For the hop today, I've created an angel wing album. I actually started this in a class in December at my local Scrapbook store with Lance from Rusty Pickle. I kept thinking about finishing it and then I saw the Song Blog Hop. I knew right away I would use the words from an old song "Earth Angel" to finish my album and give me a title. Here are the song words which I printed out and put on the pages.
Earth angel, earth angel
Will you be mine
My darling dear
Love you all the time
I'm just a fool
A fool in love with you
Earth angel, earth angel
The one I adore
Love you forever and ever more
I'm just a fool
A fool in love with you
I fell for you and I knew
The vision of your love-loveliness
I hoped and I pray that someday
I'll be the vision of your hap-happiness
(Oh-oh-oh-oh)
Earth angel, earth angel
Please be mine
My darling dear
Love you all the time
I'm just a fool
A fool in love with you
The first two pictures are the cover and the back side. The rest of the pictures are the pages.
The cardboard was pre cut out and then we roughly painted with white paint.
The front page has strips folded to make it look more like wings out of the various papers we had in our kit.
We used Glimmer Mist, Chipboard, embelllies, lace, ribbon, and ink to decorate the cuts.
Title cut with Lyrical Letters
Hope you enjoyed seeing my book and it might give you some ideas for making a mini book.

For the hop today, I've created a Vintage Valentine Book. In December I had the amazing opportunity to take 5 classes at my Local Scrapbook store.  The teacher was Lance from Rusty Pickle.  One of the classes was to start a mini book.  I would like to share a couple ideas from this book.  Some of the pages were cut in 1/2, 1/3's and slanted.  Some were made into pockets.  However the coolest thing was the cover.  We took a small crock pot (like the kind you use for candy) and melted Bees Wax.  You can find a block at any craft store.
Once the wax is melted you brush it on the cover with a sponge brush.  I applied several coats and love the way it looks and feels.
This is pick heavy but hope it will give you ideas for a book you would like to make.  For my book once I finished putting it together I added vintage valentines and rose stickers to the smaller pieces.  I left the large pieces open for pictures.  I also used Tim Holtz Vintage Photo ink to age the valentines, stickers, and papers.

So let's get hopping!! This is the beginning of the hop with Suzanne's Blog  so welcome and let's get hopping.

For the hop today, I've created a Valentine gift box and card. This was my first time making the shoe but one of the reasons why I bought the Princess Party cartridge.  (Besides that I will need it for my 3 Princess granddaughters.)

The shoe was made from the Cricut cart Princess Party and was cut at 7.5 inches which is the largest you can cut it with 12 x 12 paper.  The zebra paper I used was from DCWV Textures and Finishes stack.
The roses were cut at 2 inches from Art Philosophy and the Love phrase is from the Phrases  Cricut cart page 36 at 3 inches.  I then added MS punch leaves , gems, Stickles, Glossy Accents on the leaves and ribbon to finish off my project.
Thank you for checking out my project. I am entering this in the following challenges
Passionately Artistic Linking Party
Craft Junkie Too- Linking Party
The Cuttlebug Spot- Box It Challenge
Bitten By the Bug 2- Dimensional Flowers
Shes a Sassy Lady- Make Anything and link

Now on to my Cricut Messageboard friend Cindy's project for today.  Cindy does not have a blog but wanted to help me celebrate.
The scrapbook page is from when I went to New York City:
Gypsy Font was used for the words, then welded on the Gypsy.  I used white
cardstock. with leaf applied to the paper before cutting.
Lamp post:  Heritage cart
Cityscape: Paper Doll Dress Up cart
The paper is from my stash.

Preview of Card for Kids Valentine's Day Blog Hop Tomorrow Jan 24th

Got an email from Maggie at Passionately Artistic today and over 1,100 people have checked out my Valentine wreath I made as Guest Designer yesterday.   Would love for you to check it out if you haven't seen it yet.
Also tomorrow I am participating in the
This is a great opportunity to make cards for kids who are in the hospital during Valentines. So please come by and check it out.  There are also some great prizes.
I sent Faith 5 cards and 3 will be posted tomorrow for the hop.
Here re two others I sent.
The bear I cut out last year from an SVG file.  I found it in my Valentine stuff so made a card out of it.
The lacy cards are not doilies.  I also actually kept them from last year.
I had sprayed two doilies with Glimmer Mist and kept the paper underneath.
So I cut them out and made another card.  The flowers are also left from Flower Shop
last year and the butterfly is a MS punch.

So come by tomorrow and check out
the Cards for Kids Blog Hop
