Birthday Cards and MORE! Using the last bits of my Country Craft Creations "Birthday" Collection

Good morning!

After I did my folio and my birthday cake I still had a few leftovers so I decided to see what I could do with them.

I raided my stash of Country Craft Creations goodies and made some fun birthday cards, and more. I even used the cover sheet to make a simple folio.

I have a full walk through/talk through share video for you. Please come to check out what I did!

Thank you so much for your support and remember to stay crafty, my friends!

Let's Chat!

It's been a busy couple of weeks.  I have been receiving all sorts of products from Country Craft Creations.    We are doing a Back to School YouTube Hop, and with FREE tutorials you would really check this one out.  I'm going to be doing an online virtual retreat with a theme park/Disney theme, and I received my design team package for July...Carta Bella's "COWBOYS"!!!  I have also posted a tutorial for a SELF CLOSING TREAT BAG that has 4 different sizes, and I have a shopping haul with a sneak peek of a project I bought the Photo Play papers specifically for.  Last, but not least, I have my current #craftygoals2024 and #smashyourcraftystash video posted.

I was also on VACATION!!!  WOO HOO!!!  I haven't had a vacation away in YEARS, and it was sooooooo good.  I loved being able to be with my family!  It was so much fun.

I have projects coming for you, so please stay tuned.

Here are the list of videos...I hope you enjoy them.  Links to all the things are in each individual video.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and stay crafty!

Sassy Sister Swap, Matchbook Style Note Card Gift Sets

I wanted to share with you today a swap project that I did for a wonderful, amazing and talented group of gals that I do crafting with online.  The "Sassy Sisters" had a Matchbook Notecard swap, and this is what I came up with for the project.  You know me, I can not follow directions.  The box turned out completely different than a matchbox!

We were inspired by Scrapdaworld on YouTube with her swap.  The link to her YouTube is here.
My swap partner was Elsa, and I used a 6x6" pack of papers called "Love Letters" by First Edition.  I have had it in my stash and have used it for other projects, but this was perfect to do this swap.
I ended up making a double drawer box to hold the goodies I wanted to send to her.
In the bottom drawer I put the mini envelopes and cards, wrapped in lovely lace.  I also added punched hearts and butterflies for envelope seals.
In the top drawer, I created gift tags and embossed the "to and from".  I included bakers twine to tie them to the package.

Not pictured, I covered mini paper gift bags with more of the papers, I covered mini clothes pins for attaching cards to the gifts, and I sent extra papers in case she wanted to make something else with them.  I went with a whole gift theme on this one.

The project turned out super cute and we all had fun making these projects for each other.

Have a crafty day!!

February Blog Hop Time!

Welcome, Welcome, WELCOME!!!  It's time for the Just a Few Friends group to have our blog hop showcasing our awesome, wonderful, and PURRFECT Valentine's Day Gift Bags!!!

You should have pounced on over to me from RJ's blog.  If you found me while prowling around the internet, please start with Elsa's blog and follow the links to jump from den to den to see what we have created for your viewing pleasure.   I have a full list of my "den siblings" at the end of the post as well.

Please say "Hello" to our newest Cub, Carrie!!!  She is joining us for the first time this month!

Our challenge:  Create a gift bag, and decorate it for use with a Valentine gift.  We could use the colors pink, red, brown and/or black.   The rest, well that was up to us!  I came up with a little project to contain a present for my awesome and wonderful husband, DJ, the King of my Jungle!  I know he is going to see this post, so I am not showing the present on the inside, but he can get a sneak peek at the outside!

I found this awesome paper line by Authentique and I knew it would be PURRFECT for my project.   It was a 6x6" paper pad kit, with all kinds of card making stuff that came with it.   I made the gift bag, and then made a card to go with it.
I used a Martha Stewart edging punch on the black card stock, then layered the patterned paper over it.  I created a pocket with some more paper, and made the "tickets" to go in it.  There is a little paper key in the ribbon in the bottom.  Above, I put a large metal key with the sentiment, "You hold the key to my heart."
These "tickets" came in the paper collection.  I matted them with red card stock.  I am going to wait to show the inside of the card...I don't want to spoil DJ's surprise!!!

Other supplies used:  Tim Holtz distressing ink, Prima Flowers, Recollections rhinestones, ribbon.  I also covered the back side of the gift bag with the same punched black card stock and key patterned paper.  I wanted the bag to be sort of symmetrical.

I hope you enjoyed your stay here!  Please let me know what you think of my offering for this month, and then go stalk Sherain and see what she came up with!!!

Have a wonderful Valentine's day, and remember...Show the ones you love how much you love them every day.  It doesn't have to involve gifts, just show them and tell them!  Valentine's Day can be everyday!
