Sarah Kay Challenge WK8 Sketch

The challenge for this week over on Sarah Kay Challenge Blog is a sketch. I had this image given to me in a swap...can't remember who with though. The papers and chipboard buttons are Crate Paper "Sweet Branch" and the stickers (letters and journal block) are both by American Crafts. All the elements of the card, with the exception of the image were part of the August ScrapaGoGo Kit....and lush it was too.

Sarah Kay Challenge "How Charmin'"

This week over on Sarah Kay Challenge Blog they have challenged us to use charms on our projects. Now in a caravan over 200 miles from home with limited stash....I was concerned. I made a card, but where could I find a charm. After some searching I found this cute gel butterfly that is part of a "Hello Kitty" key ring, and it match perfectly to my finished card....it was meant to be...LOL

So the rest of the items used are K&Co "Berry Sweet", and I have added a few Kaiser pearl bling, finally I added a random button that was lurking in the bottom of my small stash bag.

Not too bad considering my very limited supplies this week. It is fun sitting in the caravan when Georgia has dragged me back to the caravan as she is tired and wants to go to bed (usually between 10 and 10.30pm) and then Dad & David stroll in sometime after 11pm...when they are bored...or cannot take anymore of the cabaret...LOL

Sarah Kay Challenge 3 "Too Posh to be Square"

I feel like I am playing catch up. I had the last couple of cards loaded since Monday but have only just got around to posting them.

This is my card for this weeks Sarah Kay Challenge. The theme was "Too posh to be square", so I have made a rectangular tri-fold card. I used the "Margaux is painting" stamp and sentiment by Hero Arts. The papers are Paper Mania "Simply Elegant" and I have coloured with image with my Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.

I cannot believe tomorrow is the last day of the school year...boy are we ready for it in this household. On Thursday Georgia and I are travelling to Coventry to see Marlene and her lovely daughter Laurelle....and we cannot wait. Then on Friday after lunch I am off to the Thornham Retreat run by ScrapaGoGo....so a weekend of fab company and scrapping.

Sarah Kay Challenge 2 "A Little Sketchy"

The challenge over on the Sarah Kay Challenge Blog this week is a sketch.

So after a little delay here is my card...minus the sentiment. I have left it as I want to add one later. I have used Fancy Pants "Daydream" papers, as are the brads, and Bazzill cardstock. I have inked the edges with chalk ink in "Warm Green" and "Lime Pastel". The image is coloured with my Prismacolor's and blended with Sansador using paper stumps.

Life is so hectic at the moment, and I am feeling a little stressed. I really look forward to the end of school, even though that presents a whole new set of challenges.

Sarah Kay Challenge Blog - Challenge 1 - Lovely Lilac

The first ever challenge over on the Sarah Kay Challenge Blog is up after a short delay. This week the theme is "lovely lilac". Having received 5 new stamps last week I wasted no time in colouring them, and already had this image coloured when the challenge went up.
I have used Sarah Kay "Precious Moments" stamp, with a ticket style stamo from Autumn Leaves. The papers are all Basic Grey "Euphoria" with ribbon from Gobby Craft and flowers by Prima. The bling is from a large pack I got from QVC a while back. I made the notepaper effect with a Stampin' Up punch.

Looks like the Design Team for this blog are in place, congrats to all those chosen. Look forward to seeing your work in the coming weeks.
