If your a G45 fan this is one of the G45 projects they are doing this year. Instead of layouts and cards this year the classes are Mini books.   Stores are sent out the directions and then you can take a class at your local store.  This is the January mini made with the Typography collection.   These are available as kits with directions for you to make at home.  The book is $30 plus shipping.  These are available for sale at Just Kitting Studio (805) 375-1568   You can order by calling the number above  Monday through Saturday 10-2 PST.

Back to School Mini book Class

Wow I just found this post and realized it was never completed.  This is a class I taught several months ago.  I used a lot of Glimmer Mist, stamps, stencils,  Cricut diecuts,
twine, ribbon  and embellishments.
The rosette on the front cover was made using the Tim Holtz rosette dies and the Graphic 45 see through windows were filled with beads, buttons, and paper clips.

Princess Mini Book

This is a princess mini book I designed for the store where I teach scrapbook classes.  The customers love Disney items so I created a "Princess"  book that could be used for Disney princess pictures or for any little girls pictures.  The album is a precut one with cut out gate front.  I painted the gate with Inka Gold on both sides.  I used a variety of princess papers and stickers.  Gems were added as well as ribbon to the side rings.

A New you mini book in a box for the new year.

I designed this book a few months ago but didn't get it posted till now.  This is a mini book in a box that I made a few months ago.  I used flowers, ribbon, mini chalkboard, and chipboard from my stash.  I designed this as  book for someone makin New Year's resolutions or needing encouragement through a trying time.

Graphic 45 !2 Days of Christmas Book

Yesterday I posted two garlands I made using the Graphic 45 12 Days of Christmas paper.  After I finished I decided to make a book using my left over paper.   I bought a Christmas book box from Michaels and covered the front with paper and chipboard then I started creating. I cut the pages using recycled chipboard cut at 5 x 7 so I knew it would fit into box.
Although it looks like I just cut the pages and glued them down it is misleading.   Each page had to have pieces fussy cut and overlapped and glued so that each page had one number and that item on the page. It was time consuming but I was happy with the finished product.    I also used some of the tags for smaller pages in between. I bound it with my Cinch and added ribbon.    The book fits inside the book shaped box to make a really nice gift.
