Glisten & Glow Fern Gully swatches

Glisten & Glow Fern Gully is from the Holo Hookup August Box with the theme: “A day in the garden” - the polishes have flower and plant names. 
It’s a gorgeous teal-leaning forest green holo with blue micro flakies. It is fairly opaque in one coat, but this is two with a coat of Seche Vite.

The Holo Hookup July 2016 Box

Today I have Cupcake Polish Queen Anthias, Glisten & Glow Great Barrier Reef Plate Corals, Different Dimension P Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sidney and the guest Emily de Molly Warm Seas Rising – all from the Great Barrier Reef inspired 2016 July box.

All are shown in two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

Cupcake Polish Queen Anthias is a blue-toned medium purple holo with pink shimmer.

Glisten & Glow Great Barrier Reef Plate Corals:

Glisten & Glow Great Barrier Reef Plate Corals is a burnt orange holo with gold shimmer.

Different Dimension P Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sidney:

Different Dimension P Sherman 42 Wallaby Way Sidney is a sapphire blue holo with gold holo micro glitters. I love it!

Emily de Molly Warm Seas Rising

Emily de Molly Warm Seas Rising is a teal leaning green holo with shifting multichrome flakies. The flakies aren’t dominant (also does not look black on my photos), and in the sun you only see the stunning holo. I absolutely adore it!

Glisten & Glow Rebecca vs. Diane swatches

Glisten & Glow Rebecca vs. Diane is from the Cheers collection. It’s a girly pink magenta holo with bluish/purple shimmer/flecks, In the sun it’s a true stunner with an amazing holo effect, but it’s also slightly visible in indoor light settings. I was afraid it would be sheer, but no, this is two easy coats with a coat of Seche Vite. 

Do you like this girly pink?

The Holo Hookup April Box, Autism Awareness themed - swatches

The Holo Hookup April Box is an Autism Awareness themed box: Glisten & Glow Accept Understand Love, Different Dimension I <3 Someone With Autism, Cupcake Polish Light of My Life and the guest Bliss Polish Different Not Less.

The Holo Hookup donated $4 from every box sold to the National Autism Association.

So let's meet the polishes:

Glisten & Glow Accept Understand Love is a yellow-toned bright green holo with blue shimmer and blue and silver micro glitters. Normally I’m not fond of yellow-toned greens, but this has just enough brightness and blue notes in it to make me disregard that feeling. And fun fact: it makes me think of peas LOL You see it in two coats with a coat of Seche Vite. 

I <3 Someone With Autism

Different Dimension I <3 Love Someone With Autism is an interesting black holo with blue shimmer/flakies and navy holo micro glitters. The formula is a bit on the thick side, but completelt opaque in one coat. Dented one finger so I thinned it a bit and added a second coat, now it was much better, and still a one-coater for me. I finished with a coat of Seche Vite. 

Light of My Life:

Cupcake Polish Light Of My Life is a super gorgeous magenta pink holo with blue shimmer/flakies. The formula was a tad on the thick side, but manageable without problems.  It is well pigmented and I’m showing it in two coats with a coat of Seche Vite. 

Different Not Less:

Bliss Polish Different Not Less is a stunning bright blue (light sapphire blue) holo with blue micro flakies, truly gorgeous! You see it in two coats with a coat of Seche Vite.

I find it hard to choose, but the two last ones instantly stole my heart.
