Birthday Cards and MORE! Using the last bits of my Country Craft Creations "Birthday" Collection

Good morning!

After I did my folio and my birthday cake I still had a few leftovers so I decided to see what I could do with them.

I raided my stash of Country Craft Creations goodies and made some fun birthday cards, and more. I even used the cover sheet to make a simple folio.

I have a full walk through/talk through share video for you. Please come to check out what I did!

Thank you so much for your support and remember to stay crafty, my friends!

Let's Make a Birthday Cake!!! A Country Craft Creations Design Team Project

This is a fun project, and one that I think you will love. This is a decor piece but also could be used for a stunning three tiered gift box! It all stores in itself and can be used for years to come as a decor piece on your special days. I will also be showing you how I created all of the flowers for this project. It's pretty big once assembled, about 15"! You won't miss this at the party!

I have the cut list for cardstock below (scoring and patterned paper will be done in the tutorial) along with a list/links of the products I used from Country Craft Creations. You will also need BATTERY OPERATED TEA LIGHTS for this project if you wish. DO NOT USE REAL CANDLES!!! Thanks so much for watching. I really hope you enjoy the project. I thought it was a blast to make! Country Craft Creations is an amazing online community. Visit the store at https://countrycraftcreations.com. Good morning!  I was given an extra day off of work today, so surprise, my tutorial for the Squash Fold Exploding Gift Box is live!!  This uses the Country Craft Creations paper collection “Christmas Cheer” and the We R Memory Keepers Explosion Scoreboard. It’s available in the store, here’s the link.  You need this board!!!  I love it and I’m having fun coming up with all of the fun ideas to do with it.

Have fun with this unique one way to make a gift box!  Seriously, I think this is pretty cool!

Black and White Gift Bags

I stopped by my local Big Lots store Friday and found these Black and White Alphas by Colorbok!  I paid a wopping .25 for these 1" chipboard letters!  So I bought about $3 worth!
My daughters birthday was Saturday, so I grabbed a bag, inked the edges and voila!  Instant gift bag!

Quick and Easy Date book makeover

Looking for a last minute gift for Christmas?  Well, I frequently grab one of these free purse size date books when I take my daughter to her orthodontic checkups.  I slip the advertisement out and create my own!  It makes a great addition to any purse!
I did all the embellishing under the plastic jacket except for the ribbon, I added that to the outer edge for texture.
The typical inside.
The original advertising on cover.

Creative Gift Bags

I spent this weekend putting the tree up and wrapping presents!  I had a few plain white bags that I wanted to decorate and came up with this.  They are made with ribbon and buttons, so quick and easy. I found Score Tape worked the best to get the ribbon to stick to the smooth surface.

Tissue Box Cover

I found this great tutorial by Diane Zechman for a Tissue Box Cover on Split coast stampers   http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/resources/tutorials/tissueboxcover

She gives you great dimensions to fit a Kleenex brand box.  I embossed mine using Christmas cuttlebug embossing folders and the scallop border punch from Fiskars.  Another great gift!

Match Game Mini Project

I found this great idea at Kerr-afty Creations  How simple & fun!  A perfect children's gift! I used the box a Ipod came in & covered it with double sided cardstock using Scor-tape around edges.
For the game pieces, I covered 1"x1.5" Bazzil Chips with coordinating card stock, only one side, & inked edges.
On the 24 Chips I stamped each pair with the same stamp for a total of 12 different images.
I am going to make a boy version next!

A Creative Wrapper

We jazzed up this extra large Hershey bar by wrapping it up with Cosmo Cricket paper,  created a gift card holder for the Starbucks gift card & there you have it, a cute way to present a special gift!
