Chanel Gold Fingers - swatches and comparisons

Gold Fingers was a Las Vegas de Chanel exclusive from 2012 released to celebrate the re-opening of Chanel Bellagio shop in Las Vegas. I’m not sure how widely it was distributed later on, at least it wasn’t sold in Denmark. I bought mine from a German Ebay seller.

It is a beautiful golden shade with a pretty multi-sized shimmer making the gold very vivid.

The application was easy, and here I show you 3 coats with no top coat, but 2 coats is enough for most.

Gold Fingers var en Las Vegas de Chanel eksklusive fra 2012, der blev lavet for at fejre genåbningen af Chanel Bellagio shoppen i Las Vegas. Jeg er usikker på, hvor den derefter blev solgt, men den blev  i hvert fald ikke solgt i Danmark. Jeg købte min fra en Ebay sælger iTyskland.

Det er en smuk guldfarve med et smukt shimmer i forskellige størrelser, der lakken meget levende at se på.

Den var let at påføre, og her ser du 3 lag uden toplak, men 2 lag er nok for de fleste.

No dupes here, Curieux is paler and metallic, Gold Fingers has shimmer and Gold Fiction is a tad warmer and metallic without flakies

Chanel Provocation 599 swatches - Chanel Saturday

Welcome to a new Chanel Saturday together with my friend Elena from PicturedTinsel - and this is the first of 4 Chanel posts this weekend!
Provocation 599 – was first released (without number) as a part of the Fashion's Night Out 2012 trio that also included Delicatesse and Infidele, but now it is part of the permanent selection.

It’s a red-toned eggplant purple cream polish, and in some lights it has a brown hue.

The formula is flawless and almost self applying with a good dry time. It can easily be used as a one-coater, but this is 2 coats without a top coat – and that Chanel shiny finish is hard not to like.

Provocation 599 – udkom første gang uden nummer som del af Fashion's Night Out 2012 trioen, der også inkluderer Delicatesse og Infidele, men er nu fast i sortimentet.

Det er en smuk rødtonet auberginelilla creme lak, der i visse belysninger også har et brunt skær.

Du kan sagtens nøjes med et velpåført lag, men den er her vist i 2 lag, uden toplak. Den er meget let at påføre, tørrer hurtigt, og den har en skinnende finish.

Sinful Enchanted coll. 2012 - 4 picks

In a swap with my good friend Lydia I got these 4 polishes of 8 from the Sinful Enchanted coll. 2012, the colors missing here are: Rain Storm, In The Mist, Smokin and Jungle Trail.
They are all shown in two coats and without a top coat. 

First we have Last Chance - a very dark forest green cream

Spring green 2012 comparison - sammenligning

My second post today is just a quick comparison of 3 of the delicate, more or less pale spring green colors, I purchased so far. Left to right: Butter London Bossy Boots, Essie Navigate Her, DiorWaterlily, and the pinkie is Bossy Boots too.

Essie Navigate Her, swatches & review - anmeldelse

Essie Navigate Her is from the spring collection 2012 called Navigate Her.

The photos show it a little more green than it is IRL. It’s a slightly dusty, light green cream color, but not light in the spring green sense, it's leaning towards a light khaki green. All though I like it, I expected it to be more green, just a little lighter than the more cold toned Dior Waterlily.

It’s easy to apply and dries quickly, 2 coats gives full opacity.

Here you have 2 coats over a ridge filler base coat, but without a top coat.

Billederne viser den en en smule mere grøn, end den er i virkeligheden Det er en ganske let støvet, lys grøn creme farve, men ikke lys som i forårsgrøn, den hælder mod at være en lys kaki grøn. Selvom jeg godt kan li’ den, forventede jeg at den var mere grøn, som en lidt lysere udgave af Dior Waterlily, der er mere kold i den grønne nuance.

Den er let at påføre og tørrer hurtigt, 2 lag dækker fint.

I do not know for sure when in 2012 these two collections will be released, but I pretty sure it's summer, and my favorite online nail polish seller has placed an order.
Personally I look forward to the magnetic "Magnetix" collection. The magnet kan give at least three (maybe more) patterns: star, diagonal and v-shape.

Jeg ved ikke hvornår disse to kollektioner kommer på gaden i 2012, men jeg er næsten sikker på, at det er til sommer, og min favorit online sælger har lagt order ind.
