Lasting Memories Layout Challenge- Use the word "Lucky"

It is time for the Lasting Memories layout challenge.  This week the challenge is to use the word "Lucky" somewhere on the layout.  I decided to scrap this picture of me and my three precious granddaughters. This picture was taken in November at the birthday party of my middle granddaughter Kenzie. I am amazed that we actually got a picture of all three girls sitting on my lap.  My feelings are summed up in the title "Lucky to be called Grammy."  I used the  Picturesque Cricut cart.  I cut the card cut and corner cuts from page 43.

The swirls that came out of the card I also used to decorate the page.  

The title is cut from Lyrical Letters  and then put on card stock squares and the edges are inked.  

The background paper I got last year and has a bunch of different words about grandkids.  

I also added maroon pearls and seam binding ribbon that was sprayed 

with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to color.

For the hop today, I've created an angel wing album. I actually started this in a class in December at my local Scrapbook store with Lance from Rusty Pickle. I kept thinking about finishing it and then I saw the Song Blog Hop. I knew right away I would use the words from an old song "Earth Angel" to finish my album and give me a title. Here are the song words which I printed out and put on the pages.

The first two pictures are the cover and the back side. The rest of the pictures are the pages.

The cardboard was pre cut out and then we roughly painted with white paint.

The front page has strips folded to make it look more like wings out of the various papers we had in our kit.

We used Glimmer Mist, Chipboard, embelllies, lace, ribbon, and ink to decorate the cuts.

Baby Layouts for Frosted Designs Challenges

Was very excited  I was awarded Top 3 at Lasting Memories this week.  Love these layout challenges as they help me keep my photo pile down.  So here are some more pages I did this weekend for challenges. 

This is a layout I did for Frosted Designs Ransom note or Mixed Font challenge.  I used Wall Decor for the mushrooms in the left corner.  For the Sweet Baby- I used Ashlyn, Blackletter, Cursive 101, Lyrical Letters, Holiday Cakes, Makin the Grade, Print 101, Cuttin Up and Stone Script.  Paper is DCWV Baby Girl Stack.  

This layout is for Frosted Designs sketch challenge.  I had some cute sweet pea paper I had in my stash.  I cut out the cute little baby pea from New Arrival and then added a bunch of buttons.
