"Sundaries" Album in a Box

Good afternoon!  Today I am doing a project share on the "Sundaries" album in a box I made.

The brown mat on the cover comes out to hold a photo.
The tutorial for this album is by Tamra Kilgore-Merrill of Country Craft Creations, and you can find it here on her YouTube Channel.  It's called "Accolade Album in a Box"
This is an amazing and fun album to do, and I loved how it turned out.  I was able to stash-shop for this album.  The papers and assorted die cuts, stickers and transparancies are from Glitz.  I have had them in my stash for years, and this was the perfect project to use them on.
There are a ton of pages and flips in the album.  Some of the cards pull out as well.

Everything in this album is gorgeous.  The box itself is made of card stock, I used 110# to aid in the sturdiness of it.

I had a ton of die cuts that I added to the pockets.
The top flap even opens to hide even more space for die cuts and photo opportunities.

Other supplies used were ribbons, bling, magnets by Basic Grey (6 of them) and flowers from Prima and Petal.

Go check out the tutorial, and go check out the Country Craft Creations store.  You won't be disappointed at all!

Stay crafty, my friends!

Project Share!

Back on New Year's Eve, the group from Country Craft Creations had an evening of fun scrap-a-long projects that they did live tutorials on.  I finished a couple of these projects and thought you would like to see them.  Click on the link above and check out their store, and go on the YouTube channels.  They have a ton of awesome tutorials and the design team is out of this world!

The first project I made was a "Scrapper Keeper" designed by Bobbie Weaver.  Her YouTube channel is The Paper Jungle.  The project is designed to keep scraps of papers from projects used.
It took just a few sheets of paper and some card stock.  She also has a genius way of making her pockets that I am going to incorporate into my books from now on!
I used the keeper to store my scraps from this paper kit.  I think it turned out awesome!  There's even a tall "slot" so you can keep your 12" scraps in order!
I also made the following "Weight Loss Folio" by Kim Blank Rannells.  Her YouTube channel is called Kim Kan't Stop Krafting.
I love this paper by Simple Stories, and thought it would make a cute album.  I'm not sure exactly what I will use if form but I love it and I really want to make more of them.
She incorporates page protectors into her design.  There are envelopes and pockets and plenty of room for pictures and notes.

Isn't this just adorable?
On the inside back cover she put a pocket that you can slip a notebook into.  LOVE THIS!

Last, but certainly not least, Sandy Trefger had a tutorial for a Christmas Card Book.
Her YouTube channel is here.  If you are a card saver, this is a great project!  I made two of them, for 2017 and 2018.

You don't just put the cards in these albums, she is super creative and scrapped them!  This is my take on a page, the first one.  I used cards and some of my scrap supplies.

Here is a picture of the second one I made, all fanned out.  I love it!  I totally intend on doing this every year from now on.  My first two were simple but I am going to get more creative next year.

Sorry I was late this week.  I usually try to post on Monday's but I was super busy, so Wednesday it is this week.  Have a great week, and remember to stay crafty!

Chipboard Folio Base Tutorial

Good Morning!

I made a quick video showing a tutorial of the base of my folio projects.

Here is the link to the video.  It is just the base of the folio, but I have links in the comment section of the video for the process I used to make the folio that inspired this recreation.

Have fun, and stay crafty!

It's Planner Time!

Hello all!

I hope you are all having a good start to your week!  I have been sick, but am now feeling better, FINALLY!  While I was sitting on the couch feeling miserable, I decided to make some planner pages for myself.

The Happy Planner is coming out with a bunch of new things, and I haven't been able to get my hands on them.  I have a ton of the supplies, and I thought I should use them instead of hoarding them!  I grabbed papers, sticker books, and just started making these pages.  I keep them in a book, so that when I need one I can just flip through all of my DIY pages and pick which one suits my needs.

This one is from my Miss Maker sticker book.  I have been working on some swaps an challenges, and I thought this would help keep me organized.

These pages, and the ones below, are made from stickers I don't usually use in my planner.  I use the monthly layout with the lists, and my lists are kind of full.  So, why not make notes pages.  I used stickers from a single book to make each page.

I think they turned out super cute!

There is a half sheet pack that is coming out that has the three top daily priorities.  Since I can't get out, I thought I would recreate my own.  I had all of these half sheets in my stash.  Add stickers, and now I have an assortment of my own sheets.

I used a teacher sticker pack to make this page above.  I thought it would be a great note page.

This page was inspired by my Travel sticker pack and a trip I am planning with my BFF, Jackie, later this year.  It will work great to plan our adventures.

This is a nice page for my yearly aspirations.  Guess I should fill it out!!

Another mermaid note page...I wouldn't use these stickers in my planner, but they sure are cute note pages.

I saw this somewhere, and now I can't remember where.  If I find it I will sure give credit and edit this post.  The lady who originally did this did it for a month at a glance page.  I am sure it will be perfect for this, and for any other list I need to make.

The page above and below are scripture pages that I bought with the purpose of repurposing.  The stickers are pretty self explanatory, and they make a great addition to my DIY page book.

These are assignments pages that I bought, again with the idea of repurposing them.  These make great half sheet planners for specific events.  I even found a sticker that was a perfect party planner.

I know this has been picture heavy, but I wanted to share the ideas.  I love sharing ideas, and I hope that you can use some of them in your Happy Planner.
