Kiko 853 Pearly Light Yellow swatches

I got this beauty as a present from the sweet and talented Tanja from Raggio di Luna Nails - thank you so much my friend!

Kiko 853 Pearly Light Yellow is a cold-toned pastel yellow with a beautiful shimmer, really beautiful and bright in a super happy way. The formula was a little bit runny, but otherwise nice to work with. For normal nails (without ridges) two rich coats would be enough, but you see it in three with a coat of Seche Vite.
I love this bright and beautiful pastel yellow - do you like it?

Thank you so much Tanja for sending this to me <3

Kiko Imperial Purple and Mint swatches

This afternoon I have two random Kiko polishes!

Kiko 496 Imperial Purple:
Kiko 496 Imperial Purple is a really beautiful dark plum purple. This is two easy coats with a top coat!

Kiko 526 Mint:
Kiko 526 Mint is a darker version of 389 Mint Milk that I love so much – but just as beautiful. Thank you so much Tanja for sending me this one <3 It’s a cream polish with a good opacity in the first coat, but this is two easy coats with a top coat.
Do you like them - and your favorite is..?
I love both, maybe the mint more in spring and summer - and the purple plum in fall and winter!

Swatch Spam OPI, Kiko, China Glaze and Catrice - blackened colors

I never wear black unless it’s a holo, nor do I feel comfortable wearing colors that are very blackened. They might be very OK as a base for nail art, but wearing them alone is a no go for me. So in this post I’m showing 5 colors that all brings me out of my comfort zone. They are: OPI 4 in the Morning, Kiko So Stylish 04 Rouge Noir, Kiko 829 Blueberry, China Glaze Crimson and Catrice 38 Vino Tinto.

OPI 4 in the Morning:
OPI 4 in the Morning is a black with a subtle silver shimmer that makes it look charcoal black/grey. The finish is satin, so it dries semi-matte. This is 2 coats without a top coat.

Kiko So Stylish 04 Rouge Noir:
Kiko So Stylish 04 Rouge Noir is a blackened red cream, in many light settings it feels more like a dark brown with a slight red hue – or even a black. This is 2 coats without a top coat. Thank you to Tanja for this vampy polish!

Kiko 829 Blueberry:
Kiko 829 Blueberry is from the “Quick Dry” line. It’s a super blackened eggplant purple, you know when the eggplant just looks black. In the first coat it had a slight purple hue, but after the second it just felt plain black. The brush is wide, I prefer the normal Kiko brushes. This is 2 coats with a top coat. Thank you to Tanja for sending me this to try :)

China Glaze Crimson:
China Glaze Crimson is a super blackened purple. In the first coat I see the purple, but after the second is just feels black maybe with a warm hue, but even in the sun it’s just black. This is two coats with a top coat.

Catrice 38 Vino Tinto:
Catrice 38 Vino Tinto is a blackened red cream, in many light settings more like a dark brown with a slight red hue – or even a black. This is 2 coats with a top coat.
I know a lot of you are fan of black and blackened colors - so how do you feel about these?

Kiko 343 Spring Green and 498 Pearly Cherry Purple swatches

Two random Kiko polishes...

343 Spring Green:
343 Spring Green is a bold, bright and cold toned green, not what I think of when I think of spring green, but I love this type of shade so much. This is 2 easy coats with a good dry time and without a top coat.

498 Pearly Cherry Purple:
498 Pearly Cherry Purple is an interesting and fairly unique dark cherry red with a delightful fuchsia shimmer. In the bottle it didn't really spark any interest, but I wanted to swatch it before I passed it on to a more loving home. But once on the nails I completely changed my mind – it’s a keeper! This is 2 easy coats with a good dry time and without a top coat.
Do you like them - do you have any favorites?

Kiko 525 Metallic Pastel Blue 277 Blueberry Glitter swatches

In this post I have two random Kiko polishes, both with a very nice formula!
The first I got from my dear friend Tanja from Raggio di Luna, see all the polishes she gave me right HERE – and this beautiful pastel blue she spotted on my wish list :)

525 Metallic Pastel Blue:
525 Metallic Pastel Blue is a gorgeous and almost glowingly bright pastel blue with a subtle silver shimmer. The opacity is brilliant, so this is 2 coats without a top coat.
I adore this one!!

277 Blueberry Glitter
277 Blueberry Glitter is a strange name for this pretty reddish magenta pink leaning polish loaded with shimmer and flakies. This is 2 easy coats without a top coat.

Kiko 466 French Charcoal and 435 Venom Teal swatches

In this post I have two random Kiko polishes, both with a very nice formula!
The first I got from my dear friend Tanja from Raggio di Luna, see all the polishes she gave me right HERE – and Tanja decided to challenge me with two colors that I normally do not feel comfortable wearing, namely grey and dark teal, let’s have a closer look!

Kiko 466 French Charcoal:
Kiko 466 French Charcoal is from the Denim collection. It is a super dark grey with a subtle hint of blue and a subtle shimmer in silver and blue, so the charcoal name is fitting. The finish is fairly matte and it is completely opaque in one coat, and this is what you see, of course without a top coat

Kiko 435 Venom Teal:
Kiko 435 Venom Teal is from the Laser collection. It’s a subtle duochrome, most of the time it’s teal but it has subtle flashes of a bluish purple, but a bit too teal for me ;) This is two easy coats without a top coat.
What do you think?
