már nem nálam lakik, miután ma reggel (mármint nálam reggel :)) gazdára lelt az Etsyn :))) Már úton is van az új tulajdonosa felé, remélem, tetszeni fog neki.

And today's delight is the fact that this necklace is not with me anymore since this morning (well, it was morning here in Hungary to be exact) someone bought it on Etsy :))) It is already on its way to its new owner - I hope she will like it. :)

Egyre jobban kidolgozódik ez a téma, de még nem unom, annyira tetszik ez a türkiz-tengerkék-csillogó zöld kombináció :) A lánc egy zuhanyzásnyi időt töltött el a meskán :)))
